Tradition or Truth?

As if "worshipping" the Savior in the way of Bablonian ritual was not bothersome enough, I am even more bothered by the fact that most seems to not even care that they are doing it...

Easter isn't pagan, nor is Christmas. These have been debunked by Christians.

Ohh, ok.....

Easter/Ishtar just so happen to have eggs and bunnies at the same time of year, both dying the eggs, nope nothing to see here!

Not to be rude Mr. Tintin, but your post is a perfect example.

No, most dont care for truth.

2 Kings 17:33-34, "They were taught how they might worship Yahweh, but instead they worshiped their own gods according to the customs of the nations from which they had been brought. To this day, they continue to practice their former pagan customs. They do not reverence Yahweh, nor do they follow the statutes, ordinances, Laws, and commandments which Yahweh had commanded the children of Yaaqob, whom He named Israyl."

Yahchanan (John) 4:24, "Yahweh is a Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth."

Deuteronomy 12:29-32, “When Yahweh your Father cuts off the nations from in front of you, and you displace them and live in their land, Be careful not to be ensnared into following them by asking about their gods, saying: How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do the same. You must not worship Yahweh your Father in their way, for every abomination to Yahweh, which He hates, they have done to their gods. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods. Whatsoever I command you, be careful to observe and do it, you shall not add to it, nor take away from it."

Yeremyah 7:9-11, "Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, vow falsely, burn incense to Baal, follow hinder gods you know nothing of, And then come and stand before Me in this House upon which My Name is called, and say; We are saved! Saved to do all these abominations? Has this House, which is called with My Name, become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen this! says Yahweh."

I care about truth, I don't care about this silliness. The only similarity they truly share is that Christians wanted to sabotage pagan festivals/'holy' days by putting their godly festivals/holy days on at the same time. It's about raising up truth in God and trampling on the pagan gods. Nothing suspicious here.

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

Passover, Unleavened and FirstFruits are dealing with the Messiah's Death and Ressurection, but just as prophesied by the prophet, evil forces have "changed" them.

Daniel 7:25, "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time"

1 Corinthians 5:7-8, "Therefore, purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new batch, since you are unleavened. For truly Yahshua our Passover was sacrificed for us. Therefore, let us keep the Feast, not with bold leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."

1858. heortazo
heortazo: I keep a feast
Original Word: ???t???
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: heortazo
Phonetic Spelling: (heh-or-tad'-zo)
Short Definition: I keep a feast
Definition: I take part in a festival, keep a feast

Colossians 2:16-23, "16Let no one, then, judge you in eating or in drinking, or in respect of a feast, or of a new moon, or of sabbaths, 17which are a shadow of the coming things, and the body [is] of the Christ; 18let no one beguile you of your prize, delighting in humble-mindedness and [in] worship of the messengers, intruding into the things he hath not seen, being vainly puffed up by the mind of his flesh, 19and not holding the head, from which all the body — through the joints and bands gathering supply, and being knit together — may increase with the increase of God.20If, then, ye did die with the Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances? 21— thou mayest not touch, nor taste, nor handle — 22which are all for destruction with the using, after the commands and teachings of men, 23which are, indeed, having a matter of wisdom in will-worship, and humble-mindedness, and neglecting of body — not in any honour, unto a satisfying of the flesh."

I think we have v16 down, I want to focus on 20-23, as to see context. Shaul (Paul) in nearly all his thoughts talks about a topic and then goes on to explain, he uses an advanced style of writing as his (worldly) education was beyond that of the other NT writers.

20If, then, ye did die with the Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances?

So he is saying if your dead to the world why would you subject yourself to its (the worlds) ordinances. To think he is saying if your dead to the world then why would you subject yourself to Yahweh"s/Yahshua's Commandments would make no sense, but he explains it further.

21— thou mayest not touch, nor taste, nor handle

the pharisees had a law in which you could not eat meat and cheese togather, or even within 4 houhs of eachother. Now this is not in Yahweh's Law even, Yahweh's Law says dont boil a child in its mothers milk (3 times) (the local pagans had this as a religious practice Yahweh did not want His people to partake in these evil pagan practices) the pharisees using something called "midrashic interpretation" the pharisees looked at it and said well since it says this three times it must meant three different things. SO THEY MADE UP THEIR OWN LAW, that was completely disconnected from Scripture and enforced it as from Yahweh.

22which are all for destruction with the using, after the commands and teachings of men,

So here very clearly he states "the commandments of men", now if you read from 16-20 you see he stays on topic, and 20 says basically if your dead to the world why do what the world tells you, so we can see he is still on this topic from v16. In this verse 22, he says "which are all for destruction", how does Sabbath lead to destruction and it would also have to be a "commandment of men" if there is ant commandment that is the farthest thing possible from being a "commandment of men" it is the Sabbath, it was from creation and it shows the AUTHORITY of the Creator, the mark of the Creator. Also tying a "commandment of men" to destruction Romans 8:13, "For if you live according to the commandments of men, you will die; but if, through the Spirit, you put to death; put an end to, the evildoing of mankind, you will live."

