Praise the Lord. Jesus said in John 3.5 Except a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Now what is the water and the Spirit that makes us born again. Notice how in the book of the acts of the apostles the water and the Spirit was mentioned together. First in Acts 2.38 Peter said, Repent, and be BAPTIZED every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you will receive the gift of THE HOLY GHOST (water and Spirit). Acts 8.16,17 says They were BAPTIZED in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then laid they their hands on them, and they received THE HOLY GHOST. Acts 10.47,48 says, Peter answered, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be BAPTIZED , which have received the HOLY GHOST as well as we? And he commanded them to be BAPTIZED in the name of the Lord(water and Spirit). Finally Acts 19.5,6 says When they heard by Paul that they should believe on Christ Jesus, they were BAPTIZED in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul laid his hands on them, the HOLY GHOST came on them, and they spoke with tongues. Bare in mind this is not my own opinion, but the Bible's record. You may ask why is one baptized in Jesus' name to be born again of the water like the Bible says? The answer again the Bible. Romans 6.3 says, So many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ, were baptized into his death. Colossians 2.12 says, We are buried with Christ in baptism, wherein also we are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who has raised him from the dead. Also 1Peter 3. 21 says Baptism does also now save us...by the ressurection of Jesus Christ. And Jesus said in Mark 16.16 He that believes the gospel and is baptized will be saved. And we're baptized in Jesus' name(Lord or Christ being added because Peter said in Acts 4.12 Neither is there salvation in any other besides Jesus Christ, for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. He also said in Acts 10.43 Through Jesus' name whosoever believes in him will receive remission of sins. Then after being baptized one receives the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues according to Acts 2.4 They were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. So now you have the account on how to be born again according to the word of Godl. May God bless you. Amen

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Galatians 3:1-2 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? (compare serpent on pole of Jn 3:14). This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

In short it's through the living and powerful Word of the Gospel.

Der how many people did Jesus baptize with water? NONE! How many people did He baptize with Spirit to give them NEW life? Plenty!

John the baptist (Elias/Elijah) stands in the Water aand he says.... I baptize you with water, but He that comes after me shall baptize you with Spirit and Fire.... So clearly JOhn talks about TWO baptisms... Water, and one with Fire and spirit...

Then God comes in Eph 4 and say.. There is ONE BAPTISM.... Ok for me there is also only ONE baptism... Fire and Spirit.

Do you know this WATER? Jesus mentions LIVING water.. Is that not the WATER we would be born off... Living waters wil lflow from their bowels and Living water He will give you... John 4:10 and John 17:8.

This LIVING WATER is the WORD of God.... And we should baptize people in the WORD OF GOD.... Not water, LIVING WATER.
H2O is not what saves... LIVING WATER saves.... The WORD saves.... James 1:21... Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

May the Lord Himslef engrave His Word on our hearts... Amen!

The new birth is giving up your life andheart and mind to God, giving him total consecration, giving him everymoment and dedicating yourself to him forever
and he floods you with his holy spirit in waves of love and peace, and then corrects, instructs changes and recreates you every moment, every decision, every thought, every action and every time you spek

the new birth is falling in love, marrying and forever comitting yourself to God for better or worse in sickness and in health til\\\\ no there is no death to the ones who commit now, there is only eternal life from this moment on the 144000 dont die.

John 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Do you believe?
Yes or no?

You are justified (forgiven) by his blood then starts the daily sanctification or living according to the word more and more and more and changing to become more and more and more like Jeuss the word of God...

you need both, or you are not born again.

For as we die unto flesh in Jesus, we are born into His spirit!
The body is but a temple that holds us, for we are no longer of flesh, but alive in Jesus, His Spirit!

