So what is Jesus saying in the model prayer?

God does not lead us into temptation, But its request that he does not allow us to be lead by the devil, when we are weak, we need to be strong in God, so that we are not lead by the devils evil darts of temptation.

Maybe try asking God for help of understanding. like it says in Matthew 7: 7. Instead of replying on people who Don't fully understand the Bible themselves.

We are asked by God to help our brother with love! As a newborn baby in Christ in my teens, I had no one but scripture to go to, and oh, how I needed someone to talk it out with.

Our church always says "we will pray about it" when someone asks for help. I need someone to help me with a homeless person we took in our home, she is trying to grow in the Lord and needs more people to hold her hand than just us. I have searched our town, and finally found an organization that will help her, but absolutely no personal help in our town of 79,000 people.
