Yikes! I've seen this nonsense flying around CC. It makes me sick. Christians need to be discerning, yes, but we're also called to think critically (use our God-given brains). Clearly, the three claw marks just form the letter M as in "Monster", the name of the energy drink. It's quality graphic design, nothing more.
Thank You! Geez! What will they think of next? Hey! I got an idea! How about what God says it is!:p:eek:

i don't understand why some people insist on turning just about everything into a mere matter of opinion...

how numbers are written in hebrew is not a matter of opinion...there is only one right way to do it...

'vav vav vav' does not translate to 'six hundred threescore and six'...that is not my 'estimation'...that is a -fact- of the hebrew language...

we don't get to make up our own version of hebrew where 'vav vav vav' is a valid way of writing 'six hundred threescore and six'...

honestly your objection is about as reasonable as saying 'who are you to say that MCDQRP doesn't mean 2013 in roman numerals?'
Did you actually go to the original source and see this symbol or was the symbols that were used were these symbols?

traditionally each hebrew letter has been assigned a numerical value...after reaching the last letter of the hebrew alphabet you can write higher numbers using combinations of hebrew letters... here is a chart of the numerical values of the hebrew letters...

There are several methods used to calculate the numerical value for the individual words, phrases or whole sentences.

Energy drinks are aimed at are the young, hip and cool, party-all-night/study-all-night type people. Hence, the aggressive font and intense drink label. Nothing more. It's graphic design 101.

Well, the year 2013 is MMXIII in Roman numerals.

...what's up with the rest of the jargon? You're not drinking those terrible Monster drinks, are ya? :)

If the logo is not really the sign of devil,so what?
the words on the drink is '' Monster Energy '', so that you know this words is not good and belongs to devil
Don't care about the logo ,but care the words also
It's just the way that psycho-American pop culture thinks.

this actually isn't a gematria issue... gematria involves calculating numerical values for hebrew words...'vav vav vav' is not a hebrew word... the bottom line of this topic is whether or not 'vav vav vav' is a valid way of writing 'six hundred threescore and six' in hebrew...and it is not...

i am also wary of 'moving the goalposts' on this topic...the issue is not a question of whether or not a person could invent a mathematical scheme for converting 'vav vav vav' to the biblical number of the beast...the issue is whether or not 'vav vav vav' is a valid way to write the number of the beast in hebrew...and as i have shown...it is not...

'beast' and 'monster' are synonyms...so you have only shown that someone in the monster energy drink advertising department may have access to a thesaurus...

the word 'beast' is also commonly used to mean 'tough guy' in current culture...

When Rachel first posted, I could see vav, zayin, vav, for sure.

But MONSTER starts with M. Wouldn't it be more sense to be the capital letter M, which is the first letter of the name of the drink?

I do find it sad that people become so paranoid about nothing. The fact is, if you are following God and serving him, the devil is not going to seduce you with nonsense like drinking Monster energy means giving yourself to Satan.

I mean, either you are God's child or you are not! You don't lose your salvation over an energy drink!

Not in my Bible!
psalm 104:25..."So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts."

lamentations 4:3..."Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness."

so 'monster' and 'beast' are sometimes synonyms in the bible as well...

That's not my Bible either.
even in the bible some similar concepts appear...for example ishmael is called a donkey...

genesis 16:12..."He will be a wild donkey of a man, His hand will be against everyone, And everyone’s hand will be against him; And he will live to the east of all his brothers."

and a donkey was considered a beast...

matthew 21:5..."Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Behold your King is coming to you, Gentle, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.'"

My mistake then, I always thought when two species have different names that means that they're different.
