Today, in the U.S.A., they are celebrating Thanksgiving Day. Assuming all give thanks to their Maker, this is the perfect man devised holiday, for the only sacrifice we may offer our Father is thanksgiving. This is written, and thinking on it, it rings pure and true.

I would like everyone who has not already done this, you reading may have, to do something. I would like everyone to thank the Father for making each of us as He made us. Thank Him for being made just the way you are.

He is the Potter, and we are the vessel made His way, in His manner, for His purpose just as we are. He did not make any mistake in any of us, so thank Him for being what He made you. I do this all of the time because being in that frame called flesh, there are times I wonder why and what, and thanking Him I realize, it is not my plan but His, and He is glorious in every way. Praise Yahweh, God, amen

Happy Thanksgiving to all the family in Messiah, amen.

One of the greatest sins of this nation is ingrattitude. We are certainly fulfilling this...

2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Sadly, the meaning of this particular Holiday is now condensed to commercialism of Christmas and holiday shopping.

They say the key to happiness is gratitude, and I believe it. How can anyone be unhappy when they are thankful for so many blessings in their life? And I don't care who you are, if you are breathing, you are blessed in one way or another. Everything God does is so wise, and so much for our own benefit. We know that when we pray, it is we who are blessed in the conditioning of our soul. God commands us to pray not only for his own glory, but for our benefit. The same is true of thankfulness. He wants us to be thankful, not only because we SHOULD be, but because he knows that it will lift our spirit and bring us joy.

Actually, in my neck of the woods, Thanksgiving is looked right through. People begin with Hallowe'en in September and then go straight to xmas. Thanksgiving is nothing more that a pig-out and football. Disgusting.

First we will hear, it is not in the Word, however we all know giving thanks is in the Word. So, we take it from there.

Forgive my saying today is Thanksgiving. Honest, I really did check my Windows Live Calendar, the full page, and when I looked I saw the 21st as Thanksgiving Day. Relooking after my beloved sister sent telling me I am a week early, I see I am a week early. Go figure! God bless all who understand how much we all have to be thankful for. Many do not realize Yahweh does everything for us. He really does. Get to my age, and you will truly understand this. He is so good, amen.

"We have forgotten the gracious hand which has preserved us in peace and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us, and have vainly imagined in the deceitfulness of our hearts that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving Grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us."

Deu 8:11 Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:
Deu 8:12 Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;
Deu 8:13 And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;
Deu 8:14 Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;
Deu 8:15 Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;
Deu 8:16 Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;
Deu 8:17 And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.
Deu 8:18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
Deu 8:19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.
Deu 8:20 As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.

it wouldn't make any sense for them to do so. Thanksgiving (United States) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that is each nation that has it's own type of "thanksgiving" celebrate it on different days,and different "gods" are thanked for the harvest. so as for a "christian Holiday" that would apply to Christians in every nation it would not apply(notice the united states in brackets at the heading of wickp.article),,so it is describing only the one celebrated in the u.s. by it's citizens.

in Florida and Canada there were similar holidays celebrated in the Americas before the first thanksgiving in 1621. so the holiday 4th/thur/nov. in the u.s. is (captive only to the u.s.) as a national Holiday the same as it celebrates the 4th of July(not the independence of any other nation). in central and south America they take some offense(small) to the term applied in slang "American" to denote the united states(nation) from the troubles traveling to other nations,(they have to explain they are American,south or central American from which nation they are from),,,the same over the show title,"good morning America" which implies it is shown to the whole (Continent of the Americas,north,central,south)when it is only shown in two nations the u.s. and Australia.

in the same manner in the u.s. things like "thanksgiving" are assumed to be celebrated world wide as a christian Holiday when it only applies to their own nation. at the top of the page(here at c.c.) as we all know it states "Live International fellowship",,,so we must bear in mind that in other nations they may have similar harvest feast and give thanks in the same manner but to different gods. in the o.p. he states,,,"today in the u.s.a".,,,then ends the o.p. with,,,"all in the family in messiah",,,which narrowed it down to the nation he was speaking to and the religion he was addressing,,,, Good Morning America - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

John 1:17) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
18 .) Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
19 .) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

Matthew 6:33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Psalms 106:1) Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 .) Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise?
3 .) Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
4 .) Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
5 .) That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.

Psalms 107:8) Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9 .) For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

He is the Potter and we are the clay. It was only very recently that I realized it is not immodest to thank the Potter for making me, perfect but not perfected.

Yes, I always thank Him for everything, even when evil has befallen me, I thank Him. When I have done this, good has always come out of the evil, but only very recently did it occur to me to thank Him for making me. My faults are by design to bring me closer to Him realizing always that perfection will not come until He has finished His great work in me.

All who believe Yeshua have been created perfect, even with flaws, because it is our flaws that point us to Glory. Blessed be the Potter Who made is, and made us perfect for each's purpose. Halleluyah, amen.............amen.

2nd Corinthians 12:9) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 .) Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Psalms 62:1) Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
2 .) He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
3 .) How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
4 .) They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
5 .) My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
6 .) He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
7 .) In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8 .) Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

When anyone prays this from the heart, he becomes David, for David is fully translated beloved. All who pray this are beloved by all, amen...beloved by All..................amen.