23which are, indeed, having a matter of wisdom in will-worship, and humble-mindedness, and neglecting of body — not in any honour, unto a satisfying of the flesh.

Pleasing of the pharisees by following the talmud. v22 for context = "after the commands and teachings of men"

you see the pharisees would have a problem if you did things according to Yahweh's instruction and not their ORAL LAW, this is shown in MATT 15, 23, mark 7:7-9, etc

If you kept the Sabbath NOT according to the Talmud but according to the Scriptures the Pharisees would have a problem.

Matt 12:10 & 12, "And, behold, there was a man who had a withered hand. Then they asked
Him, saying; Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath Days?--so that they might accuse Him."
"And how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it is Lawful to do righteousness on the Sabbath."

The "Rabbis" also made their own holidays, Haunnaka and Rosh hashanna and more. when they left babylon they even changed the names of the moons (months), and rosh hashanna even changes the time of the new year, commandment and ordinances of men. the calendar Yahweh instuted is Yahweh's calendar, the one who created it created the heavens and the earth. Our current calendar is the gregorian calendar, which goes back to the bablonian calendar. Yahweh said the days end and begin at sunset, not the "Rabbis."

% made up "feast days" the Pharisees may had, brought you to trial, beat, imprisoned, or even killed you for not honoring. The Talmud tells a story of another "Rabbi" disagreeing and wanting to follow the Scriptures, and the head Pharisees makes then man, on threat of death appear in public on a Scriptual Feast Day in a way that the man cant honor Yahweh, thus commanding him to disobey Yahweh.

Rosh Hashanah (New Year)
Rosh Hashanah occurs on the first and second days of Tishri (the 7th moon or month, Yahweh's year starts in the 1st month). In Hebrew, Rosh Hashanah means, literally, "head of the year" or "first of the year." Rosh Hashanah is commonly known as the Jewish New Year.

How does the year start in the 7th month? According to the Scriptures and Yahweh;s calendar the year starts in the 1st month, Abib.

Chanukkah
On the 25th of Kislev are the days of Chanukkah, which are eight... these were appointed a Festival with Hallel [prayers of praise] and thanksgiving. -Shabbat 21b, Babylonian Talmud

Tu B'Shevat
There are four new years... the first of Shevat is the new year for trees according to the ruling of Beit Shammai; Beit Hillel, however, places it on the fifteenth of that month. -Mishnah Rosh Hashanah 1:1

Purim
Is one of the most joyous and fun holidays on the Jewish calendar. It commemorates a time when the Jewish people living in Persia were saved from extermination.

Tisha B'Av
Five misfortunes befell our fathers ... on the ninth of Av. ...On the ninth of Av it was decreed that our fathers should not enter the [Promised] Land, the Temple was destroyed the first and second time, Bethar was captured and the city [Jerusalem] was ploughed up. -Mishnah Ta'anit 4:6

You see all the 1st century followers of Messiah kept the Feasts of Yahweh, not the Bablonian holidays decreed by Constantine...

That is why Shaul (Paul) wrote:

1 Thessalonians 5:1, "But concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that I should write to you."

Leviticus 23:2, "Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, 'The set feasts of Yahweh, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my set feasts."

Interesting topic! I knew that the secular accepted the pagan version of "Christianity" It is Christendom. I have a book called, "Shocked By the Bible" and it clearly stated well. I also have Chick Tracts and other books that explained about those "holidays". It is all Roman pagan version. This is might be reason why the world hated us so because we twisted it! We need to tell the truth and disassociate from those holidays. That is why I do not like churches that follow those holidays. I told them they are wrong and they said they feel they have to do that to the unsaved. Wrong!!

I agree with every one of you.

Now, about Jesus's birth. From my finding and I do not have time to write right now. It was the Fest of Tabernales that Jesus was born. Clues in the Bible said during the season of the harvest.. get it? harvest--fest.. I connected the dots. The timing when both Elizabeth and Mary (Miriam) were pregnant. Look it up. I knew that Jesus was born in the Fall. And few days ago, I discovered when. You have to use secular view of events to make the dots connection of when Jesus was born and therefore, when Jesus died.

There is a saying out there about April's Fool Day. It was established because according to rumors out there that was the day Satan thought he made a fool out of Jesus when Jesus was arrested, charged, judged, abused, whipped, etc. and died on the Cross. BUT it was Satan himself got fooled by Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior, and Messiah! Praise God!

