Yes WomanLovesTX, but what you perceive as "one of the Sabbaths" is referred to by the Bible writers as "the first of Sabbaths." They called it "first" because it was the chief, (i.e., first in rank) of the Sabbaths mentioned. The day clung to by non-believers among 1st century Jews was also referred to as "the Sabbath" by Bible writers, but it did not have the rank of"first." The bottom line here is that two Sabbaths are mentioned but one only has the rank of "first." Again, there is a reason why the the early church fathers also, held their common assembly on Sunday, on "the first of Sabbaths." They were following the example of the apostles.

Yes WomanLovesTX, but what you perceive as "one of the Sabbaths" is referred to by the Bible writers as "the first of Sabbaths." They called it "first" because it was the chief, (i.e., first in rank) of the Sabbaths mentioned. The day clung to by non-believers among 1st century Jews was also referred to as "the Sabbath" by Bible writers, but it did not have the rank of "first." The bottom line here is that two Sabbaths are mentioned but one only has the rank of "first." Again, there is a reason why the the early church fathers also, held their common assembly on Sunday, on "the first of Sabbaths." They were following the example of the apostles.
I totally disagree with your explanation. I am not going to try to reason with you because I can see my thorough explanation just went right over you and not understood.

Do you know God's calendar? Do you know and understand Leviticus 23? Most of the New Testament can be understood what is written in the front half of the book.

This is totally false
false interpretation by sunday keeping king kames translators

it is actually the first day after the Sabbath.

Sorry to cancell your attempt at making sunday theory...

but your theory doesnt stand anyway since Paul:

(Acts 1:12 KJV) Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

(Acts 13:14 KJV) But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.

(Acts 13:27 KJV) For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

(Acts 13:42 KJV) And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

(Acts 13:44 KJV) And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

(Acts 15:21 KJV) For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

(Acts 16:13 KJV) And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

(Acts 17:2 KJV) And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

(Acts 18:4 KJV) And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

(Col 2:16 KJV) Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

Nope, not even close. The first of the Sabbaths is this...

Lev 23:15 'And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed.
Lev 23:16 Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the LORD.

The first of the Sabbaths is the first Sabbath after the Wavesheaf during Unleavened Bread. It is the first of seven Sabbaths in the count from the Wave Sheaf to Pentecost.

They boastfully admit it:

“Sunday is our mark or authority...the church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.” Catholic Record of London, Ontario, September 1, 1923.

“Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change (Saturday Sabbath to Sunday) was her act...And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical authority in religious things.” H.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons

“Protestants...accept Sunday rather than Saturday as the day for public worship after the Catholic Church made the change...But the Protestant mind does not seem to realize that...In observing the Sunday, they are accepting the authority of the spokesman for the church, the Pope.” Our Sunday Visitor, February 15, 1950.

Council of Laodicea (4th Century) Canon 29

"Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day, rather honouring the Lord's Day; and, if they can, resting then as Christians. But if any shall be found to be judaizers, let them be anathema from Christ."
Amen Hizikyah,

It's apparent you've done your research.
I've read other writing that say if you don't keep the biblical sabbath then by default you follow them.
As Sunday was never kept in observance before them and it's a mark and seal of their authority.

It's very well documented.

Amen Hizikyah,

I've read other writing that say if you don't keep the biblical sabbath then by default you follow them.
As Sunday was never kept in observance before them and it's a mark and seal of their authority.

Scriptually speaking the 7th days Sabbath ordained by Yahweh is the mark of Yahweh:

Ezekiel 20:12, "Moreover, I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am Yahweh Who sanctifies them."

*Sign is Word #226, Hebrew Dictionary, Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, meaning mark, token, sign, consent, flag, evidence of consent.

Exodus 31:13-17, "Speak also to the children of Israyl, saying; Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for they are a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am Yahweh Who sanctifies you, and makes you holy"....16-17, "Therefore the children of Israyl shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and the children of Israyl forever, for in six days Yahweh made the heavens and the earth, and on the Seventh Day He rested and was refreshed."

*Sign is Word #226, Hebrew Dictionary, Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, meaning mark, token, sign, consent, flag, evidence of consent.

