Tithing, unity and stewardship - have been called for since the beginning of biblical teachings then reaffirmed by the teachings of Yeshua to his disciples. The blind trust we are expected to place in the teachings of today’s and yesteryear’s pulpits has distorted these tenets and how we see Yhvh. I find it easy to understand how unity has become scattered, tithe mixed with offerings - narrowed to only the giving of money to church leaders or programs and good stewardship equated to the ends justifying the means. Who we see Yhvh as being, in his heart, has been distorted into a complete blur, making it impossible to truly choose Yhvh as our friend.
Of the greatest blurring of the heart of Yhvh, is brought to light when Jeremiah warned us the scribes were writing lies in their transcribing of the Torah; not something we often hear preached from the pulpit. Are we to be as the Hebrews in following after our own ways, worshiping the god of our own hearts, denying the words of the Bible that point out the corruption installed by man?
Jer 23:26-27
Is there anything in the hearts of the prophets who prophesy falsehood, even these prophets of the deception of their own heart, who intend to make My people forget My name by their dreams which they relate to one another, just as their fathers forgot My name because of Baal?
What the Word does, is warn us of these distortions and give us direction to sort man from the word of Adonai.
Jeremiah 28:8-9
"The prophets who were before me and before you from ancient times prophesied against many lands and against great kingdoms, of war and of calamity and of pestilence. "The prophet who prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet comes to pass, then that prophet will be known as one whom the LORD has truly sent." NASU

This is supported in many places such as when Yeshua points out man's willingness to teach man-made rules as if they were the doctrine of Almighty God;
Mark 7:7-8
But in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of man. "Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men."

This demonstrates the willingness of the Jewish hierarchy to pervert the words of Adonai to meet their needs. This is just as common today as it was then. We also see direct evidence of this with Moses’ declaration of why he sent spies into the Promised Land. In Numbers 13:1,2 the Bible states the Lord told Moses to send out spies to test the land of their inheritance. Then in Deuteronomy 1:22 Moses makes it clear that it was the Israelites who called for the spies to be sent, admitting it just sounded good to his own ears.
Many similar examples exist throughout the Old Testament, lending to a fuller understanding of the evil in man’s heart and how self-serving the scribes were in their copying of the Torah. Yeshua demonstrates how even the greatest men of the bible faltered when He tells Israel: “Moses gave you the decree of divorce for your hardness of heart but from the beginning it has not been so.”
Mark 10:5-9
Because of your hardness of heart he wrote you this commandment. "But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female. for this reason a man shall leave his mother and father, and the two shall become one flesh; so they are no longer two, but one flesh. "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."

Proving Moses had failed to keep Yhvh’s name holy by saying “God said” when it truly came from the heart of a man.
If faltering was true with Moses’ actions, how much more so with the rest of mankind?
Throughout history man has perverted Yhvh’s words not just to control man, but also in an attempt to ‘help’ Yhvh express what the scribes thought Yhvh was really trying to say or one of a plethora of similar reasons.
We falter claiming the Bible is the verbatim or inherent word of Yhvh as the statement is in itself, direct contrast to the verses themselves and therefore in contrast to Yhvh’s words. The only thing in the bible that is inherent is Yeshua and even the bible tells us that the bible is the inspired word of Yhvh.
2 Tim 3:15-17
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

Definition of "inspired" - based on a particular motive or example
Definition of "adequate" - enough, sufficient in quality or quantity to meet a need or qualify for something, just barely enough
“Inspired words” are defined by traditionalists as inherent and inerrant, the absolute quote and factually verbatim words of Yhvh. But the word inspired, by definition, leaves room for interpretation, conclusions and self-inspired input. This allows for the circumstances of life and the personality of the one inspired, to be undeniable influences on the recorded messages. Look at Jeremiah, anger and destruction accompanied his words of warning; yet by his own words, it is only the prophet who gave a message of peace who would test as true! (Jeremiah 28:8-9) Understanding the influencing factors is important so the reader can recognize the places in the Word that lead to confusion.
It is possible to sort man from Yhvh’s word enough to look at the heart of Abba Yhvh for who He is, rather than who man would have Him. We are adamant in telling everyone that Yhvh speaks to each of us in whatever way it takes for us to know our calling. Yet we refuse to consider how Yhvh spoke to men in the past, conveying His message as a concept they could comprehend, or even how man has tried through the ages to justify what he did not know, understand or agree with. All things considered, the misinterpretations, and so called contradictions, become greatly simplified.
To further show the Bible is the inspired word of Yhvh, these verses will give a better understanding of why the bible tells us to discern the words within, not follow them blindly.
Prov 1:2-3
To know wisdom and instruction, To discern the sayings of understanding, to receive instruction in wise behavior, NASB
Proverbs 14:7-8
Leave the presence of a fool, or you will not discern words of knowledge.
The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way, but the folly of fools is deceit. NASB

Is the bible not a book that teaches us how to understand who Yhvh is through the discerning of what’s written within?
Psalms 19:12
Who can discern (his) errors? Clear thou me from hidden (faults).
ASV

If no man can discern his own errors, how then can man know correct behavior without Almighty God and the study of who Yhvh is?
Proverbs 1:7
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction.

As we know that wisdom and instruction come from the word, it is a fool that casts the word aside without study or fails to have a deep respect (fear) of the Lord. What is preached from today's pulpit is: study the Word that you might fear the Lord and grow in Him. Yet the Word teaches that we are to find our respect for the Lord and refine it through what we discern from the Word.
The following warning is to Church leaders who get caught up in trusting their traditional instruction of Yhvh's ways, rather than Yhvh Himself.
Ezekiel 22:26
Her priests have done violence to my law, and have profaned my holy things: they have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they caused men to discern between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. ASV

Here is another warning to those who give instruction to man about who Yhvh is, telling them to start over as babes knowing nothing.
Hebrews 5:12-14
For when by reason of the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need again that some one teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food. ASV

In conclusion, we have no wisdom unless we have gained that wisdom by hearing it from our Lord and then testing ‘revelations’ through studying the inspired recordings of Yhvh, carefully testing them to discern man’s corruption from the inspiration of Yhvh.
To share the truth of what I know about the interpretation of the information sent to us by Yhvh concerning the mysteries we ponder buried under the fog of traditions and misdirection is my calling. I am called so man might more clearly see and understand the heart and mind of Yhvh. During this awakening you will see the power of unity and the curse or reward of bad or good stewardship and the first step of trust. I will show you the process the Word tells us to follow and the reasons we must adhere to an understanding of how the governing of our stewardship's control our ability to receive Yhvh’s blessings.
