Lets look at where we are. How long could eternity be away? The Gospel has reached almost everywhere by some method. Also, how much more wicked does it need to be for it to be like the days of Noah? How far do Christians have to fall for us to notice a great falling away? Earthquakes are increasing statistically. How long would it take in modern days to rebuild the temple in Israel? How close we could be is amazing.

I just wanted to answer your question about the third temple. They asked the architect who drew up blue prints for the third temple based on Ezekiel's vision and he told reporters that if approved he could have it done with his crew in 6 months to a year. He also added that if other crews jumped in and helped as he believes will happen then they could even have it done in as short as 3 months.

I believe that is key. As soon as the politics go through we could see the man of sin sitting in the temple in three months.

So you think Christians will 'be here' during that time or raptured?

are we supposed to live differently if we know the end is in 3 months?

iirc the life & light we're called to is an eternal one :)

even so, haste the day!

Doesn't matter. Let's focus on helping people come to Christ, while we still have time. The temple in Israel was most likely the temple of Jerusalem, destroyed around 70AD, when Jerusalem was destroyed. We still have to await the Great Judgment and the New Heavens and the New Earth etc.

You all sound so foolish. The Lord tells us to watch. He tells us to disern the signs of the times. Are you afraid to be motivated by the facts? That my friend is lukewarm attitude. What does come soon Lord mean to you? You are not going to be excited? He is coming for those who are watching for Him He said. So should you really care less?

There will be a third Temple, prefab already hidden in Israel, a Levite child, young man being trained in the laws of Leviticus and the rest of the books of Moses.
In the 9th chapter of the book of Daniel, we read a prophecy about the coming end times. The New Testament calls it the Great Tribulation, the Old Testament calls it the 'time of Jacob's trouble', but they both are speaking of the same event. This event is a 7-year period, preceded by the Rapture, which kicks off the start of the 7 years of tribulation.

What Daniel Saw

"Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." Daniel 9:24-27

The Temple rebuilt, but taken over by the Antichrist

Daniel was given a vision far into the future, pointing to a time when the Jewish Temple would be
rebuilt. The Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD, and for nearly 2,000 years
now it has laid in ruins, with just parts of the Temple walls and some of the foundations remaining.
Watchers of end times bible prophecy have long speculated as to whether or not the Temple would be built for a third time. But Daniel, verse 27, clearly sees that there is a rebuilt Temple.

"And he (the antichrist) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." Daniel 9:27

How can you have sacrifice and oblations ceasing if there is no Temple from which to have sacrifices
and oblations? Clearly there needs to be a working, functioning, rebuilt Temple, and the only place
where God would allow a Temple to be built is exactly where the ruins of the last one now stand.
But as previously stated, this Temple will be taken over, as Daniel the prophet foresaw, but the Lawless One, commonly known as the Antichrist, at exactly three and one half years after the start of the Time of Jacob's Trouble. This Temple will not be the LORD's temple, the Glory of God will not inhabit it.

The widely-disseminated Arab Moslem position that the Temple Mount is not Jewish has been debunked - by the Supreme Moslem Council (Waqf) of Jerusalem, in a Temple Mount guide published in 1925.

In 1997, the chief Muslim cleric of the Palestinian Authority, Mufti Ikrama Sabri, stated, "The claim of the Jews to the right over [Jerusalem] is false, and we recognize nothing but an entirely Islamic Jerusalem under Islamic supervision..." Thus began a campaign to convince the world that the millennia-old natural association between Jerusalem and Jews was untrue. As Islamic Movement chief Raed Salah stated in 2006, "We remind, for the 1,000th time, that the entire Al-Aqsa mosque [on the Temple Mount], including all of its area and alleys above the ground and under it, is exclusive and absolute Moslem property, and no one else has any rights to even one grain of earth in it." However, it is now known that this "absolute" Moslem claim is actually not as absolute as claimed. In fact, back in 1925, the Supreme Moslem Council - also known as the Waqf, which has overseen Temple Mount activities on behalf of the Moslem religion for hundreds of years - boasted proudly that the site was none other than that of Solomon's Temple.

The Jerusalem-based Temple Institute reports that it has acquired a copy of the official 1925 Supreme Moslem Council Guide Book to Al-Haram Al-Sharif (the Moslem name for the Temple Mount). On page 4, the Waqf states, "Its identity with the site of Solomon's Temple is beyond dispute. This, too, is the spot, according to universal belief, on which 'David built there an altar unto the L-rd...', citing the source in 2 Samuel XXIV,25.

