This thread is dedicated for all, to recive a clear picture of which Laws are still in used today that God permits, if you have any to share please do, and please give an explanation on why the law still is in effect today in this age thank you and God bless

1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

I belive it is to respect , the Overseers & Deacons when they are preaching the word of God to the congregation.

God bless

The following is what I have just posted in another thread...........

Any person who believes they are free to disobey the commandments is saying sin is fine. Disobeying the laws governing good behavior is sin, and anyone deliberately disobeying is a sinner. All do to a point, but believers of the Most High God do not do it habitually. Righteousness is attributed to everyone who claims the Blood of the Lamb of Yahweh, but this is not license to sin. If a person does not understand this, it does not give him the right nor the wisdom to tell others they are under the law. The grace of Yahweh adds the will to please Him. This means we obey Him. It does not mean we sin because we are under grace; frankly this teaching is a grievous lie.

All of them.

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. -- Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 5:17-19

I also like to refer to these as well...........

Galatians 3:6) Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
7 .) Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
8 .) And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
9 .) So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
10 .) For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
11 .) But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
12 .) And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
13 .) Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 .) That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
15 .) Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
16 .) Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
17 .) And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
18 .) For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
19 .) Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
20 .) Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
21 .) Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
22 .) But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
23 .) But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24 .) Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 .) But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26 .) For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 .) For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 .) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 .) And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

.......so, wondering here, but is Paul saying here that it's ok for women to talk now?............

It is not the laws in and of themselves that were important. It was the eternal principles for which those laws stood that were important. Jesus could never get the Pharisees to understand this. While the Law itself was fulfilled and taken out of the way, the eternal principles upon which that law was establishes still stand.

Food does not justify anyone. Yeshua teaches nothing by entering the body pollutes the body, it is what proceeds from the heart.

If we follow the Example of Yeshua in all manner we know how to behave, and this also demonstrates to our hearts and souls there is no harm in the laws of good conduct, though having to be told what is good is sometimes a demonstration of just how needful most are of guidelines.

It is a shame we need to be told to return anything we find to its owner, even if it be an enemy, but we must at times.

The laws are very good on conduct. The ones that have nothing to do with righteousness, just ceremony and appearanaces are passed, unecessary. It is always good to BE good...and when we are not, we are not to worry about the punishment and death, for us they, the curse of the law, were destroyed on the cross, for the One on the cross desires mercy and not sacrifice.

" Woman speaking in the Church" is not talking about A woman testifying, or teaching a Bible Class for Children, etc. Paul is referring to a woman having the role of Preacher, or a Pastor, this is not allowed.

1st Corinthians 14:34) Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
35 .) And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

hmmm, dunno, seems to me it's petty clear that they are to "keep silence in the churches." AND "if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home:"

So, I don't see Paul saying anything about the role of Pastor or Preacher...........

As well, would this be a "custom?" Being a law regarding the "customs" of that period? If so, are laws concerning "customs" still in effect for today's Church?

I know some denominations/believers today translate this Scripture the way you said, but it seems to me that by so doing it is a convenient way to uphold their traditional denominational/personal beliefs about what role a woman may serve in the Church. Now that's just an opinion............so.......... :)

All of them.

Except for the sacrifices in Leviticus 1-5, which should be spiritually done all the time, with the recognition that Yeshua is our ultimate sacrifice.

The priesly Laws are also for the High Priest Yahshua, but all others apply.

1 Yahchanan 2:7, "Brothers, I write no new Laws to you, but the old Laws which you had from the beginning: The old Laws are the Law which you had from the beginning."

Burden? Not to the children of Yahweh!

1 yahchanan (John) 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yahweh: When we love Yahweh by keeping His Laws. For this is the llove of Yahweh: That we keep His Law, and His Law is not grievous."

Pslam 199:97-104, "O how we love Your Law! It is our meditation all the day. Your Laws make us wiser than our enemies, because they are our possession at all times. We have more understanding than all our teachers, because Your testimonies are our meditation. We understand more than the ancients, because we keep Your precepts. We have restrained our feet from the path of every evil way, in order that we may keep Your Law. We have not turned away from Your judgments, for You Yourself have taught us. How sweet are Your Laws to our taste; sweeter than honey to our mouths! From Your precepts we get understanding! Therefore, we hate every path of falsehood;"

Mattithyah 22:37-40, "Yahshua said to him: You must love Yahweh your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might (Deut 6:5). This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself (Lev 19:18). On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

On these 2 Laws/Commandments "hang all the Law" not do away with or destroy, HANG, meaning you break any of them you have broken one of these 2.

Anothr insight to it not beoing only 10:

Revelation 22:15, "For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and worshipers of gods and
everyone who professes to love, yet practices breaking the Law."

"dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers" are not against the 10 Commandments, yet people will be reject for breaking these, for the mouth of Yahshua has spoken it.

Mattithyah 7:21-23, "Not everyone who says to Me; Teacher! Teacher! will enter into the Kingdom of Yahweh, but only he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day; Teacher! Teacher! Have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and in Your
Name performed many wonderful works? But then I will declare to them; I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who practice iniquity."