The WORD you hold
whatever version you have is

The devil came and said

the old testament is not for you

and you believed it
and you began to die
and the devil laughed

then the devil came and said
The commanments are not for you
and in you
love died
and the devil laughed

then the devil said
You are hateful
everyone is goin to heaven
all they have to say is a few words
confess JEsus
and live like the devil
and they are all going!
And you believed it
and you began to die
and the devil laughed

and then compromise for unity came
and you thought that was love
and love is obedience
but the devil said
love is letting everyone do what they WANT!
and you believed it
and you breathed your last
and died
and the devil laughed
and laughed
and laughed

My friend lookuptoseeJesus.... Do we give our hearts to God? Can you show me scripture? Or does GOD TAKE our hearts? I think God takes them because God says so in Ezekiel 36 :26... He says he will TAKE AWAY our stony hearts... I am so glad God does this, becasue that is not where He stops... Then He will give us a NEW heart... Look here,...
Ezek 36:26 and 27... A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

The more and more like Jesus is the PURIFIACTION / Sanctification part. 1 John 3:3 says this.... And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

This purification is a process. Sin by sin we will be LEAD out of the sin... ON GOD'S TIME.... God says some sow the seed others waters the plant, but GOD LET GROW... this growth is actually a DEATH... Dying to old man and sin.... The more we die off sin the more we grow in purity. You see this is how God works... Every step we take in His direction God tkes one to us as well... God says draw near to God and He will draw near to you....

This is how we grow in faith, and in pureness, and die to old man. I have this wonderful experience that every sin I leave behind Jesus TAKES AWAY.... Jesus said so in 1 John 3:5 ... And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

If Jesus did not TAKE IT AWAY I cannot ever be as pure as He is pure.... So just to get clean Jesus has to cleanse me from ALL unrighteousness... 1 John 1:9 says EXACTLY that.... And that is how I get CLEANSED.

And your NEXT post IN HIS WORD is so accurate... 100% correct. We are sandtified in His Word... John 17:17.. His Truth. IN JESUS! and IN HIM IS NO SIN... we are sanctified in a place where there IS NO SIN... Not in me or I will not be in HIM...

How can God claim there is no sin in Him, if I am in Him and in me is sin? That is why we are cleansed from ALL unrighteousness BEFORE WE GO INTO HIM AND HE INTO US.... Praise Go for His salvation is TRULY PERFECT! Amen!

As a little child who loves his father
in happiness we do aspire
to love and please and serve him ever'
my God my father my king
in you Im everything
my praises to you I sing.

Our job is to COME

Isa 55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
Isa 55:2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
Isa 55:3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

John 4:15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

John 3:11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
John 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Song 6:4 Thou art beautiful, O my love,
Song 7:6 How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights!
Song 7:10 I am my beloved's, and his desire is toward me.
Song 8:6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death;

Song 2:10 My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
Song 2:11 For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
Song 2:12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;

Song 1:2 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.
Song 1:3 Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.
Song 1:4 Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

And you hath He quickened who were dead in trespasses and sin. Eph 2:1, 2:5 Col 2:13

It is the Holy Spirit that quickens not water.

The word is able to save our souls, because the word tells us what to do, like in Acts 16.30 Sirs, what must I do to be saved? They said, Believe ON(not in:eek:n means to be baptized in Jesus' name) the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved. It says, They spoke to him the word of the Lord, and he was baptized. 1Peter 1.25 says, This is the word by which the gospel is preached unto you. In Luke 24.47 Jesus said, Repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name. In Acts 2.38 Peter said, REPENT, and be baptized everyone of you IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS. That's that one baptism of Ephesians 4.

How does the Spirit quicken from sin? It is water, because you obtain the blood of Christ through water baptism in Jesus' name.

Or clean water...

Ezekiel 36:25-27 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Wholly false statement. Water cannot quicken only the Holy Spirit can quicken. Men baptize with water Christ baptizes with the Holy Spirit. Only God can make alive that which is dead. The blood makes atonement and the Holy Spirit makes us alive in Christ unto God our Father.

Grace through faith not of works or rites or secret handshakes. Water baptism cannot and does not save.
