Do you believe that we can still lay hands on the sick and they still recover do you believe we can cast out devils and speak in tongues and drink and nothing will hurt us that is deadly or poisness ??

Now i want to specify i am not saying seek these signs wonders in miracles it says clearly that they will follow the believe which tells me it is suppose to be a natural part of our walk with Yeshua Hamasiach so do you believe and if not tell me where it says that it has ceased in the Bible thank you!!!

Hi there SOE, I believe in miracles. But at the same time I believe what the Bible says and teaches about the sign gifts. And the sign gifts mentioned in Mark 16:17-18 were given to the Jewish apostles and their converts to confirm the word to Israel with signs following.

And since God is not dealing with the Nation of Israel in this Dispensation, the Sign Gifts are not active.

The Biblical Sign Gifts will come back though in the time of Jacob's trouble since God will be dealing with the Nation of Israel again once the Body of Christ is taken from the Earth at the Rapture.

This is not true because in Acts it talks about the same way the Holy Ghost fell on them it fell on the Gentiles when peter preached to them
also the Bible talks about the Demonstration of the Kingdom through power why is the church so powerless and does not impact the world because they believe in the word of God but they do not demonstrate it and that is a sad thing

I have seen legs grow out people i have prayed for i have seen tumors dissolve i have seen cancer healed over night bones come back into place nees healed after 8 years of being in a condition backs healed i have seen all these things and prayed for alot of them so you cannot tell me that signs wonders and miracles are not for today and if so tell me where in the Bible it says signs wonders and miracles ceased or the demonstration of the Kingdom stopped?? id like to see it

Why wasn't Paul healed of his thorn? Sure, I have seen healing, I have prayed for healing and seen God do it, in fact a friend of mine just received healing, we'd been praying about --- they are whatever God does, and He get's glory and men praise His name - So in my flesh shall I go expect God to go heal - read Joshua and the defeat at AI - he went based off assumptions of God's work

my friend you must understand that not everyone is able to heal or perform miracles. it is not as simple as going out there and doing healings and performing miracles, you have been given a gift to touch and heal or pray for it and God does it. however not everyone is able to, just like how somethings come naturally to ppl than others so do the gifts of God. personally i may one day be able to do these things but it is something that does not come easy to me even though i have the required faith.

Well brother, I know missionaries all over the world that disagree with you and I have to as well.

I was on a mission trip and a young child was brought to us, who had drowned in the nearby river. the child was blue, bloated with water, mud and, very much dead. In attempt to force us to leave the area, the local witch DR showed up and begin trying to cast spells on us to scare us, he manifested all of stuff. Instead of rebuking him, the Holy Ghost gave mea word of wisdom and I had our translator make him the Elijah deal.

If he and his gods could bring him back from the dead, go ahead and do it and me and the missions team would leave the area. If my God brought him back to life, he would have to leave for good or agree to let us share the gospel with him.

I let the witch DR try for an hour and then backed him off and laid upon the child 3x and prayed the 1 Kings 17 prayer Elijah did.

The chidl began changing before our eyes and was made whole and his soul returned unto him and he was revived and ALIVE! We also got the witch DR and all his followers saved and he is still the preacher of that village!

Pardon me......................spare me your cessation doctrine.....

I have witnessed God do the impossible and it was all God, using men as he always has and will.

Acts 1v5, 2v16-21,38,39, teaches that the Baptism in the Holy Spirt and the gifts of the Holy Spirit are available throughout the whole of the age of Grace, right up to the 2nd Coming of Christ!
