Joh 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

1Jn 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
1Jn 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Gal 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Eph 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
Eph 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

Eph 2:6 (ERV) Yes, it is because we are a part of Christ Jesus that God raised us from death and seated us together with him in the heavenly places. [Because we are in Christ Jesus]

Joh 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Joh 6:48 I am that bread of life.
Joh 6:49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
Joh 6:50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
Joh 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
Joh 6:52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
Joh 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
Joh 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Joh 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
Joh 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
Joh 6:57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
Joh 6:58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that
eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

Eph 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

When we believe the gospel and receive Jesus as lord, a part of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost comes in our hearts, we are then born of the Spirit of God, and therefore are born again. This is not some light work or small thing that God has done in us and to us.

Eze 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and [that spirit will] cause you to walk in my statutes, and [shall cause you to] keep my judgments, and do them.

This is what He has done in us.
Notice the old heart that God has replaced with a fresh one, like that of a new born baby. Not only does He put a new heart in us but a new or fresh spirit man. Then He puts His Spirit in that new spirit man to cause us both to will and do of His good pleasure, which is, walking in His statutes, and keeping His judgments, and doing them. Our spirit man is then created like God, because God has taken a part of the Spirit of the Father, the Son, and Holy Ghost, at that time, and put it in our spirit man and so they dwell or abide within it. Just like He did in the old testament temple, in the holy of holies. When the bible says that He dwells in our hearts, it is because our spirit man IS in our hearts.
Then He takes a part of our newly created fresh spirit man and puts it in Christ Jesus. That is how we are in Christ and of the body of Christ, and seated in heavenly places, because where Christ is, there we are also. That is why Jesus asked Paul, or Saul at that time, 'why persecutest thou me?', and again, Mat 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Because Christ was in them.

Joh 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Joh 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

When we don't bear good fruit, God will and does us, His children, but does not take our salvation from us, because a part of us still abides in Him, and a part of Him abides in our spirit man. 'He taketh away', mean out of the land of the living.
We are not the physical body, and that is not what got born again.

Joh 6:28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
Joh 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

As for works of faith, it is believing in the Son of God. To believe in the Word of God, is to believe in the Son of God. If you keep the Word of God in your hearts, you keep the Son of God, for Jesus is the Word of God the Father.

1Jn 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Salvation is not a matter of condition of the heart
that is antichrist theology

all men have sinned
all have done wickedly

Jesus says go and sin no more

salvation is a matter of repentance and God forgives and makes you walk the right way giving up the life of sin

salvation is a matter of bel;ioeving in following and obeying Jesus
that is what a disciple is
a FOLLOWER of JEsus
nothing about the heart
about the repentance and obedience
Jesus forgives sin and then he says sanctify yourseof
walk according to the light from now on

any other gosp[el is the false gospel

Yeah it really is a heart matter.
all men have sinned
all have done wickedly
True that is why we must be born again. We need to be quickened by the Holy Spirit.
Jesus says go and sin no more
OK how's that going for you? John said if we say we have not sin we lie which is a sin.
salvation is a matter of repentance and God forgives and makes you walk the right way giving up the life of sin
That is what takes a change of heart. Right?
salvation is a matter of bel;ioeving in following and obeying Jesus
that is what a disciple is
a FOLLOWER of JEsus
nothing about the heart
about the repentance and obedience
All of which requires a change in the heart.
Jesus forgives sin and then he says sanctify yourseof
walk according to the light from now on
More of the changed heart works. The old heart does not desire holiness or purity. The new heart does.

know1 quoted plenty of Scripture to support his position, so it is clear to me he does read his Bible.
Good works that are truly pleasing to God can only come from a changed heart. And only a humble person who can see his need for a changed heart will admit to God that he needs this change and cannot do it himself.
Good works do not cause salvation. Good works follow salvation. A man who continues unrepentant in sin has never been saved, no matter what he bows his head and says. He can fool men, but he cannot fool God.
The born-again believer will endeavor to do right, not because it will get him saved or keep him saved, but just because it is right. This is what the Word of God means when it says that by their fruits (works) you shall know them (Matt. 7:16).

Perhaps sir, you did not understand my thread.
But, if you want to make a point, it might carry some weight if you used scripture.
And how did you know I have more than one bible translation?

How is this antichrist?
Where do you think repentance and faith come from?
And please read the gospels before you talk about something you obviously know nothing about. That's almost all Jesus dealt with.
