Names are simply appellations.
Are you asking about appellations or about its nature?

Church = Gr ekklesia = Eng "called-out assembly"

Yes, it is the called-out assembly of God, going back to Abraham (Gal 3:7, 16; Ro 4:16; Eph 3:6),
and by extension is
the new creation (Eph 2:14),
the New Jerusalem, the holy city; Mount Zion, the holy mountain (Heb 12:22),
the true circumcision (Php 3:3),
the chosen people, the royal priesthood, the holy nation (1Pe 2:9),
the seed of Abraham (Ro 4:11; Gal 3:29),
the one fold (Jn 10:16),
the one vine (Jn 15:5; Hos 10:1),
the one tree (Ro 11:17-24).

It is the Bride of Christ (Rev 19:7, 21:9), his body (1Co 12:27; Eph 1:22-23, 4;12; Col 1:18, 24)
in the two-in-one-flesh of marriage (Eph 5:30-32).

All of the above regarding its nature are also appellations of the church.
