I believe that we do not know when "the end of the world" will come. But, if I were to make a guess, I'd guess less than 106 years. But this is just a shot in the dark. I personally believe that we have been in "the last days" since the first testament church (or if it makes more sense - the last half of the "week" of time. Jesus was here on 'Wednesday" and we are now in "Friday". Yeah, I know that sounds crazy, but that's where I am right now (yeah, crazy...I said it so that y'all didn't have to). I don't think that it is wise however to try to pick at date. When it doesn't happen we look like idiots and it causes the lost to think we don't have a clue what we're talking about. I know that not all of us believe these prediction dates, but the non-believer lumps us all together in their thinking.

bravo, of course no date will be picked, as only the Father knows the date and time, but we are admonished to be aware that the end might be near? Take one interesting prophecy, the re-appearing of the Jewish state we know as Israel (1948), when that happens we know we are in the end stadium, as that generation will not pass (die) before the time is filled. Of course the question is now, how long is a generation? Research and show ones Bible wisdom, (I have none), be blessed and why not?

Have you ever listened to Steve Gregg and his lecture on Revelations?

The end times started when Jesus ascended into heaven. Each generation since then has lived with the anticipation that Christ could return at any moment. As a generation we are certainly living in prophetic times today with the establishment of Israel as a nation, with the falling away of the church, with humanity with the capability of self annihilation.
I do not know how much longer until The Lord returns, but the stage is being set for his return.

I agree with your first two sentences. I don't believe Israel as a nation has anything to do with Christ's return. Nor do I believe that Christ church will ever fall away, some local churches, yes, some people in the church, yes. All the churches John wrote about in Revelation 2 and 3 existed back in the 1st century but where are they today? Gone! But God's Word clearly states that the gates of Hades will never prevail against the church, and through out biblical history God always had a remnant. Lastly, are humans in charge of the earths destruction? Or is God? It is my understanding that the destruction of the earth as we know is reserved for God to do.

Yes we are living in the end times and Christ's return will be soon.

When exactly? We don't know. But be assured that Christ will come to catch His bride away before the time of Jacob's trouble begins.

Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

What is the context of "that"?

Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

So if it is not knowing when heaven and earth will pass away, the "belief" that no one knows when Christ is returning may not be the context of the verse.

However, I lean that we do not know when His return will be based on this verse:

Mat_24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Mar_13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

I've been following Joseph Dumond of Sighted Moon | Prove All Things for several years. Joseph's expertise is in over 20 years researching the dates of past Jubilees and Sabbatical years. There are many who endorse his work as being accurate. Basing his work that we are given on earth with man ruling 120 cycles. (Gen_6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.)

Sighted Moon | Sabbatical & Jubilee Chart

He has pinpointed that we are in the 119th cycle and that on Tishri 1 of 2045 CE will be the start of the 120th cycle. What does that mean? It means Christ could return (cutting the days short) anytime between now and then,

Anyone know by calendar of reckoning what the date of Tishri 1, 2045 CE is? September 12th, but the "conjunction (dark) moon" falls on September 11th. Could this be how Christ "shortens" those days? Don't know, just stay ready and alert.

Oh, and one more observation of cutting those days short....September 11th, 2026 is also "conjunction moon" for the 7th month.

Why do I think Christ will return in "darkness"? Because the only light we see in His coming is Him.

Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

When supernatural things (explained in the Revelation) come true:
1) when Elijah will convert through supernatural miracles (killing people by burning and by tearing to peices) jews in christiany.
2) when the last bishop of Rome (true Elijah) will accept tiara under name of Peter II
3) when false prophet (pseudo-Elijah) also will perform supernatiral miracles (killing and burning people) gathering all humans under the sole global citizenship (reign of Antichrist)
4) when eight ecumenical (by the orthodox counting) council headed by Enoch and Elijah will unite whole christiny under one confession (exept of the Great Babylonic Whore Church)
5) when cursed marks of Antichrist (laid on humans forehead and on right hand) will be substituting globally any ID and any money
6) when chosen christians tought by Elijah and Enoch will be practizing shapeshifting = turning themselves temporary into eagles (as the revelation proclaim about last church Rev. 12:14) for free travelling without the cursed marks
7) when the temple of Jerusalem will be restored
8) when false Christ will be becoming a ruler over the whole earth.

that times will be the last.
And untill coming of the supernatural deads (begining of Elijah miracles) we can not call this times as the last.

OK we need some facts: Source => Gods Word: There is a promise in the bible that rings out almost louder than all the others. And that is God's Promise to, in the End of Time, return the Jews to the very Homeland that they were driven out of in 70 AD by the Romans. All through Scripture it sounds out loud and clear:

"And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it
shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be
left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from
Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth." Isaiah 11:10-12

Are we living in the end times
Yes, without a doubt...

how much longer before Christ return
How long is a bit of string?

The signs that Christ told us (the Church) to look out for have not appeared yet...Matt 24v3,15, Dan 9v27, 11v31, 12v11, 2Thess 2v1-12

However, when they do, He will surely come quickly! Rev 22v20

Yahweh Shalom...

Are we in the end times? Absolutely! But that is nothing new. The end times started when Christ first spoke and said "These are the end times". It is He who stated the we are the end times. So it's been the end times for about 2000 years. Remember.... A day to God is like a thousand years to man. Unfortunately false prophets/teachers have used this end times to make it look like it just started and everything is almost over. Many have perished because of this. It is the end times but in scriptural context, it been for quite a while. How do we know it's the very last of the days right before his return? For that, He gave us signs. And boy..... Most are missing it!

that word 'generation'... it can mean like parents to children... a generation... or it can mean 'race or people'... as in the Jewish people won't pass away until... something like that... :)

yes, we are living in the last days... but it may not be what people sometimes mean by that...

some bible verses...

acts chap 2
[SUP]16 [/SUP]But this is what has been spoken through the prophet Joel: [SUP]17 [/SUP]‘It will be in the last days, says God,
that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh.

so it was the last days when Peter spoke to the crowd...
also,

Hebrews 1
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

grace and peace to you!

IMHO and others, the OT Prophecies has to do with Israel and not the Church.
Many of these prophecies have as yet to be fulfilled.
The regathering of the Jews back into their land is a foretaste of things shortly to come,
stay tuned.