Isayah 56, Ex 12 and Num 15 all say the Law and Sabbath is for Hebrew and gentile alike.

Romans 9:6-8, "However, it is not as though Yahweh's plan had failed. For it is not everyone who is a descendant of Israyl who belongs to Israyl. Nor, just because they are his descendants, are they all Abraham's children; but: In Isaac will your seed be called. That is, it is not those who are the children of the flesh who are Yahweh's children; but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham's seed."

This is what I see in the multitude of law vs. grace, law is abolished, “juaizers’”, Sabbath, laws we need to keep now, circumcision, etc. posts on the many threads dealing with those subjects as well as other threads where an argument of such can be slipped in and derail an otherwise edifying thread, is always repeating the same arguments against the value and purpose of the Old Testament law over and over, a dreadful misunderstanding of what it means to be in Covenant with God, and willful misinterpretation of other’s posts by not thoroughly reading what they say or just plain loving to argue.

There is a verse that illustrates this situation and describes these people. It is:
[h=1]2 Timothy 3:7 (NAS) “always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”[/h](CJB – the version condemned by those who consider the law abolished) “ who are always learning but never able to come to full knowledge of the truth.”
(And the old standby KJV) “ Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

So regardless of which translation you prefer, it isn’t a complimentary picture of those individuals.

To add to that:

The covenant in Messiah blood literally writes the TORAH on ones heart: (how could it be on ones heart if they reject it?)

Yeremyah 31:33, "After those days, says Yahweh: I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; minds, and I will be their Father, and they will be My people."

8451. torah - torah: direction, instruction, law Original Word: תּוֹרָה Part of Speech: Noun Feminine Transliteration: torah
Phonetic Spelling: (to-raw') Short Definition: law

Paul was a Sabbath keeper after Jesus went to heaven
John the last of the disciples was a Sabbath keeper
Sabbath covenant alliance with God will never be cancelled
Sabbath is the alliance contract with the Eternal creator

You want to cancel your contract, go ahead.
I will keep mine.

Deuteronomy 10:12-13, "And now, O Israyl, what does Yahweh your Father require of you, but to reverence Yahweh your Father by walking in all His ways, by loving Him, by serving Yahweh your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul. By keeping the Laws of Yahweh, with His statutes, which I command you this day, so that you may be blessed?"

1 Yahchanan 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yahweh: When we love Yahweh by keeping His Laws. For this is the love of Yahweh: That we keep His Law, and His Law is not grievous."

Nathan, there is only one Command that is about time and Law...

Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

None of the other Commandments have a time intrinsic to them, only the fourth one...
The feasts of the LORD are also set times.

I thank my Father in Heaven for His gifts, and provisions. How loving and kind He is, with mercy and forgiveness. Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you! Sabbath is a special provision, for rest and to drawn nearer to Yah Almighty, the Creator of the universe and everything in it. Praise the Name of YAHWEY forever!!

Still seeking explanations of Daniyl 7:25:

I have a question for all that say Sabbath is now for any reason not the 7th day of the week, that it should not be physically kept, or if you believe there has been any change in it in any way since Messiah kept it:

please tell me what this verse is then, because without a explanation other than what I believe I can not think Sabbath has been changed. (ps Sabbath has not been changed, but for being open I ask this)

Daniel 7:25, "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time"

For anyone who has given their life over to Christ, there can be no question about keeping the Sabbath.

If you gather every reason any person gives not to, there is not one that says not to do it. People give reasons not to that sound more like whining about how holy and righteous they are every day so they don't have to.

God the Father started it, and Christ said He never went against the Father, ever. He replaced some things that His Father set up, but the things Christ replaced had the same function. If Christ replaced the Sabbath it would have to be that now Christ worked six day and blessed the seventh for our sakes.

The Father ordered that being He led the way for us, The Father created the earth and us in six days, the seventh is set aside as a day He blessed for us. He told us to do our work in six days, like He did, work for ourselves. Then sit to one side and in His blessings and care for one day. Christ told us some more of how we were to do that. It is to be more of a spirit of consciously depending entirely on God's care ahead of our own striving, and we aren't to forget God principles of love and caring for others that day.

What is opposed to this is just not following Christ.

If we stick to Scripture it is all very easy to understand.
