Re: The Genesis Gap (Genesis 1:1-2)

I kind of stick to the reading 'the earth was void', rather than 'became void'...

I agree. I am no hand with the Hebrew language but it is interesting that no translation I have ever seen was willing to translate הָיְתָ֥ה as "became" in this verse.

This is guys is nuts, Satan can not enter into a born again Christian; deceive a Christian yes, but not possess him. So after 5:29 mins. I want to turn him off.

Because הָיְתָ֥ה is mostly translated 'was' and rarely 'became'?

He has the first thought okay , then runs into some issues. I didn't like the fact he mentioned mans book in relation to any study in the Bible. And he didn't bother with study into the Hebrew. He just left out the majority of the scriptures needed for this study. but the verses, which he did give, were good, but not complete .

I believe the earth was also old too.
( Not evolution ) Some how people believe I'm saying this when I mention the earth is much older then the days in Genesis suggest at first glance.

I like to talk about this in the chat rooms often. Anyone up for that ? Message me .