Our lord wants none to perish! my kids are young just beginning their walk with the lord but they are saved by the lords blood. [SUP]13 [/SUP]“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. [SUP]14 [/SUP]But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. If you know what happens to people when the lord comes back !! I would want as many people as the lord wants to give a chance at repentance. I want to be in eternity but also other people also needs to have that chance.

Not true sooooo many places in the world left to evangelize its mind boggling
Not even sure if I know what it means like the days of Noah since I was assured there will never be another flood I can't wrap my mind around your analogy or the context.
How far do Christians have to fall for us to notice a falling away? Cant grasp this.
The rest of the questions well I'll just say I don't get how this helps win the souls of the fallen or them falling away or them that remain since you think the gospel has been so many places.

Hi there pastac! I checked out the Joshua project website. Went over some of their media.

According to the website that you are getting your information from, if you will pay close attention, you will find there is currently an exponential increase in the rate of conversions to Christ. And the rate is increasing more. At the current rate, they are planning to have the Last Languages translated or well on the way to translated by 2025. That is a mere 11 years from now.

We know that Noah spent quite a long time building the Ark. So 11 years to have the ability to literally reach the rest of the languages is not a very long time at all.

What is stated by the Lord that near the end it will be like the days of Noah before the flood is easy to understand. Just like the people thought Noah was crazy for building a boat in the middle of the land, people are calling Christians crazy for evangelizing and saying, "The End is near!" Though in the world we have relative peace, with respect to the larger picture, and not counting the political badmouthing and tribal wars going on. And people say, "what end? We know the end is coming, the Sun will supernova someday. Big deal. But that probably won't happen to us." You know people say this?

People quickly forget about their own end, and assume the end does not apply to them somehow. And these words come out of the mouths of the people who have heard Jesus Christ.

As well, though I respect the work the Joshua project endeavors to perform, I do not agree with their numbers. They assume that people are not reached in places wherein they are not able to find the information. That's not good to me. How can you know who is reached if you yourself haven't reached them? As well, they assume that a lot of the people that are saved are reached and that people who are not reached are unsaved. These are still assumptions. I opened up one of the excel files and it is full of tons of information. These people are focused and are doing well. And they admit that people are not numbers, but are living individuals. So I have a hard time understanding the necessity for focus on the numbers still.

And you say you are assured there will never be another flood. But the next flood is not in the form of water, but in the form of fire. It almost seems like you are deliberately speaking in ignorance, but I know you're not, so I'm not sure what case you are attempting to make by saying such things. I merely ask, I do not accuse.

Christians should not have to fall to notice a falling away. But if Christians are falling, then the falling away is only recognized when they fall beside someone that is not falling! So the answer is that Christians should not be falling at all and will recognize they are when they witness a greater righteousness. The churches are largely corrupt today, and willfully, since the gospel is in plain sight for everyone to see. It may be that these are the very ones of which the Lord speaks concerning the end, that these will be eating and drinking and giving into marriage and speaking great things against the Lord. Atheists can't blaspheme for they know not what they speak against. But those that claim to belong to the Lord, these are the ones who blaspheme for they should know what they speak against.

The gospel has been so many places. And the Joshua project actually proves that. The numbers of the not reached that you post are not accurate. There is a number that is unsaved, but there is not a number that is not reached. Or do you think the Lord allowed many people to go through their lineages without any salvation at all? The gospel has drawn a perimeter around the globe many times in all directions.

On the Joshua project site, you also find that 1/3 of Turkish Christian converts converted not because of any missionary, but because the Lord spoke to them in a vision. That's a lot of vision! I've never heard of such a great miracle or change ever. 1/3 of Turkish Christians are Pauls!

I do not know the day of the end, by any means. But I see all the signs to understand that this world is in for a big change soon, whether it be simply the end of this age only, or the end of the world, that we will soon learn. I imagine it is better for everyone to understand that the Lord means business. That does help save souls. Or else the Lord would not have said for the last 2000 years, "The End is near!" To us, that seems like a long time to say such a thing, but if He hadn't said it, people would not have thought it. And yet also it is true, for if there had only been 2000 years left only, that would have been a short time compared to the time of our existence and to the time of our eternity indeed.
