I recently saw a question regarding how Jesus could take our sins upon Him.

I must admit quite an intriguing question. I mean how could someone account for our sins without sinning?

In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:22 (NIV)

Jesus was required to die to cleanse our robes which were filthy with Sin.

Do you recall in the old testament that when sin was in the congregation a lamb had to be slain.

The lamb slain was a symbol of Christ to come who would be slain for the entire world.

Remember the lamb had to spotless and without blemish. Which is why Jesus living a sinless life was so important. He had to be without spot or blemish(sin).

It was by this that his blood was able to cover the sin of the entire world and why the lamb sacrifices were stopped.

There was no need for a symbol any longer the real lamb had come.

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! John 1:29

I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Kind Regards

Hello Tim,

After the message they got forgiveness for him by going to him, through baptism.
There was reluctance in going to him, by the Jews, because they do not like him.

That is not a Gentile issue though it is better for all people if we accept, peace with GOD, through him.
There is a lot going on.
His FULL identity is not really publicized.
Take care,

Hi Tim, and that He entered the city on lamb selection day, and they did not know. So many clues right there for them, and they did not know, because He did not save them in the way they wanted. Good post, thanks!
