Ezekiel 37:11-24
11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say , Our bones are dried , and our hope is lost : we are cut off for our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live , and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
15 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying ,
16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying , Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?
19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone , and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned , and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. 24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd : they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

Ephraim represents the tribes captured by the Syrian Empire before Judah was captured by the Babylonians. To this day those tribes captured by the Syrians have not returned to Israel, but this prophecy says they will, and become connected with Judah. The word Jew is short for Judah. Ephraim, therefore are not Jews.

[SUP]3 [/SUP]And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

God's people started joining to Christ 2000 years ago...

Gentiles are included...

The Spirit in them means that God is in them and they are not alone.

Do the scattered have the Word and the Spirit in then?

Regards to you...

The Church is the spiritual Israel. Romans 9:6-8.
There is no mention of the Church in that passage. It is referring to the remnant (true Jewish believers).

Romans 9:6-8 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

But in saying that the true Jewish believers are israel, what are you implying? Do you see?

God has one people, not a divided group. Two flocks have been brought into one under one Shepherd (John 10:16).

Israel is Israel, the Church is the Church. There are promises e.g. land promises, that only belong to Israel, not the Church. The Abrahamic covenant had more to it than spiritual promises.

There are so many ways that the bible uses the name Israel, starting with the name given Jacob after his spiritual battle.

I like the definition that Hitchcock Bible Dictionary give to Israel: who prevails with God.

After Christ came to unite the Jews and Gentiles, making the bible speak of them as one people as God always saw us, Israel is simply every human who accepts the Lord as their King and Savior.

"The Israel of God" that Paul refers to in Gal 6v14-16 IS the Church, the Body of Christ!

It's that simple! :p

Ezek 37v1-28 is a reference to the actual resurrection of "the whole house of Israel" at the end of this age at the second Coming of Christ! Job 19v25-27, Isaiah 26v19, Dan 12v1,2, John 5v29, Rev 11v15-18

Now that wasn't difficult, was it!

You can find a short study Here on the issues of death and eternal judgement...

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
(Gal 6:14-16)

Again, it doesn't say Church.
Israel of God is referring to the believing remnant of Jews who have embraced Jesus.

Israel of God is referring to the believing remnant of Jews who have embraced Jesus.
Nonsense, in the same Epistle (written to the Churches in Galatia due to the problem of Judaizers trying to corrupt them from the way of "GRACE") it states:

Gal 3v28:

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus." (also see Eph 2v11-22)

Under the New Covenant, the Church (the Body of Christ) is the "Israel" of God (ie those who are justified by faith in the Living God)!

Don't try and manufacture something that is NOT there, Paul certainy NOWHERE in the NT states that Jewish believers (in Christ) are somehow different from any other (Gentile) believer in Christ, INDEED, He goes out of his way to state the VERY opposite (we are ALL ONE in Christ)! Rom 10v12, Gal 3v28, Col 3v11

Yahweh Shalom...

Believing Jews and Gentiles is the Church during this church age. Many OT promises are yet to be fulfilled concerning Israel that does not concern the Church e.g, the Great Tribulation/Jacob's Trouble.
I have yet to see a Scripture that shows Church=Israel, aka, replacement theology.