"but only he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven"

Deuteronomy 10:12-13, "And now, O Israyl, what does Yahweh your Father require of you, but to reverence Yahweh your Father by walking in all His ways, by loving Him, by serving Yahweh your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, By keeping the Laws of Yahweh, with His statutes, which I command you
this day, so that you may be blessed?."

"Have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and in Your
Name performed many wonderful works?"

Do Muslims do things in His Name? Buddists? Hare Krishnas? or Atherist? You get the point
This is a message to us! Followers of or people who claim to be followers of the Messiah.
If you tell me to mow your lawn in a CERTIAN manner, but I do it the way I choose, did I do it your way?

"But then I will declare to them; I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who practice iniquity!"
Iniquity is Word #458 from word #459, Greek Dictionary, Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, meaning not subject to (Yahweh's) Laws, transgressor.

Revelation 22:12-15, "And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be. I am the First and the Last, the
Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and worshipers of gods and everyone who professes to love, yet practices breaking the Law."

Mattithayh 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Luke 16:17, "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."

We can not enter the Kingdom of Yahweh by the Law alone, but we can not make it by rejecting Yahweh's Law.

Revelation 12:17, "And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went to make war with those who forsook her seed; her seed being those who keep the Laws of Yahweh, and have the testimony of Yahshua Messiah."

Revelation 14:12, "In this manner are the saints purified--by keeping the Laws of Yahweh, in conformity with the faith in Yahshua Messiah."

Pslam 119:142-143, "Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, because Your Law is the truth! Trouble and anguish have overtaken us, but Your Laws are our delights."

It is not (should not be) necessary for my posting what I have many times before, so paraphrasing I will. When we pay attention to what the Spirit says to the churches, sorry, to what Jesus says to those who believe, we know by His actions and teachings that not all of the laws given by Moses and inspired by God, are to be followed.

If we read the Old Testament and pay attention also, we read how God gave the Children of Israel laws that were bad. Do you suppose this could be why Yeshua ignored some of the laws, especially the punitive laws, in favor of mercy?

He did a lot of things contrary to the bad laws demonstrating we only need to follow laws showing us how to "be good." Think about it. Study it. Why are so many teachers teaching here but not all of the Word?

those Laws God gave Israel were to bring them into judgment yes? As we have (through Jesus Christ) passed into Grace, we should not have to follow those Laws yes? Hope not, because I can't even begin to remember all of them......sigh.....

10 Commandments........Yes
the Two about Loving God and our neighbors.......Yes
other Commandments/Instructions Jesus gave us...........Yes

as for the rest, not real sure they apply to the Church today..........

I am sorry, here is the reference:

Eze 20:24
Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers' idols.

Eze 20:25
Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live;

Eze 20:26
And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD.

Do these apply in your view?

Leviticus 19:9-18,29-31 "When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not completely harvest the corners of your field, nor shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest. You shall not glean your vineyard, nor shall you gather every grape of your vineyard. You shall leave them for the poor and the stranger; I am Yahweh your Father. You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie one to another. Do not vow falsely with My Name, and so profane the Name of your Father. I am Yahweh. You shall not defraud your neighbor, nor rob him. Do not hold back the wages of a hired man overnight. Do not curse the deaf or put a stumblingblock in front of the blind; but reverence your Father. I am Yahweh. Do not pervert judgment: You shall not show partiality to the poor, nor honor to the person of the great. In righteousness you shall judge your neighbor fairly. You shall not go about tale-bearing or slandering among your people. Do not do anything that endangers your neighbor's life. I am Yahweh. You shall not hate your neighbor in your heart. Rebuke your brother or your sister frankly, so you will not share in his or her guilt. Do not seek revenge nor bear a grudge against one of your own people; but you shall love your neighbor; whether a brother or an enemy, as yourself. I am Yahweh.Do not prostitute your daughter, to cause her to be a harlot; or the land will fall into harlotry, and the land will become full of wickedness. Do not turn to mediums nor familiar spirits. Do not seek after them, to be defiled by them. I am Yahweh. You shall stand up before the gray headed, and you shall honor the presence of an Elder or Teacher; thereby giving reverence to your Heavenly Father. I am Yahweh. If a stranger lives with you in your and, do not mistreat him. The stranger living with you must be treated as one of your native-born, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh. Do not use dishonest standards when measuring length, weight, or quantity. You shall have honest balances, honest weights, an honest ephah; a dry measure, and an honest in; a liquid measure. I am Yahweh your Father Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Therefore, you must observe all My statutes and My judgments, and perform and do them. I am Yahweh."

The Children of Israel, while they were in the wilderness, were disobedient, and by their disobedience salvation was gained by the nations.

Had the chosen of Yahweh been perfect, there would have been no need for the gentiles to be saved, nor would we be. Yahweh's ways are not our ways. It was intended the chosen would not be perfect. They were and are a demonstration people to the world to get to know their God (again) and understand His wonder, love and mercy.

His intent all along is to save all who will come to Him, by His Lamb, Yeshua. All these things had to be in order to get all back to Him. Yahweh does not want one soul to perish. It is tragically sad that so many chose evil over good. It is terrible. Yahweh is good always, amen.

Isn't most of this within the 10 Commandments, or within the commandments/teachings of Jesus?

I think I could read through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and find teachings of all of this in red......so, I'm quite ok with that.
As I stated:
"Other commandments/instructions Jesus gave us........"
