The Bible gives no indication that God has replaced Israel with the Church, YET, most Christian denominations, schools, pastors, scholars, etc., continue to foist that very LIE upon their students and listeners.

In this study, we will see that Israel clearly has NOT been replaced by any denomination or the "universal body of Christ" and that Israel still has an important part to play in these end time events about to take place on planet earth.

God's will shall be done!

The Scripture clearly teaches that it is Israel (Jacob) that goes through the time of Jacob's trouble. The time of Jacob's trouble is not for the Church (Body of Christ). It is for Jacob (Israel).

Rom 9:6 But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel,
Rom 9:7 and not all are children of Abraham because they are his offspring, but "Through Isaac shall your offspring be named."
Rom 9:8 This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as offspring.

Gal 3:29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.

The gentiles were GRAFTED into Israel.

Romans 11

13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.
15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

New Covenant Israel (God's Church) did not replace Old Covenant Israel (the church in the wilderness)
But it was raised up on the foundation of the faithful of Old Covenant Israel,
As it was made obsolete by 70ad.
Old Covenant Israel does not exist any more upon the face of this earth.

In the Church Age, we (the Church) are God's spiritual people. There is no Jew or Gentile in the Body of Christ:

Those who are united with Christ are the true Israel of God. Only by heart circumcision through faith does one become Abraham's offspring and heir of the promise.

Yes Sarah, the Gentiles have been grafted in. So, in a way, we are spiritual descendants of Abraham, but that does not make us descendants of Jacob. We partake in the spiritual blessings which come through Israel.


In the Body of Christ, both saved Jews and saved Gentiles are spiritual brethren. And both are Abraham's seed, since they are both in Christ.


But again Sarah, just because we Gentiles have been grafted in, and are Abraham's seed by faith in Jesus Christ. That still does not make us the New Israel Sarah. Only those who are from Jacob's seed are physical and National Israel.
