Have You Seen Jesus?

2014-9-4

After that, He appeared in another form to two of them . . . —Mark 16:12

Being saved and seeing Jesus are not the same thing. Many people who have never seen Jesus have received and share in God’s grace. But once you have seen Him, you can never be the same. Other things will not have the appeal they did before.
You should always recognize the difference between what you see Jesus to be and what He has done for you. If you see only what He has done for you, your God is not big enough. But if you have had a vision, seeing Jesus as He really is, experiences can come and go, yet you will endure “as seeing Him who is invisible” (Hebrews 11:27). The man who was blind from birth did not know who Jesus was until Christ appeared and revealed Himself to him (see John 9). Jesus appears to those for whom He has done something, but we cannot order or predict when He will come. He may appear suddenly, at any turn. Then you can exclaim, “Now I see Him!” (see John 9:25).
Jesus must appear to you and to your friend individually; no one can see Jesus with your eyes. And division takes place when one has seen Him and the other has not. You cannot bring your friend to the point of seeing; God must do it. Have you seen Jesus? If so, you will want others to see Him too. “And they went and told it to the rest, but they did not believe them either” (Mark 16:13). When you see Him, you must tell, even if they don’t believe.
O could I tell, you surely would believe it!
O could I only say what I have seen!
How should I tell or how can you receive it,
How, till He bringeth you where I have been?

I saw Jesus in a dream many years ago, I found myself standing in the clouds of heaven and before me was a large banquet table that stretched on as far as the eye could see and people were sitting at the table all laughing and rejoicing waiting for a meal to be served and I saw servers carrying plates of food to the table, and The Lord came to me with plates of food to serve and asked me to help him serve the people who sat at the table and I was filled with joy to help my Lord serve the people. I believe The Lord was showing me the wedding supper of the Lamb, and I am to this day overjoyed to know I was found worthy to serve with Him.
Because of this revelation I can assure you Jesus is returning and there will be a great feast for those who endure until the end.

Praise be to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to him be the glory forever.

I saw the Lord Jesus in a vision while I was praying. I was in a marshy pit that was completely dark, no light. It was all wet and muddy. I was trying to get out but the best I could do was get up on one knee. I was about to fall back down on my face out of exhaustion when a man who was emitting white light appeared and held out His right Hand. I grabbed onto His hand with my right hand and He lifted me to my feet. As soon as I got to my feet I looked around and saw that I was no longer in the marshy pit but on top of the clouds. He put His right arm around my shoulders and gestured with His left arm into the distance, as if He was pointing, but with His whole hand. I looked where He gestured and I saw a great golden light way off in the distance and other people walking toward that golden light.

I thought that the meaning of this was that He had put me on the path toward His Kingdom and Eternal Life, rescuing me from the pit that I couldn't get myself out of.

Thank you Jesus, thank God for You.

See you know its Satan's lie when it starts with Jesus and turns to HIM. God is greater than satan and does not allow HIM to continue a lie.

How about you stop following satan every time you see HIM.

I had this dream about a little white lamb in a green pasture surrounded by trees. The lamb had three or four little black spirits constantly circling around his head causing confusion to the lamb. Not only confusion but the little black spirits were trying to lead the lamb out of the pasture and into the woods. But there was a Shepherd there dressed in all white. And when the Shepherd approached the lamb the little black spirits were afraid and took off into the woods, leaving the lamb. The lamb was more easily able to stay in the pasture with the Good Shepherd when those spirits weren't confusing him.

I thought the meaning of this was that I was the lamb and the little black spirits were all the thoughts that led to my temptation and sin, attempting to take me away from the Lord, who is the Good Shepherd.

I've never seen him (satan) have you?
Why did you capitalize 'Him' while speaking of satan?

Yes! And why should we listen to what someone says about the nature of God, when they themselves are spiritually unsure of where their beliefs stand?

Why not? Read Genesis 2:2-3 about 500 hundred times in humility then come back and ask me the same question.

I've seem him in my thoughts and in my many actions but I've seen the devil too!In my thoughts and actions make that clear!!! I have seen what he looks like in the word and in the lives of others so in that sense yes. I strive to see him in me more and more each day. Now literally I have not seen him.Where i know his face and his stature in everyday real life i know my children and I know my wife type terms yet I have imagined him and what he will look like to me I guess this counts too. Hopefully it will but if not I'm
at least it's honest. Not saying that others are not let me clarify that before the devil trys to convince someone I'm saying something different. lol

whats the prob with seeing Jesus?
is that a tabboo?
what are we supposed to run for in this life then?

i myself had seen many things, yes some where events about future which already happened..i cannot tell if it was divine or not..
i sure had a dream some months back where i saw Jesus n plain surface. He was wearing a white garment with a red robe that covered the ground he was standing on..i felt like He Looked like a melting candle...and enduring face He had...and He was very tall..very tall..yes:)
100% am sure its the sins am committing due to flesh that's making Him melt like that..

i indeed feel ashamed, but God has His way of cleaning my mess up when i give Him time and yield..

In the dream i was complaining to Him that because of this and that am not able to follow him completely...and how i will get into Heaven..i was like non stop complaining,to release me out from the flesh or burdens that vex me...

And He said only few words and those were 'you must Overcome'...and when He started speaking everything became Calm in me and i sensed the probs were still around, but i was totally Calm...

And don't know whether its fully divine or not,but He didn't appear like with a Divine Charm but just looked like a fellow friend whom i could pour out my heart too.. nope he was not having a glow FX around..lol...

And that Dream-Vision was very clear, that it gave me Great energy to Survive many trials where i was slowly giving up...
And there is Deliverance, which brings me to the Conclusion that God is still in control and when He says i must Overcome,His Grace Follows :)

So whats the prob with Having Good Dreams???

What? You make no sense. Reading anything in the Bible hundreds of times won't mean a thing, if you don't let the Holy Spirit do His work.

John 20:29 KJV

"Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."

you are a more Blessed person according to words of Jesus Himself,Praise God.

In Christian walk if someone is never troubled-motivated literally or spiritually leading to nightmares or Visions, then there was no effort in that Christian walk...very simple..

if you had devilish nightmares or trouble some visions take it as chastisement from God..
Just to make us walk more in Godly humility where our our corrupt nature looses its clutch on our soul.
Talking from experience..

God Bless:)
