Some say in a person's heart, others say in the heavens. What do you say or think?

Jesus said it's within us, and that's what I believe also.
If He had not said that, I would never have known where to look.

In us, and right now. Not just in days to come.

Nope, He said at that time among you...

Luk 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

First of all, in verse 20, to whom is He speaking? The Pharisees. What did He think of them?

Mat 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
Mat 23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
Mat 23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

Mat 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

Here He plainly says that the Pharisees were not entering and to make matters worse, they were preventing others from entering. Do you really think the Kingdom of God was within these guys?

From Thayers for the word "within"...

G1787
ἐντός
entos
Thayer Definition:
1) within, inside
1a) within you, i.e. in the midst of you
1b) within you, i.e. your soul
Part of Speech: preposition
A Related Word by Thayer’s/Strong’s Number: from G1722

Seeing to whom He was speaking and the fact that they were not entering, then the only meaning we can apply here is "in the midst of you".

Right there, in your heart. It is not physically located until the end of time. So do not look anywhere else search if it is in your heart, if not ask the Lord to be enthroned in RIGHT NOW!

Christ went to Heaven to obtain the Kingdom and to return...

Luk 19:11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.
Luk 19:12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

Joh 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Joh 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Good place here to read about the talents and about the wheat and tares...

Mat 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
Mat 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
Mat 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
Mat 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
Mat 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
Mat 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Notice when this occurs, at the end of the world (the Greek here is aion, means at the end of the age, not the end of time.). After the tares are burned in the Lake of Fire, then the righteous shine forth as the sun...

Mal 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Mal 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Mal 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

Dan 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Dan 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

The Kingdom of God is IN CHRIST JESUS here on earth. Remember this for Chrsit to be in you, YOU have to be IN HIM...So many people say they have the Holy Spirit (Christ Jesus) in them but they do nto realize that if He is in them, THEY have to be IN HIM. Look what Jesus says here....

That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

See all people in Christ Jesus is one in Him. And Jesus ends the prayer with... and I in them.

If Jesus is one in God and he is in us, and we in Them, do you see the COMPLETE one-ness... Now that is the Kingdom of God... ALL perfect and holy! COMPLETE! We enter into the Kingdom HERE ON EARTH!!!!The Day god gives us the Spirit of Jesus our spirit enters into the Kingdom, and the Kingdom into us, OUR FLESH. The Flesh will not enter the Kingdom, but the Kingdom will enter the flesh.... FOR A SHORT WHILE.... UP tp God to determine how long.

1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
1 John 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect,

those in love totally with Jesus word and his sheep are in the kingdom of love

The true ove of God and man is the passport to heaven.
Get your passport, he gives it only to those who plead and pray and plead and pray for it to fill us with his spirit of self-less love for others.
