Someone asked "what will heaven be like? will there be food? will we be hungry?". I answered them the only way I knew how to do so, telling them to read the Bible, pray, and seek God's face. That I don't think they'll be food, because we won't be hungry. That if anything, we'll only be hungry spiritually. To serve the Lord in heaven, to sing and shout praises to Him and everything. I'm not even sure that we'll be spiritually hungry, because our spirit/soul will be in heaven with the Lord. Also that Jesus took the bread and whine, blessed it, and said that whosoever drank of the whine which represented His blood which was shed for us, and who ate of the bread, which was a symbol of His flesh that was beaten for us, and how He died and rose again for us, that they would never hunger or thirst again. So I'm just wondering what others opinions are on this, maybe I said something wrong, or didn't say enough? I'm not sure, but others opinions and all are appreciated and welcomed! God bless everyone!

well really no one knows what heaven will be like. so i mean you cant just go and assume that there wont be food. I know we will all prolly be so in awe of God food wont matter. but God wants us to be happy, so i mean if food makes you happy then im sure there will be food in heaven. i highly doubt we will be hungry tho. but i mean just like if you had a cat you loved and it would make you happy to see it in heaven i think, even tho animals dont go to heaven, that you would be able to see your cat. but in the end everyone is just speculating and no one really knows what heaven has in store for us. we just have to wait and see!

Choo Thomas a Korean American wrote a book entitled "Heaven is so Real". She believes Jesus took her there and showed her glimpses of heaven. She talked about beautiful shores and beach houses. I've put my reservation in !!!!!!!

HEAVEN????!!!!
There is Food.
1.The manna that the Israelites ate in the wilderness is called angels food Psalms 78:25.
If Angels eat I believe we will eat.

2.Jesus is coming for a Bride to go for a wedding Supper up there there must be a feast in the heaven for three and a half years. St Mathew 13:1-13

More so heaven is a dimension its not millions of miles far its just here with us. only we cant interefere with it neither can it interfere with us. Jesus used to live in both dimensions as He says in John 3:13

Thats my believe and Faith but have alot of that.
God bless

yes, I to think there will be food, lots of food, but I do not think we will have hunger pains as we do now, I think it will be more of a social event, I also think we will have our mansions in Heaven, and all we will find joy in is praiseing the Lord, time will not have a place there, I feel heaven will be beyond all we can think or imagine, the best part about it for me, is to look upon His face, how awesome will that be, I think that song I can only imagine, says it very well, will I be able to stand at all? it will be wonderful......

Also to say we will not be in Heaven for long but for a short while. Just 3 & a half years just for wedding supper.
By then Jesus will be making Himself Known by the Jews.
After the 144 000 are saved and are murdered plus the two Prophets (Rev 11:7-11) they are Moses and Elijah.
Then we will come with Christ to Reign for 1000 years down here still with those people who have rejected Christ but the devil will be bound for those 1000 years so there will be no sinning.
After the 1000 years we will have the Judgement day which will still be here on earth.
Then God will take us back to heaven so that to clean this world with fire plus all the sinners.
Then we will come back to the new Eden like it was in the begining as the bible say the meak shall inherit the Earth.
We will live here forever more.
Thats the best story i have ever heard. AMEN.

Alright well...as for the part about manna, and how the Lord provided it for the Israelites in the wilderness during their Exodus from Egypt, when Moses led them out. That was on earth, in Egypt, not in heaven. Think about it, we will have a ''new body'' in heaven, it'll be a spiritual one just like Jesus. So again my point of we won't be hungry. That if anything, we'll only be hungry spiritually. To serve the Lord in heaven, to sing and shout praises to Him and everything. I'm not even sure that we'll be spiritually hungry, because our spirit/soul will be in heaven with the Lord. Also that Jesus took the bread and whine, blessed it, and said that whosoever drank of the whine which represented His blood which was shed for us, and who ate of the bread, which was a symbol of His flesh that was beaten for us, and how He died and rose again for us, that they would never hunger or thirst again.(I still stick with this).

They were on earth and in a fleshly body, thereofore, they did hunger physically/fleshly. The thing is we won't have a fleshly/physical body like we do here on earth, we'll have a spiritual one. Also Jesus said that He is the bread of life. Take a look at this.

John 6:34-37 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

1 Corinthians 15:38-46 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

This is straight from the word of God, which is the truth. There's no debating it. So if anyone wants to call the word of God a lie, you might wanna think about it, cause it's not at all. It's the truth. Not saying that anyone's saying that or whatever, just saying my facts/proof come from there. The word of God can't be wrong. Bottom line.

i think heaven will be the greatest place ever!! Now i think heaven will contain streets of Gold,Gates of Pearl, Flowers, Trees, animals, etc..... I just think its out of our brains ability to even grasp even the smallest idea of heaven. I think heaven will contain colors we've never seen and it will have such a great beauty thats just mind blowing!
Lets just say im preety stoked to get to heaven to praise God and meet him of course.... and also sit down and talk with a few people thats mentioned in the Bible. Also the christian missionaries that were killed in South America by that Indian Tribe that speared them to death. Jim Elliot etc....

WHOOHOO!!!OF course i want to meet all of you as well... if i dont meet you on earth before heaven! :D

Stand-up I will also like to state this as i had did up there. The bible says the manna was Angels food. So before Israel got manna it was there with angles.
Jesus after He rose from the grave He went and met His disciples with doors and windows closed He entered, so which body was He in: I believe the spirit body yet he said Luke 24:42.
"Give me fish and they did"
Heaven is real and is there and we will enjoy.

You know you seem to just want to argue, which that's not the point in this at all. So I'm not going to play this game with you bottom line. Not to be rude but that's the truth. You get proven wrong, yet you want to argue anyways. How childish. I'm not going to argue, you're set in your own ways and belifs which I respect and accept. So you should just do the same for others. So that's the end of this.

Also, in the old testiment, which is where you keep pulling verses from, Jesus was in the physical body. He was here on earth, because he came to represent God int he flesh. He died and rose again for us, and in order to do so, He had to be in the physical form not just a spiritual one. You need to read both the old and new testiment, not just one of them. You haven't gotten your testiments or facts straight on this one, I've asked others about this as well, and they agree that I'm right. So not to be rude, but we can't all be wrong and you right. I'm not here to prove that I'm right in that way, however it seems you are. Well I'm not the one you need to prove yourself to, nor do I have to prove myself to you. That's all I'm saying about this, you post anything else and I'm not going to respond, you keep repeating yourself over and over. using the same verses each time, and stay in the old testiment. can't do that sorry.

So also to say i never tried to prove to you but just quoted the bible whether be it in OLd or New testament i believe its the bible. Anyway it was not an urgument as u put it but a discussion sorry for your wrong observation. Finally whether all say one thing i just quoted the bible which i think as a christian thats all my reference. I didnt say you take my opinion but was just also refering as you had done to my issue of manna a top post earlier. I do respect your Christian views whether wrong or right but need to say something is childish is rude and unscothed and needless to say how you see childish things if you arent one also.
Bye hope thats settles all

Okay look there's no need for you to be on here insulting me, and I'm not wrong, my facts came from the Bible, as did all others that agree, you're just mad because you're wrong. So chill out and don't leave anymore comments cause I won't even read them. However it does matter if you use old or new testiment, cause the new one is before Jesus went to heaven, while He was here on earth, and the new one is where he died and rose again and is now in heaven.
