I have always been wondering how long a far piece is, not to mention how long a right far piece is.
that's easy -- a far piece is a ways, and a right far piece is a ways yonder.

I chose Him because He chose me because I chose Him because He chose me because I chose Him because He chose me because I chose Him because He chose me because I chose Him because He chose me because I chose Him....
:D
Haha, you just made my day, sir (along with other question in another forum room if putin is antichrist hahaa lol poor thing putin..:D)

I must say, that I definitely like this forum now

Ok, about your riddle…I will argue with you, haha, I see things this way

He chose me therefore I chose Him, because He chose me, therefore I chose Him, because He chose me, therefore I chose Him, because He chose me, therefore I chose Him, because He chose me, therefore I chose Him….

Hmm, weird, why is your riddle still sound better then mine? :D

I know what your point is,( with you guys is still the same, predestination or our choice aka calvinism or arminianism..)

But seriously, isnt it just wonderful that HE chose ME? (…and therefore I chose Him…because He chose me?) great grace

Im so happy that he choose me and therefore I could chose Him :)

Anyway, be blessed

Really, be blessed

I chose Him because He chose me because I chose Him because He chose me because I chose Him because He chose me because I chose Him because He chose me because I chose Him because He chose me because I chose Him....
A couple of nights ago, I was discussing this ^^ with my friend and we could not come to a conclusion. There are evidences in the Bible where God choose first like in the case of Paul (in addition to scriptural passage) but then, John 3:16 (and other verses) says, "...whoever believes in me..." There is also the evidence in genesis that Adam and Eve Choose to disobey God, etc. etc. I would also love to hear this puzzle explained.

Regarding chicken and egg, if anyone believes in the literal account of Genesis, then its undoubtedly chicken as God created man and woman, not babies.

In Divine blessing, if it is a matter of Divine grace versus supposed human merit, then divine grace has to win every time, or else not at all. Ephesians 2.8

Blessings.

That's the issue. If God choose us, then do we really have a choice if we remain outside of His salvation? Or for that matter, to be judged for not being in His fold.

Moral responsibility is not an enemy of Divine grace. We are responsible for our sins, but if we are saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus because of His sin atoning death at the Cross, then it must all be to the glory of God in His grace. Ephesians 2.9 '...lest any man should boast'.

Blessings.

What I am trying to say here is that even after I choose to believe in Him (as in John 3:16), if God does not choose me, what choice do I have that I should be judged for being outside of His fold/for being outside of His salvation?

I'm not sure the word is choosing as much as knowing. For example, say I'm up on a high mountain overlooking a valley. Across the valley run railroad tracks. I see two trains enter the valley headed towards each other. I say "if those trains don't stop, in about 5 minutes they're going to crash right about there". The trains don't stop and they collide. Does that mean my foreknowlege made it happen? Same thing with choosing God. It's my free will to chose Him or not. But He knew from the moment He created all this that I would, and so He chose to accept me. So does the fact that He knew my choice and accepted me before I even existed mean that He over-rules my free will choice? No, it doesn't. He chose first because He knew first. But it was entirely dependent upon my choice made later.

Fallen man chooses that which is consistent with his nature - hostility to God (Romans 8:7). We chose God because He first chose us. We love God because He first loved us.

Seems then, you're simply saying 'He chose us because we chose Him.' n'est pas?

actually god created the chicken first but after the fall eve became obsessed with her weight and found a diet cookbook with a recipe for omelets made with egg, water, a little soy milk, and alfalfa sprouts. god immediately realized that for humanity to be truly fallen he had to encourage the eating and use of that kind of terrible stuff so he started the chickens laying eggs.,

Either way, I don't think a vegan would touch either chickens or eggs.
