Genesis 6
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
As I understand it the 120 years was the time period that God would endure befor he dealt (the flood) with the wickedness.
Psalms 90:10
The days of our years are threescore years and ten;
and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow;
for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
This is all that I could come up offhand.

I am open to interpretation and learning.
Jehovah’s long-suffering was seen in Noah’s day. Over a century before the Flood, “God saw the earth and, look! it was ruined, because all flesh had ruined its way on the earth.” (Genesis 6:12) Still, for a limited time, Jehovah showed long-suffering toward mankind. He said: “My spirit shall not act toward man indefinitely in that he is also flesh. Accordingly his days shall amount to a hundred and twenty years.” (Genesis 6:3) Those 120 years allowed faithful Noah time to produce a family and-when informed of God’s decree-to build an ark and warn his contemporaries of the coming Flood.

Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow;
6000 years in which a jubilee is every 50 years has also within those 50, 7 SABBATH YEARS.
50 years= 7 sabbatical years
100 years= 14 sabbatical years (7x2)
1000 years= 140 sabbatical years (14x10)
6000 years = 840 sabbatical years (140x6)
840 sabbatical years divided by 12 tribes of Israel (only gates to the city) EQUALS 70 SABBATH YEARS PER TRIBE.
By reason strength is 840 sabbatical years plus 120 Jubilee years = 960 total set apart years, also divided by 12 tribes of Israel = 80 sabbatical years.
10 The days of our lives are seventy years;

50 years= 7 sabbatical years
