Why are we to allow the Lord to lead our lives ? The Lord leads :)

It says in Galations 5:

"Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit's leading in every part of our lives."



Does it make sense a little more now why I say 'The Lord leads' all the time to you, Christ peeps, on here :)

It's a fact, whether we want to admit it or not, ultimately, the Lord controls our lives. Sure, we make our own choices within that framework, but the Lord KNOWS what we are to do and where we are going, IF we are with Him in our lives' leading. :)

We are living by the Spirit of God ! :) Alive ! With abundant life inside us, His for us, Him in us. :)

"As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are sons (and daughers) of God." Romans 8:14 Children of God, those :)

So, what just does this verse say to you ? What about those all-encompassing, almost surreal words, 'every part of our lives,' how do those words infect and effect and affect what happens to us as we follow Him who leads us ?


So, how are you led ? The Lord leads :)

I have been amazed as I become older and less concerned about
my future, or am I doing enough, the Lord truly has been going
before me. How does He lead me ? By the sensitivity to His presence.
By trusting in Him, knowing where He is going to lead me, I will follow.
He won't take me anywhere that He would not keep me safe. ~

Hence why we need to put on the armour Of God, to our Spiritual Body. So we can resist the demons and the enemy with God's power of his spirit living in us. Without the spirit living in us, we will never have the true power of God to fight our spiritual battles. So thank you God for your power and authority and spirit.

It's not a profound way He leads either, and, good posts everybody, He leads by faith, through faith, just the same as all others of our biblical past, who are our heroes of FAITH :) Do you WANT to be a 'hero' in your life? Super !!!! :)

I don't want to be a super hero, I just want to be a vessel for God. and the journey to being that vessel comes with a lot of hurdles. So anyone being a hero here would be God. Because he is with me as I try to get over the hurdles of life.

Someone is only MADE a hero by his/her faith in Him , to let Him lead ALL parts of his/her life :)

Now, wouldn't that be super, HisrichUK :)

yes supa dupa. But we are made kings and priest, I would like the title of king than hero, lol But I know what you are saying though.

It would be more wise for me to not have 'hero's.'
Anything that is put before God, would be and idol.
Let me rephrase that, ANY PERSON, put before
God, is an idol.
Role Model is good to aspire for. Be Godly and ready
to allow Him to use you as if Jesus were leading the
way.
I am sure there are more role models here than we
have yet to meet.
Always remember, scripture tells us, "Cursed are
those who depend on the arm of flesh." Man will
let us down, God never will. ~

Absolutely. WE should want to be a 'hero' like Abraham, do you see a lack of humbleness in Abraham, he saying, 'I AM the father of nations. Here me, bow down, and, obey.'

No, God just MADE Abraham THE 'Father Of Nations' because of His great faith to follow God in willingness kill his own son as God led Abraham up the mountain. Yes, THAT is the kind of faith that WILL make you a 'hero.; But, to think, it's a definition of being knowingly feeling heroesque, if you will, uh-uh. NO ! You simply wiill be one as God leads you and YOU will NOT even know what your right brain and left brain are doing, or, caring, same with your left hand and right hand, you are JUST doing things as His Spirit leads yours, as your life goes forth, anonymously caring about the great things He is doing in your life, YOU, HERO ! :)

The Lord been leading my life for24 yr. That the reason Jesus came and die for us to have a sinfree life.
With the Holy Spirit that the only way .

Yes, holygirl, amen ! If we follow the Lord, if we worship Him in our spirit and also in the Truth of His Word, then, we will have His Spirit in us leading, and, He will be leading from our heart :)
