The relentless lack of love from certain CC members who say me must follow the law and forget to love others is damaging.

To CC administrators I would suggest you look upon this behavior as teaching against Christ.

It pushes believers away. I personally am taking a break from CC, may or may not be back. I find no love or fellowship from users like 2TheWaters who has continually shown hate to one of our young sisters in Christ. Other members will not call him out on his mistreating a young child of God.
I have tried and am told I disobey God's Word.

As long as members who mistreat children in the way he does are active and continue spreading hate by actions and I've by words, this site is only affective for young people who hang out in the safety of light threads and the singles forum.

To those who keep the law carry on... It must be working for you... To those who hold to Christ's love do not be weary, the law keepers make children feel unwelcome. I think your answers to who is righteous is right there.

As for me I am sinful, I take full blame for the lack of love in this letter... It is on me and no one else.

God bless and I love you all even those who live in complete utter sin and disobedience to Christ,
lexi

Nothing too new. That behavior existed long before CC.

Galatians 4:28-31 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

I don't know if you're still online, alexis, but we need you here. That is what matters. We are called to be light in the darkness and overcome those that would spread hurtful lies and destroy others. If we allow hateful people to chase us out of here, they will be able to spread their hate, judgment, lies and false doctrine unchecked, and the damage would be far worse. Ultimately, the choice is yours alone, but I truly hope you remain to help us spread the truth, love and light of Christ and to help us stay on the path as well. :)

You are not understanding what the law keepers are saying! The movement in the churches today are reflecting what the world has become as part of the last days, and law keepers are working as hard as they can for God's people to know all of God. That means that the law is love, we are under grace not our own ability to achieve salvation, God can't live with sin, Christ forgives, we are to obey, every single bit of what God says. We say it is not right to toss out any part of God's word, and we are working as hard as we can for the church to accept all of God.

You say it pushes believers away to say that God wants us to be disciplined, but your parents who love you do the same and it isn't to push you away.

This site takes a very adult approach, for not all understand God's word who post here. If a poster attacks someone personally, from that we can know that poster is not of God, we can know those of God by their love. But there are posters who attack a wrong idea someone has, there is a difference.

You have done so very well, everyone is impressed. Your mind is only fifteen years old, and you are right, it has some of the child in it. It is amazing how much of the adult there is in it, too, and how you listen to the God in you.

I keep the law.... It pushes us away when men like 2TheWaters and others refuse to answer what law we are supposed to keep.

I will say this as clearly as possible

Buckets asked what law. The entire laws in the Torah or just The Ten Commandments?

None of the law keepers answer her!
but two of them tell her she needs to read her Bible and act like she is bad for asking what law they are saying to keep.
its a simple question but everyone who keeps the law and forgets about Christ's commandment to love refuses to answer it.
i have no idea why I am writing this....

My response will be we love Jesus just keep the law too...
which law? That's the question.... It's simple do you mean keep The Ten Commandments?
Or do you mean make sacrifices and all the clean unclean laws and all that stuff from the Torah?

She has been mistreated over that question.. Really this whole thing is pointless
if the great righteous law keepers can't tell a child what laws to keep they obviously aren't keeping them either

I really can't deal with this anymore... The question is simple answer it or don't but don't lecture me with scripture. I frankly see you all as lost sinners and could care less what you think.

Good news however... Jesus loves you! Regardless of how foolish I think you law keepers are

If I don't get banned for calling out this sinful liers and hypocrites I'm sticking around
thank you for the love and support

I am going to go pray for a while before I say something really displeasing to Christ.

How they can claim to keep all the OT laws but refuse to keep Christ's commandment to love is beyond me!

CC has always been full of heretics. When I started here it was the super crazy pentecostal charismatic types that ran the place. It goes in cycles. CC for a lot of people is their personal propoganda mill.

Yes. It's pretty amazing. You have one group that pounds the law without the love and another group that says it's all about love and you can basically live however you want and it matters not, and then you have those that say, "Well, you must obey and serve God and you must love." So, it is a difficult thing to follow.

One side essentially says that no one is going to heaven because we can never keep the law. The other side says that everyone is going to heaven because we can never keep the law. And the middle says that Christ is love and those who know Him and love Him will keep His commandments and will show their love by loving each other and those who have Him as their Lord and Savior will make heaven their home.

:) I've gotten into some heated arguments here. It is good to have others that can take the hits, too. There are some folks on here that I literally light up when I see a thread by them or posts by them and others I add to my ignore list or just avoid entirely. :) You're one of the ones that I look forward to seeing threads and posts from. You are very godly and wise. I wish I was as devoted and wise when I was 15. :)

If you must take a break, do think about coming back. You are too much of a blessing to be gone long.

RedTent is not a law keeper in the traditional sense.

Do not let a few clanging cymbals rob you of your joy

1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

1 Timothy 1:8
We know that the law is good if one uses it properly.

Romans 7:12
So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good.

I think we should be careful about using evangelical cliches that bad mouth the law beyond what scripture teaches.

The law is the new nature written on our hearts thru the rebirth and it reflects God' s nature which is love, peaceful, joyful, meek, patient, thankful...etc.
Some rather focus on the externals not realizing it's God working in us.

Excellent point. I personally do not want anyone that disagrees with me silenced. Please come ahead full bore. That is how we learn by the exchange of ideas.

John 1:4
In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

John 1:14
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 1:17
For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Romans 6:14
For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

John 10:9
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

Romans 7:4
So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.

2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Galatians 2:4
This matter arose because some false believers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves.

Galatians 5:1
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
