Just thought I would share:

Proverbs 22:31;
[SUP]31 [/SUP]The horse is prepared for the day of battle,
But deliverance is of the Lord.

What are you doing to prepare your horse?

My reason for hope is the Messiah has been resurrected AFTER becoming a blessing for me. And since I know Yahweh is the standard of perfection concerning love, loyalty, truth, peace, etc. I know He will keep His promises!

HalleluYAHWEH!

Renewing my mind, paying attention to the time of battle so that I may hear the battle cry and be ready, seeking to walk the narrow path instead of the wide, examining my own heart, saving myself from this untoward generation, looking for the wicked ways in me, studying to show myself approved.

What are you doing?:)

I'm trying to familiarize and memorize the Word of God. And this to my best ability:
[h=3]Ephesians 6:10-18[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[h=3]The Armor of God[/h]10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

The conjunction is not "and" it is "but". One thought is not in addition to the other one, the second thought stands in contrast to the first.

This verse is not an exhortation to prepare horses. IN fact, the idea here is that the preparation of horses is futile.

Yes, you may very well may be right. But it is also true that the Lord uses people to accomplish His will, and He wants us to be involved, prepared and ready to fight for Him and the Gospel.
