2 Tim 3:15-16

16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

As we read and study the scriptures, God has been pleased at times to give us certain light and understanding on a particular portion of scripture; and as we feel the desire to testify to that Truth, it at times is difficult in placing it in any given Thread. So I would like to introduce a thread that is designed for varied Truth's of scripture, not really given to any certain subject, but yet its Truth the same.

The first scripture passage i will begin with is 2 Tim 1:9-10

9Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

10But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

What death is abolished, and what light and immortality is brought to light via the Gospel ?

Now in a real sense Christ hath abolished even physical death, but that only to be the last enemy to be manifested as destroyed at His Second Coming, when it will be declared 1 Cor 15:54-55,51-52

54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

And at His coming, some Saints will have never tasted of physical death, which will indicate the abolishment of death physically vs

51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

But yet, even in this present life Christ by His death hath for the elect of God, hath abolished spiritual death, which by nature they are born dead in trespasses and sins Eph 2:1,5

1And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved )

This being dead, is a death that Christ hath abolished. The word abolished is the greek word katargeō and means:

to render idle, unemployed, inactivate, inoperative

a) to cause a person or thing to have no further efficiency

b) to deprive of force, influence, power

2) to cause to cease, put an end to, do away with, annul, abolish

a) to cease, to pass away, be done away

b) to be severed from, separated from, discharged from, loosed from any one

c) to terminate all intercourse with one

Yes, for those whom Christ died and abolished death for, He for them causes spiritual death to cease, He puts an end to it, He annuls or abolishes it. Now How does He do that ?

Made Sinners and Made Righteous !

Rom 5:19

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Now what does this mean, that by one man's sin or disobedience many were made made sinners ? and likewise by obeidnece of one man many shall be made Righteous .

Its like this, both Adam and Christ acted as Heads / Represenatives to their descendants in them by the purpose of God. Let it be clear now, both Heads only stood as Heads of the Elect of God, the Church, Adam as their Natural Head in the flesh, and Christ as their Spiritual Head. Now by the disobedience of Adam, their Natural head, all the descendants as an consequence do partake of a depraved nature, meaning that was the effect of his transgression, his natural descendants are born with a nature that is at enmity with God, one that opposes God and not submitted to God and they are seen to be practicing sinners.

But now, by the obedience of Christ, also acting as the Head and Represenative of the same ones, The Church, His Body, and His descendants Isa 53:10, and as a effect or consequence of it, His Obedience, those descendants of His Partake of a Holy Divine Nature that reconciles them to God 2 Pet 1:4

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature [New Birth], having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

When the Church sinned in Adam, that act became legally theirs and so a nature was given to correspond, but when the Church obeyed in Christ, that Obedience became legally theirs, and a Nature is given in correspondence , and so made actively Righteous !496

The sin of the world taken away !

Jn 1:29

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

When John the Baptist made this proclamation, it was no lie, for the sin of the world has been taken away, that sin being what started it, the sin of Adam and the world he represented. Now Adam did represent the world that shall be conformed into the Image of Christ, the one right here Rom 8:29

29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

Yes Adam was the federal head of those God foreknew, predestinated to be conformed to the Image of Christ.

Remember Adam was Created in the Image and Likeness of God Gen 1:26

And God said , Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Gen 5:1-2

This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

Now Christ is the Image of God from these scriptures Heb 1:2-3

2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

Col 1:15

15 Who [Christ] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

2 Cor 4:4

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

And notice what scripture said even more Rom 5:14

14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

The word figure is Tupos:

the mark of a stroke or blow, print
a figure formed by a blow or impression of a figure or image
of the image of the gods

form

For Adam was created in the Image and Likeness of God, the Last Adam !

