Though biblically not written in the Bible, rabbi yitzak predicted that the Messiah will come shortly after the death of Ariel Sharon.
Today Ariel sharon suffers from kidney failure and his health continue to deteriorate.

What do you think of the prophecy about him?

FYI, that is where the New Testament got it, from the Tanakh, Old Testament.

Matt 24:23"Then if anyone says to you, 'Behold, here is the Christ,' or 'There He is,' do not believe him. 24"For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.…

Really? No problem, as soon as you get the chapter and verse where the Rabbi got "the second coming based on some old politicians death" from the New Testament as you claimed.

It was and FYI, not an attack on you.

Is this a "Who's on 1st" thread?

I can't remember such silliness about something that is not biblically written in the Bible. (whatever that means)

I never said anything about rabbis getting anything from the new testament. Readin comprehension is fantastic. Okay so rabbis...you like leaders in the jewish faith...a jewish faith that doesnt believe Jesus was the messiah. Why would give one ounce of consideration to their prophecies of the messiah coming?

We already have a whole New Testament(which they dont believe) that tells about the messiah.

Hence any prophecies they make would be a joke at best.

Ariel Sharon's demise will only be a sign of the end times if he returns to office. No, that is not intended to be a joke. May our Father bless those he has left behind with understanding, love and Salvation in Yeshua, amen. (previously posted in wrong thread.)

If Sharon's death is a sign of the times then so was his birth, because men live for at most a century and some change.

Was the prophecy put out then? If not, why not?

It just feels wrong to be debating about this as he is dying. He is a person, and there are people who love him. If he were my relative, I would be greatly offended right now.

  1. [h=3]The prophecy about Ariel Sharon I heard was based on Isaiah 29. This is the only place in all of God's word that Jerusalem is called Ariel.

    Isaiah 29[/h]
29 “Woe to Ariel,[SUP][a][/SUP] to Ariel, the city where David dwelt!
Add year to year;
Let feasts come around.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Yet I will distress Ariel;
There shall be heaviness and sorrow,
And it shall be to Me as Ariel.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]I will encamp against you all around,
I will lay siege against you with a mound,
And I will raise siegeworks against you.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]You shall be brought down,
You shall speak out of the ground;
Your speech shall be low, out of the dust;
Your voice shall be like a medium’s, out of the ground;
And your speech shall whisper out of the dust.

[SUP]5 [/SUP]“Moreover the multitude of your foes
Shall be like fine dust,
And the multitude of the terrible ones
Like chaff that passes away;
Yes, it shall be in an instant, suddenly.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]You will be punished by the Lord of hosts
With thunder and earthquake and great noise,
With storm and tempest
And the flame of devouring fire.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]The multitude of all the nations who fight against Ariel,
Even all who fight against her and her fortress,
And distress her,
Shall be as a dream of a night vision.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]It shall even be as when a hungry man dreams,
And look—he eats;
But he awakes, and his soul is still empty;
Or as when a thirsty man dreams,
And look—he drinks;
But he awakes, and indeed he is faint,
And his soul still craves:
So the multitude of all the nations shall be,
Who fight against Mount Zion.”

[h=3]The Blindness of Disobedience[/h][SUP]9 [/SUP]Pause and wonder!
Blind yourselves and be blind!
They are drunk, but not with wine;
They stagger, but not with intoxicating drink.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]For the Lord has poured out on you
The spirit of deep sleep,
And has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets;
And He has covered your heads, namely, the seers.

[SUP]11 [/SUP]The whole vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is literate, saying, “Read this, please.”
And he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed.”
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Then the book is delivered to one who is illiterate, saying, “Read this, please.”
And he says, “I am not literate.”
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Therefore the Lord said:
“Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths
And honor Me with their lips,
But have removed their hearts far from Me,
And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work
Among this people,
A marvelous work and a wonder;
For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish,
And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”

[SUP]15 [/SUP]Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord,
And their works are in the dark;
They say, “Who sees us?” and, “Who knows us?”
[SUP]16 [/SUP]Surely you have things turned around!
Shall the potter be esteemed as the clay;
For shall the thing made say of him who made it,
“He did not make me”?
Or shall the thing formed say of him who formed it,
“He has no understanding”?

[h=3]Future Recovery of Wisdom[/h][SUP]17 [/SUP]Is it not yet a very little while
Till Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field,
And the fruitful field be esteemed as a forest?
[SUP]18 [/SUP]In that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book,
And the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity and out of darkness.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]The humble also shall increase their joy in the Lord,
And the poor among men shall rejoice
In the Holy One of Israel.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]For the terrible one is brought to nothing,
The scornful one is consumed,
And all who watch for iniquity are cut off—
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Who make a man an offender by a word,
And lay a snare for him who reproves in the gate,
And turn aside the just by empty words.

[SUP]22 [/SUP]Therefore thus says the Lord, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob:
“Jacob shall not now be ashamed,
Nor shall his face now grow pale;
[SUP]23 [/SUP]But when he sees his children,
The work of My hands, in his midst,
They will hallow My name,
And hallow the Holy One of Jacob,
And fear the God of Israel.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]These also who erred in spirit will come to understanding,
And those who complained will learn doctrine.”

Sorry for the grammar:

the topic intent is to know/share personal thought as to the prediction of the rabbi regarding the coming of Jesus after Ariel Sharon death.
Though such prediction was not biblical or (not written in the bible)

The predictions of the Messiah coming are from the Old Testament. Predictions of the second coming, which is not what was said, would be from the New Testament and the Quran.

We already have a whole New Testament(which they dont believe) that tells about the messiah.

Hence any prophecies they make would be a joke at best.
End time Prophesies begin, like the prophecy of the coming of the Messiah, in what you call the Old Testament.

As a Christian, I would like to remind you that you will answer on Judgement day for every word you speak.

Good Luck.

This rabbi is late to the party, because the Messiah has already come the first time and his name is Jesus Christ.
Who should I believe? Some Jewish teacher or the Creator of the universe and what he reveals to us through his Word (the Bible?) I'm going to go with God's revelation. Sorry, rabbit.

Actually Israel conception and thriving as a nation after being dispersed for over a thousand years is more a sign of the times and evidence of God. From now on, the near destruction of Israel will trigger the second coming. That's why He is called the rose of Sharon.

Shall I make a nation in one day? He did that in 1948 its called Israel.
