Help !! Please tell me is this the Holy Spirit or not?

Hello everyone , Please take your time to read this.
I wanted to ask something. Okay i am an 18 year old guy struggling with life and sin and i truly accepted the Lord as my saviour.. Previous years i used to have a very deep and intimate relationship with Christ. But now sin had separated me from him. So now a days i am still trying so hard to stop following the world but to follow Christ only and keep praying to be filled with the Holy Spirit. So as these days gone by , something unsual from my inside soul is expressing to me that i need to stop using and following this earthly stuff but to read the bible and pray and follow God , as soon as this come , i said to myself that i must do it,but actually i could not do it. So this feeling or voice or i don't know come again second time and the same thing it talks to me and i the same thing talk to myself again as the previous. So i wanted to know is this small voice or feeling or very strong deep voice THE HOLY SPIRIT ? Is it convincing me or helping me or something ? What do you think???? God Bless You All:)

Hello ryll123 We are sinners even though we have Christ in us. and asking to be filled with holy Spirit while sinning. will be very tricky if not? impossible. Because you need to fully repent before you should consider asking to be filled with the Holy spirit. Take this for an example. Pour a glass of water half way. then fill with with oil. Now what happens? Oil either sinks to the bottom, or to the top. But will never ever mix. Think of that with your sinful body, with the Holy spirit. it will never mix. In order for you to be filled? Repent is your answer. God know we all sin, and fall away. but the good thing is, he is still there waiting for you. he can pick you up, and start your great journey again. all you have to do is, seek, ask, and knock, and he will be there.

I honestly don't think it is the Holy spirit. how ever I do think its your deepest concious thats speaking to you. as you know deep down you have sinned and is sinning to God, but at teh same time, your heart and concious wants to do what right. and I feel that God is using that, to pull you back into the fold again. Believe me you will know for sure if it was the Holy Spirit. Either way, God will not allow you to go too far away from him out of reach. He is calling you back. Listen to him, he has something for you and a path you must walk.

Also Find a moment to just pray. it don't have to be a huge long prayer. Just a pray that you mean. and ask for strength, wisdom, and read your bible for spiritual food. God bless.

Of course it's the holy spirit telling you to separate from the world's ways and study the bible and pray. The flesh is not inclined to do these things, but the spirit is. Make yourself do it!

Hello Sir,

As dear children of GOD,
we must not be in friction with GOD by disobeying his Teachings from his Aposltes
Many generations have been misled and destroyed without the Gifts from GOD.
Recently Jesus is restoring the truth that is for our times.

Jesus gives the Holy Spirit to those who obey him through his Apostles.
We must be baptized EXACLY as God wants us to:

Acts.2[38] Then Peter said unto them (the Israelites),
Repent (return to the God of Israel = Jesus),
and be baptized every one of you in (into/ calling on) the name of Jesus Christ
for the remission of sins,
and you shall receive (from Jesus) the gift of the Holy Ghost.


If you follow that instruction then you are in the Hands of Jesus.
Keep reading and following the Apostles' Doctrine
and praying to Jesus as your helper and Jesus will help you.

Baptizing oneself is an old Jewish custom so you may do it yourself.

well i suppose it does have scriptural meaning to it. as we are called to not be of the world, and Jesus said to the prostatute go and sin no more and reading the word always has its benefits. however i think you are freaking out to much, you said you had a close intimate relationship with him yes? well a bond like that cannot be easily broken, even sin has only a certain limit of power in this. you clearly have repented and are seeking God. I believe that this may be thr devil cleverly disguised as an angel of light because it is scriptural but it induces fear and anxiety. do you know what i think? i think you and God still have that intimate relationship as like i said a bond like that cannot easily be broken. and the devil tricks you by making you think you have lost that relationship because of sin. A relationship with God that is infused with love and intimacy is like a giant unbreakable fortress that does not fall easily

I don't know if it is. But if you ask, God will lead you to the Truth. You should stop whatever your doing right away. Life is to short to mess with trouble.
Repent of your sins and get into the Word. For example, think of the prophets God used.

He expected them to follow His word to the letter. When they didn't there were consequences for their actions . God will give you all the tools you need to build. But you need to do the building. Start by listening to God's advice, repent of your sins, and get into studying His Words.


Hope you figure this out sooner then later. Over time sin has a way of wearing people down . But God can lift you up, if, you listen to Him. It is something we all have to do.

Yes, its him, and thank God that he is taking the time to wake you up. Listen, Listen, Listen. Stop wondering and get on the soldier uniform get ready to fight we are in a battle for our lives....

Well thank you for taking time to read them, as many post a thread asking questions, then they don't bother to read the replies or respond to them. But there are people who ware willing to give good advise and give good points and comments to help you to make the right choice.
