Okay so a couple weeks ago my boyfriend called me scared. He was really upset because he had a dream that was so vivid and real, a dream he never had. He is a christian, but not really into it like me. He had a dream he was ascending into the clouds and he heard a male voice, which he assumes it's God. He said his voice was like a loud waterfall. And he said something along the lines of "because you have caused pain to other, you will also feel pain in hell." Something like that. Can't remember since it was weeks ago. He started falling and eventually fell in hell, where he was impaled by something. He said the pain was nothing like he's ever felt, and he felt the heat of the fire and smelled hell. He also saw tall reptilian things, whatever they were. And then he woke up. So is this a dream from God? It really startled me.. He isn't a bad person. He does cause me pain sometimes because he has his own problems that he's working on himself. I wonder if it's some sign. But would God really show him that?

in all honesty yes god would, he reveals the good and the bad, the serene and the scary. he shows the scary mostly to bring us to him and it seems his fate is not set and stone this appears to be an urgant warning to repen and seek him before the rapture happens which is why he was accending. this shows how little time there is before the rapture so he needs to do this and it now. unless he repents and seeks a loving relationship with god this will happen

Wowsers! I don't know what to say. I don't think every Tom, Dick and Harry should interpret dreams, as this can lead to lots of false information. But this could be God forewarning your boyfriend that he should learn to know Christ before it's too late. I mean, God has revealed similar things to other people. Pray about it to God, talk with your boyfriend. See what happens.

Something that powerful was like watching a YouTube video. Wow....
I would say indeed it sounds like a warning. How does he feel about it.
You said he is working on something in himself. As a Christian, can you
explain to him, we can't change ourselves without Christ as our Savior ?
He really needs to get serious with the Lord and just be thankful God
showed him that so he might receive Christ before the enemy takes him.
Prayers for you and for your boyfriend.

Father I ask You to please work in this situation so a soul may be spared
and may he know Your love Jesus. Please guide this precious daughter of
Yours and give her wisdom in how to handle this topic ~ We believe Jesus
is greater than the enemy of this world. Salvation and deliverance to this
young man, in Jesus' name. Amen

Wow this could be from God. And if your boyfriend feels it was God talking to him then he needs to pray and seek God about it.
I've had a dream kinda like this one and it was God letting me know that my relationship with him wasn't as it should be. He loved me enough to tell me it was time to start seeking him everyday and not just when I needed him. It was time to stop calling myself a "Christian" and start acting like one.
Tell your boyfriend to seek God. Its the only way to know if it was the lord or not.
I'll keep your boyfriend in my prayers and I pray he finds the answer.

Thank you so much everyone. I feel pretty sad but I'll pray about it.
I will also talk to him. He believes in Jesus, so I thought he is already saved. But yes, he needs to work on his relationship with God.

If this was a dream from the Lord than don't be sad. Be thankful God showed him this before it was to late.

Sophia, I re-read this after posting the above one. And you know ... I can't
think it was God whose voice he heard. But I believe God will use the dream
as a warning. I know this sounds like confusing. I can't imagine what your
boyfriend has done or could he have taken some medication that would
cause a nightmare ? I have seen these things on YouTube that have to do
with the paranormal and the Illuminati. If he does go over there and sees
things of this nature it could account for a nightmare. Wow... I am still
blown away that was so intense. I will continue to pray for you and him.
Night and Gods blessings be with you. ~ J~K~2

Since when is 'good person' any relevance to God? God says our righteousness are as filthy rags to Him. So what you're really saying is your boyfriend is a little religious, but basically a decent person. None of which qualifies him as a true Christian, just a good person who claims a title. None of which matter to God.

Years ago, I had recurring dreams of Jesus Second Coming and that I wasn't prepared. But in my waking hours I knew (trusted and believed in) Christ, but the dreams rocked me to the core. I became a nervous wreck. The fruit of that was not good, so I see it as the Enemy condemning me (mixing his lies with a little of God's Truth). Maybe this is a similar case, I don't know. Like I said, I suggest praying to God about it and talking to your boyfriend.

The Lord definitely will reveal such things to his children to discipline them, He can use the rod of correction also, if I were your boy friend I would repent and get right with The Lord before the belt comes out. The Lord does not enjoy showing us pain and having us suffer but sometimes it is the only way he can make us repent. And he will do whatever it takes to save his sheep from destruction. Trust me I speak from experience.

Christ be with you always.

Is your boyfriend saved? if not he will go to hell without Jesus Christ

If your boyfriend is saved, then there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ, also there is no wrath for the children of God

So I guess it depends if your boyfriend is saved or not, if he is = then it's not from God, if he's not saved - then it might be meant to scare the 'hell' out of him to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ

pretty much the Bible would tell you all this

Do him a favour and surprise him with this: grab a water bottle, cup some of the water in your hand, and then sprinkle it on him and say, "I baptize you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Then have him do the same for you. It's better in the presence of other people, because then it is a confession of the Lordship of Jesus before men. Matthew 10:32-33.

Before or after you do this (your choice), read Ezekiel 36:25-27 to him.

The mandate is in Acts 2:38-39.

Now look at Proverbs 10:8a. "The wise in heart will receive commandments..."

Suprise him with a sprinkling baptism ? Are you joking? Why on earth would you think that a suprise sprinkling would help?. If his heart is not right with God , what in the world would this do? Get him wet that is all

If baptism doesn't save, it won't do anything for him even if his heart is right with God.

I was just thinking that faith and repentance sometimes comes after.

But maybe not. Sophia1993, tell him Ezekiel 36:25-27 BEFORE you sprinkle him.

Wrong , read the favorite verse of the oneness pentecostals again. Acts 2:38. Repent then be baptized. Baptism is an obedience issue after salvation. Eph 2:8,9. We are saved through faith.

I have never known anyone to say they saw fire come down upon them like Acts 2 - unless I see that, must not have it