When people no longer have the spirit for truth they are decieved and have the grand delusion that they are fine
ther is no waking up from this state anymore, most have been taught this tate by the internet by being given the opinion that there are a million different opinions and that is just fine

school system also teaches everyone is different, embrace them all!
that is love they say
to accept every error anyone wants to come up with

satan has them and will never tlet them go

our job is this

Those with the spirit of truth who still listen to the spirit of truth teach them in all love to rely on the word of God as the ultimate authority and warn them that EVERYTHING they have been taught is not according to the Bible and that EVERYONE must change some things
there is no right religion since ALL denominations are completely Babylon apostate now and NONE follow the word of God
there is more money to be made that way

so
do not look to convert any more anyone

that is no longer possible
we are in the end days and the day of the Lord arrives and a day of destruction and a day of howling and a day of gnashing of teeth

why?
God is going to remove the hardened hearted ones who keep causing soft hearted children to stumble
he wiill remove all the false pastors false politicians, hollywood internet and all the devils devices that keep confusing us and we will be on our own with the Bible
very few will remain but those who remain have good hearts, our children who were trapped and the people who never had to learn the truth but would have if it wasnt for the evil pastors trying to rip them off of every dollar they have

so wait

the Day of the Lord arrives shortly
go into your house and shut the door

and read read read read read read read and pray your life to the maximum

I woulde really really encourage you to buy a new living Bible while you can
it is awesome when using together with King james and NIV to show the forest and not the trees

anyway do not be discouraged
post the truth
if someone argues they dont have the spirit
since the spirit of truth loves the truth
go on to the next post

there are one or two who will be alive after the day of the Lord and then we will meet and go up to "Jerusalem" to worship (not the Israel jerusalem) the people of God who follow and love his word

anyway that is the answer to your uestion

in short

no
people dont want the truth
ithey lke their sins, their church, their big screen TV their internet and they will soon perish to be removed stumbling blocks

read amos hosea habbakuk zephania in new living version it is a quick read
those are FUTURE events

since obviously today we still have animals and cities and then we wont have them they will have died.

read read read

you know a true heart

you put up a Bible text and they say
Oh, that is new, I never knew that! I must change!

there are about 100,000 of them on the entire planet
the rest are fodder for the ravens

Ezekiel 8:14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.
Ezekiel 8:15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.
"Ishtar", which is pronounced "Easter" was a day that commemorated the resurrection of one of their gods that they called "Tammuz", who was believed to be the only begotten son of the moon-goddess and the sun-god."

the liturgical calendar of the Church is the means by which the Church teaches the mysteries of Christ and his gospel every year. The Church does not worship pagan gods or goddesses.
That you desire to observe certain OT traditions and disregard the teachings of the Church does not make your position "the Truth", that the Church can trace its traditions to the apostolic age gives it far more validity than your tradition.

With that being said, I respect you and am impressed with your knowledge of scripture and always enjoy reading your commentaries. And I believe as long as Yeshua is given all the glory then YHWH will bless you as he will also bless us who follow the traditional church teachings.

Christ be with you always.

Maybe I take a more innocent approach than some of you in regards to, so called, "pagan holidays." Things like Christmas, Halloween, and Easter for example. Maybe their origins were from paganism. However, who is to say that origins define events and that time doesn't evolve the meaning (behind these events)? Maybe Halloween had to do with a pagan god and dressing up in masks, and murders, but in this day and age, no one (a large majority, 99.9%) take Halloween as a time to dress up and eat candy. Literally, it isn't any deeper than that. I was raised in a Christian-household, and we "celebrated" Halloween. I dressed up as werewolves, Dracula, and whatever else. I was dressing up as things I watched in horror movies, characters that I knew were "scary" or had interesting stories behind them.

So, you see that a "special day" may have had origins that were pagan, but over time its celebration has nothing to do with its origins and everything to do with how current society defines it. And how is that, in regards to Halloween for example? A day to be creative in your appearance and go get some free candy to enjoy. Its not any deeper than that. With Christmas, putting gifts under the tree is not giving gifts to some goddess, or god. Its putting the presents in a place that the family will revolve around and open gifts and share experiences with. The tree itself? Its a symbol that represents Christmas and that time of year. It may have had pagan origins, but no one is doing any holiday with any pagan god in mind or rituals. God looks at the heart, and thats the truth of the matter and what its summed up to.

I believe in consulting the word of the Creator of the heavens and earth, and submitting to it.

Deuteronomy 12:3, "You must destroy their altars, break down their sacred pillars and burn their sacred poles. Cut down the images of their gods and wipe out their names from those places. You must not worship Yahweh your Father in such ways."

My Savior saved me so I could do what Yahweh wants, not so I can do as the heathen.
