This is an interesting thought[/QUOTE

That is of course unless you are God and know that something can come from nothing. God said let there be light and there was light so forth and so on. God rested on the 7th day after all His work was done and He blessed and hallowed it. I'd say God had quite the busy 6 day week creating a lot of something out of nothing.

Not only that but God creates something out of nothing and I give my own life as an example - before no direction or worth after meeting God purpose, worth and direction.

I think society would be a much better place if people focussed on their responsibilities, not their rights.
Exactly...responsibilities are never neutral and EVERYONE has them. The responsibilities of the irresponsible inevitably will pass on to another.

I cant help but wonder... if a blank page is more appealing to an author than a page Hes already enscribed on. I believe He has a love for both.. on one side he's poured out a love others have come to already know.. on the other...perhaps anticipation is being built up that is unlike anything some of us have yet to know.

So if you did not choose to be an atheist, that means you were forced to become an atheist. Thank God I don't serve your god. My God says "Choose you this day whom you will serve." My God gives me a free will. Obviously yours doesn't.
He gives you free will? Believe or burn!

People are atheists because there is no evidence to support that there is a good. The Evidence that you posted mentions nothing about a god.

All you really said, in a Long winded way was "I can't explain how this is the way it is... Therefore god!"

That's about as strong as your 'evidence' is going to get.

It's even more simple than that. Believing in God and aligning your attitude to a higher purpose takes faith and humility. Not believing in a higher authority puts yourself in the position of God and all that is required of that is pride and arrogance. Nothing good in life is easy. Being your own god is easy. Being submitted to a higher authority is hard and therefore is as good. It is good because it requires purpose beyond the insignificant you. You came to the right place because if one is going to explore their options concerning faith, Christianity is the most logical place to start.

This "avatar" (e.g. account on CC) exhibits characteristic features or patterns that point to intelligence behind the avatar (despite its faulty assertions). It communicates, for example, and does so in a manner consistent of an individual personality yet with a complexity that transcends any known AI program or bot though not that of a human being.

I would argue that the avatar has not arisen nor proceeds strictly by random cause preceding effect but rather that the avatar was designed by an intelligent being within an environment (e.g. CC) that was also designed by one or more intelligent beings while admitting that actual identity of the intelligent designer of the Cycel avatar requires a more detailed causal analysis... lol.

Yes, but how do we know there is a person behind the avatar. All we have is his word for it and as we know we cannot take another person's word for evidence according to him. For all we know, it might be Jabba the Hut behind the avatar.

ALL Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, (Literal Translation). 2 Timothy 3:16.

"Scripture" aka "the Bible" aka "God's WORD," not all kinds of rabbinic tradition. [Mark 7:8]

Truthfully if a person is intellectually honest, they cannot say with 100% certainty that there is no God. The evidence just doesn't support it. Scientific or otherwise. Therefore, a person cannot be honest with themselves and wear the atheist label simultaneously.
I think that there just mad about some personal stuff. I know someone like that, and the person is the sweetest, most caring, most patient, kind hearted, does volunteer work, so God only knows, people could say a lot of things, about themselves, but it's not always truthful.

So have we admitted there are atheists yet? :p
Define atheist. If an atheist is someone that claims there is no God, Yes there are atheists. If you say that they are people that knows there is no God, then no. If you say that an atheist is someone that has convinced themselves that there most likely is not a God, then yes.

Atheists have a problem.....that to truly be an atheist you must be 100% sure that there is no god. Seems quite an impossibility due to the limits in what current scientific knowledge will allow. So yes, they exist but in name only. They really are just petulant agnostics. :)
