I would like to get some thoughts as to what Jesus means here.

Mat 12:47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
Mat 12:48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
Mat 12:49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
Mat 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

The fleshly relationships are merely shadow. It is the spiritual relationship that is the greater reality. Jesus true family is comprised of those who belong to God .

Mary the mother of Jesus was Jesus mother.
Joseph the betrothed was Jesus step father
Those who believe there is no evolution, that God created the world in 6 days, that God gave us his son to pay our sins penalty, that We should not take the mark of the Beast and who have the testimony of Jesus and keep the commandments and teach men so are his brothers and sisters.

Not fishing for Catholics. Trying to see how the verse relates to this verse.

Revelation: 12. 5. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

He explained what He meant in verse 50 .

Matthew 12:50 "For whosoever shall do the will of My Father Which is in heaven, the same is My brother, and sister, and mother."

I look at it like this, Jesus said you would gain brothers, sisters, mothers etc. for standing on the truth that causes you to loose family and friends. In the church you have brothers and sisters (those around your age and younger) mothers and grandmothers (those women that are elderly, motherly etc.) Notice he does not say fathers in that context as it is obvious that He had one Father and that was the Heavenly Father.

Is Jesus mother the body of believers, because it seems to me that's what Jesus is saying.
Jesus said my mother brothers and sisters...not mother only. So if you're suggesting that Jesus bride is His earthly and fleshly mother that is not correct.

I love this testimony, Mary was actually trying to come to Jesus as his mother. She was name dropping so to speak. She gets to the crowd and can not come in because it was full. Tell Jesus his Mother is here. And this is where he let her know she needed God and He was her God. She would not get beneficial treatment in regard to Heaven because she gave birth to him. Jesus told her right here that those who obey the Father get in. So deep.

Nothing against any specific religion but most do not know this one at all

Luke 11:27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things,
a certain woman of the company
lifted up her voice,
and said unto him,

Luke 11:27
Blessed is the womb
that bare thee,
and the paps
which thou hast sucked.

Luke 11:28
But he (JESUS) said,
NAY, BUT rather,
blessed are they that hear
the word of God, and keep it.

So we have the first ever religion praising Mary,
and Jesus turns to her and says

No, but bless all who keep the word of God commandments!

The church will go through birthing pains and deliver the man child. What exact scripture in Rev.?
