Proverbs 6:12-19

A worthless person, a wicked man,
Walks with a perverse mouth;
He winks with his eyes,
He shuffles his feet,
He points with his fingers;
Perversity is in his heart,
He devises evil continually,
He sows discord.
Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly;
Suddenly he shall be broken without remedy. These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.

I see a lot of pride on these forums I don't know if that is where you directed the thread so I apologize if I am side tracking it...

Btw amazing scripture :D I like the ones that warn of us of our on failings...

When those words of scripture are brought into the open in the light, the light is received with gladness or resisted with a critical spirit because they refuse to come to the light less their evil deeds (of the tongue) be reproved. This is when that self righteous spirit comes into play to exalt itself against the knowledge of God instead of humbling themselves under the mighty hand of God to receive grace instead of being resisted by God.

Proverbs 16:18-19
Pride goes before destruction,
And a haughty spirit before a fall.
Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly,
Than to divide the spoil with the proud.

Proverbs 15:12, "A scorner has no love for one who would reprove him, so he will not go near the wise."

Proverbs 10:17, "He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, but he who refuses reproof goes astray."

Proverbs 10:16, "The wages of the righteous is life; but the fruit of wickedness is sin and death."

I just wish that we understand who these wicked men are. Is not our fruit sin and death?

well cadburys carelmel bars are wicked to, like me may give you wink when i want a piece And me may shuffle me feet to And my heart may devise wicked plans to pinch a Peace when you not looking if your not sharing but me would class that as borrowing but you may call me a thief, me may say oh get over it an stop being a meany thats wicked
