Any self elevation above others results in pride, greed, and every devilish sin in the above list. Welcome to Pharisee land. Will the ekklesia ever wake up?? Hope does spring eternal.
'The prophets prophesy for gain.....and my people love it so'. 'Give us a king( a man) to rule over us like the nations'. Has anything really changed?
Jesus stands at the outside now for about 1800 years knocking to get in....will someone please answer the door????
I have my crash helmet on. Start slinging those stones.
Don't worry about stones. There's only one way to live and it's to live in the truth: "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth" (3Jn. 1:4). I love your post; it's true but not accusative. Thank God for those whose eyes see and whose ears listen and hear what the Holy Spirit is saying. There's only way to live, and it's in the truth; everything else is survival and illusion. Even with all my struggles, I'm full of the Life of Christ, only because I choose to abide in (acknowledge and walk in) the truth. God bless.

Out of 400 Pharisees, only 27 were true adamites, the rest were Kenites. All one needs do is read what Christ said of them in John chapter 8. They are the same as the tares, in Matthew 13. They are still among us, only they use a different name now. They are the goats, the bad fig, and the tares.
The bible says that only noah and his family survived so how does Cain come in you are speaking of physically not metaphoricly ?

There is no mark of Cain
there are no black people because of cain
that is all hatefulness
cains progeny all died in the flood they didnt HEAR and DO the word of God
they, as cain, did their OWN WORD

you will also die if you do not do the word of God.

We do not need to be "pastors" to act like Pharisees. If we try to get around the heart of the law while we try to keep the letter of the law then we are acting like Pharisees. We must try to love like God loves. While we cannot achieve this in the flesh, it is still our goal. The Pharisees were hypocrites because they did not care about anyone except themselves and those that they loved. Jesus tells us that they were even using God to keep money from their parents by saying that it had been promised to God: But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever I have that would help you has been given to God,” [SUP]6 [/SUP]he is not to honor his father or his mother.’ And by this you invalidated the word of God for the sake of your tradition. [SUP]7 [/SUP]You hypocrites, rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you: [SUP] [/SUP]This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me.
But in vain do they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.’”

Yes, the "Pharisee" is very much alive in many of us! This is an obstacle that I try to be aware of in my own thinking. Sometimes we try to get as close to wrong as we can without going over the line.

But Christs emphasis was on the church leaders. Why? Because they controlled the folks with their traditions. They were doing the most damage even unto today.

His focus was not on the antagonostic leaders. They kept going after Him, otherwise He wouldn't have given them the time of day...

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Matthew 11:5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

That's where his focus was.
