So we have the supernatural orb appearing before Ezekiel with Father God and Cherubim as in Ezekiel 1:15-21.

We have seen the supernatural orb descending like a dove as in Mathews 3:16.

Also, hovering like the Spirit of God over the face of the waters as in Genesis 1:2.

And we have seen the supernatural orb bearing witness as the Spirit of truth, as it is written in John 5:6

and glorifying Christ as in John 16:13.

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not
(John 14:17)

i'm sorry, but the scripture clearly refutes what you say.

the world can see these dust ball photographs, therefore they are not the Spirit of God.

John 3:5-5-8 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said you, You must be born again. The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."

NKJV John 3:8 Scholastic Comment: Jesus used the wind as an illustration of the work of the Holy Spirit. The Greek word translated Spirit also means "wind". As the wind seemingly blows where it wills, so the Holy Spirit sovereignly works. Likewise, no one knows the origin of destination of the wind, but everyone knows it is there. The same is true of the Holy Spirit.

With the naked eye, a person can not tell where the orb comes from or where the orb goes.

all of your photographs are dust, and all of your arguments support helicopters more than flash photography in dusty environs.

did you learn anything about the indwelling of the Spirit in the last few days?

NKJV scholastic comment: Neither sees Him nor knows Him does not mean merely that the world is not able to visually identify the Holy Spirit because He is spirit. Something more is meant. The Spirit of God is active in the world, but His acts go unnoticed by the world.

The Holy Spirit was seen descending upon Jesus during the Lords baptism.

Mathew 3:16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.

I have visually identified the Holy Spirit for you.

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

"Blessed Holy Spirit, do Thy work of convincing among these who hear today, that they may look to Christ and live!"

i guess cameras are the only true mediator between God and man, since that's how we can literally see God.

i know there is only one way in which to see God.

but i own several cameras - does anyone know if i should use one of the Brownies, the Pressman, the small Canon or the larger one, the Minolta, the Olympus, or one of my phones?

by which one of these can i see God?

What is meant by all this? Just how is it that the Holy Spirit is within us?
did you learn anything about this in the last few days?

can your photographs and 'artist's renderings' teach us anything about this?

i think this is probably a much more important direction to take the thread, if this is true:

This is probably the best thread on the Holy Spirit that this forum has ever seen.

To have the Spirit of Christ in you is to be like that of Christ. To be a good disciple, etc. This would be the most simplistic understanding.

did Christ show us the kingdom of God with photographs and paintings?
or with His life, His speech, His actions and His righteousness?

Christ didn't pluck some gobs of omnipresent Holy Spirit out of the air and stuff it into His disciples :)

Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them,
Peace be unto you.
And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. Then said Jesus to them again,
Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them,
Receive ye the Holy Ghost
(John 20:19-22)

flesh gives birth to flesh, and spirit gives birth to spirit (John 3:6). images are made of dust, are images of dust, and give birth to dust. no matter what i point my camera at, it's made of dust, and it can see nothing but the reflection of light off of dust. in it's essence, every photograph is exactly that: an image made from dust of light reflected off dust.

Christ wasn't transferring dust to His disciples, nor anything of this world. His kingdom is not of this world - and you can no more photograph it than you can find it on a map of the earth or photograph a dream.

Good afternoon, notforgotten,

Here is the question I would pose to you, so what if you are right? Does anyone escape hell? Is anyone healed? Is any injustice redressed? Is there peace and joy in this? Where would you go with this? What is the practical use of this? It seems kinda pointless to me..............

It has potential in many areas. The greatest is probably in Evangelism. This is evidence of god, the third person of the Holy Trinities existence. There is no greater evidence to the Holy Spirit's existence than this. This solves the mystery of Ezekiel's wheels. This proves scripture, the word of God and the Gospel to be true. This has great potential to help draw people to Christ. It helps us understand God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and scripture better. The potential of this leans toward the reality of the Holy Spirit becoming common knowledge in homes across America and throughout the world.

It's potential is great, but there will probably be only a few people to see the truth.

Ok so after reading some of this thread now I'm wondering.
Should we be getting baptized in a bubble bath to be sure to cover both our bases?

Do you think it is wise to mock the Holy Spirit? Just because you do not know what you do, doesn't mean that you are not doing it. Those crucifying Christ did not know He was the Son of God nor the Messiah. Here history repeats itself with the Holy Spirit. You do not recognize Him and His image you reject. You do not know what you do, may God forgive you.

The Holy Spirit is highly misunderstood in the world today, as is the supernatural orb. Christians should see and understand this.

now you're starting to sound like everyone else that's posted in this thread :D

the 'supernatural orb' isn't misunderstood. it's pretty well demonstrated as being the reflection of camera flash off tiny dust particles.
