It is well known that the Lord's Prayer concludes with this phrase: For Thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory. (Matthew 6:13)

Ultimately, we should acknowledge that all earthly kingdoms, power and glory will yield to Christ's greater kingdom, power, and glory.

David expressed a similar sentiment around 1000 years earlier:

"Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever. Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all." (1 Chronicles 29:10-11)

It can be said that "Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory" is another one of many phrases found in the Old Testament and re-applied in the New Testament.

Im sure there are many understandings of the Lord's prayer. Here is a little of mine....

In order to reap of the spirit to receive Power or Glory....by the Lord Power must be sown in weakness and Glory sown in Dishonour. Death of that part of your spirit must occur and raised a new spirit. Then those must be delivered up to God to receive of his Kingdom.
I like to practice using the story of eden and cain and abel in the kjv.
