If only I can find these things in the Bible. Not there Not GOD! I know where it comes from if it is not from God, then it is from Satan. And that is proven by the Truth the Word of God. If a hole church burst out laughing please show me that is how God operates in THE BIBLE! Not there not from God. As easy as that.

Thank you for sharing all these crazy beliefs. And by now they are REALLY silly. Benni Hinn is one sick dude. I pity the man and his followers. It is so clear how God operates just read 1 Corinthians 14 on what REALLY goes on in a church where GOD IS IN CONTROL//// Read from verses 26 to the end of the Chapter.

Tongues and interpretation of tongues are 2 functions. The rest of that list....not so much.

im so glad I have lived a life of 'no'. Basically everything I have tried through the years in the realm of 'churchianity', that is, climbing the ecclesiastical ladder, God has said 'no' to me. Thank God. Now I know why after years of research. Christendom is way out of order and away from Gods heart.

The content of the false prophets & teachers is true. But christians should beware that as a result of this falseness, an entire movement has been stereotyped & judged as of the devil. I myself was saved in a Pentecostal church, called into the ministry 2 years later, & have been in ministry for over 30 years. I don't believe in holy laughter, nor any manifestation that has no real purpose in ministry. Because Pentecostalism is getting perverted & corrupted in these last days doesn't mean it's always been that way. Look at all denominations. They're all being perverted & corrupted from within in the past few decades.

The last part of the movie isn't true. The giftings of the Holy Spirit didn't end in the 1st century. As a matter of fact, after saying the gifts had ceased, they then told of a person who had a spiritual dream about Jesus! They can't have it both ways!

There is no such teaching in Old or New Testaments that teaches the gifts are no longer going to be needed. It's missing altogether. Study commentaries carefully before using 1 Corinthians 13:8-13. It has been abused for years.

Maybe I ought to start showing videos of all the Baptists spreading lies about God's word. Maybe I should start showing videos off all the Baptist women coming out and documenting the spiritual/ritual abuse they endured for years under their baptist husbands and pastors, who turned their husbands into over sexed marital rapists, beat their wives for talking in church, kept their wives "under"control and a host of other emotional, spiritual and physical abuses.

Maybe we should show Baptist videos of emotionally disturbed Baptist pastors screaming a their congregations to never suffer the Rod on their kids and its ok to beat SIN out of them, and they won't die. Maybe we should show the teachings of law and legalism and more emotionally out of control Baptist pastors judging and condemning those that wear jeans, eat pork and have long hair, smoke, drink or engage in marital sex for other than procreation. Lets be sure to include the videos of them stack ranking sin of homosexuality and condemning sinner to a devils hell, because they will never get clean, lets show the ones where the generate the spirit of fear to insure the right guy gets elected.

Lets show the re-dedication videos of the same ones coming down to rededicating every Sunday after partying every Saturday night. Let's show the ones were they say since you are OSAS, its cool to live any way you want.

And lets show the anger of most Baptist pastors as they demand everyone swear allegiance to the AKJV Bible.

In fact most of the videos I could post, show Baptist pastors very angry all the time....its hard living under the law.

On second thought I won't, because it would put me in the same league as them.

Perhaps we should ask why Pentecostalism is filled with so many pseudo-Christians? What is it about Pentecostalism that attracts so many who profess something they do not possess?

I remain very concerned about the souls who sit under Pentecostal ministry.

And I remain very concerned for the souls of those who dismiss the legitimate Spiritual Gifts. Even more so for those who attribute them to satan. See, the only thing worse than satan's falsifications is his use of the falsehoods to impugn the real thing.

Highwayman I think you should post those videos. Anywhere we find the institute of demons wearing wool and preaching the word of God we should definitely do our best to expose them. I am equally disgusted by preachers of any denomination who preach the doctrines of man.

Fails to address the question. Diversion is not an answer. In a field full of tares the wheat is impossible to distinguish.

Why are Pentecostals so easily offended when asked if they are saved and know it?

I am not going to stay in a thread that polarizes everyone against each other for no good reason & proves to the rest of the world that the apostate church is alive & well. I'm sick of it. Goodnite, folks.

I'm curious how you could have polled ALL of the Pentecostals. For such a sweeping generalization to be believed I have to assume that you've polled most of the Pentecostals. Have to tell you that it seems you missed some.

The reality of the situation is that satan has entered the church. There are packs of wolves in sheeps clothing. We don't do anyone any service by keeping this quiet for the sake of our own personal agendas IE pretending the church is whole and has not been infiltrated. There is good news though. Through our trust in God and with the witness of the Holy Spirit we can see these monsters for what they are and refuse to let their treachery go unhindered.

If I say "why do Mormons keep knocking at my door?" Do you assume I mean all Mormons?

I don't know what kind of Baptists you are talking about, but it sure is not either of the conventions I have been a member of. I would never attend a KJV Only Church. Seeing as I can't make head nor tale of the 16th century English, despite speaking and/or reading 5 other languages!

My pastor takes a long passage of Scripture, exegetes it and then applies it. He throws in some colourful illustrations, none of which advocate beating women or children, or condemning anyone. Mind you, he has a Ph.D in preaching, has studied under some of the greatest preachers alive today, and cares like a shepherd for his congregation.

But then, if he didn't, I would not attend this church. We had one elder who preached the worst sermon I have ever heard i my life, with no Scripture, just a business model of how to run a church and a lot of legalism. No one is in the sanctuary when it is his turn to preach when our senior pastor is away.

I think you might be talking about weird right wing independent fundamentalists!

But I won't defend Baptists, because there are things that are wrong in every denomination, including Baptist churches, and my own.

I think Stephen has really clearly stated his point, about the excesses in the Pentecostal movement do not represent classic Pentecostalism. And with regards to why the movement attracts so many people, I know I was a Pentecostal for 15 years, when I got saved, because, yes, there was a lot of excitement and I wanted to be where the excitement was.

Now I know that is not every church, and I think the Word Faith movement is really the heresy we need to address. I did not view the video, but I can imagine from the comments what it said. Sadly, the Word Faith movement has filtered back into not just the Pentecostal movement, but pretty much every denomination, unless the doctrine is sound, and the pastor is preaching and teaching to a mature congregation.

People want excess these days, inside and outside of the church. And people perish for lack of knowledge.

It's true we aren't seeing anything we haven't already been shown would happen in the scriptures, but I still feel obligated to raise awareness.

Angela,
Most of my contentions are with the IFB's in the USA.