And be that as it is, all mankind in Adam were Created in the Image and Likeness of the Last Adam also, and so the Last Adam recovers them from the fall, and fulfills God's Purpose of all of them being conformed into the Image of His Son Rom 8:29

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

And these are the Elect of God, So Jesus took away the sin of that World. Secondly The Lamb of God took away the sin of that world that comprised all the names of those individuals whose names were written in the Lambs Book of Life Rev 13:8

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

That's what John the Baptist knew and made reference to in Jn 1:29. John knew the Lamb came to die for His Wife, His Bride Jn 3:29

He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

Its the World of His Wife, the Bride Chosen Him by His Father. It needs to be said often, but Adam was not the Federal Head of all mankind without exception, for never was in Him the Serpents Seed or Offspring in the beginning when Created in the Image and Likeness of GodGen 3:14-15 ! Adam was the federal head of the same ones the Last Adam is the Federal Head of, His Body the Church ! That's the World in Jn 1:29, the Church, the Body of Christ !497

I am the bread of Life !

Jn 6:48,51

48 I am that bread of life.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

When Jesus says here that He is the Bread of Life, He does not mean that physically as in how we physically eat bread with a sandwhich, but He means it Spiritually ,

He says that I am the Living Bread, which camd down from Heaven, the Virgin birth did not make Him this Living Bread, He was always up in Heaven as the Living Bread.

Now what kind of man would living bread from heaven be for ? Well I tell you the Truth, God is not the God of the dead but of the Living Matt 22:32 ! Did you know that all for whom Christ died, that they were made alive together with Him when God raised Him from the dead ? Eph 2:5-6

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Notice Vs 5 hath quickened us together with Christ, in the greek suzwopoievw and means:

to make one alive together of Christians, with Christ

It involves the word Zoopoieo :

to produce alive, begat or bear living young
to cause to live, make alive, give life by spiritual power to arouse and invigorate
to restore to life
to give increase of life: thus of physical life
of the spirit, quickening as respects the spirit, endued with new and greater powers of life

metaph., of seeds quickened into life, i.e. germinating, springing up, growing

Now listen, all for whom He died and rose again in behalf of, even when they were by nature dead in sins, they had been made alive together with Christ, God considered them among the Living together with the resurrected Christ their Head.

And the People to whom Christ the Living Bread would be bread to, are Spiritually Living People . This is why Jesus said in Jn 6:33

For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

As the Bread of Life, to those He is the Bread of Life unto, He is giving life to them, spiritual life, giveth life is a present tense active particple, and He as the Bread of Life is actually giving, not offering or making available, but giving Spiritual Life unto the World, Jn 3:16, the World God Loved.

This Bread is not a Nourishment for a dead man; For tell me what good would it do to give bread to a dead man with no life ? Bread Nourishes Life ! The Man after God's Own Image was made to enjoy Bread from Heaven Matt 4:4

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Job 23:12

12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

But if a Man has Life from the dead, in this case from the Spiritual dead, the Bread of Heaven is most seasonable for him; For bread which cometh from above, is meet only for those Born from above Jn 3:3

3 Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God.

Did you know born again also means born from above ? Remember that those Christ died for did rise together with Him and were seated together with Him above Eph 2:5-6

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved )

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places [above] in Christ Jesus:

Col 3:1

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Well, that's where we get our New Birth from, where it is hid in Christ above, even when we were dead in sin. So Christ quickenes us with that Life we have from above with Him 1 Cor 15:45

45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening[life giving] spirit.

We are then born from above, S those who shall eat of the Bread of Life must be first born from above Jn 6:51

51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.498

The Words I speak to you are Spirit and Life !

Jn 6:63

63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

These words that Jesus spoke applies only to those He came to give Life unto, recall back in Jn 6:33

33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

And the World here is that of His Sheep, or the His Church, for later He does say Jn 10:10-11

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they [THE SHEEP] might have life, and that they[THE SHEEP] might have it more abundantly.

11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

That Life that He came to give His Sheep is that same Life He speaketh of in Jn 6:33 so the World is of His Sheep ! And so the words that He is Speaking are to them Spirit and Life, that is He is not speaking of those who are Spiritually dead. To those who are alive, the Gospel is Life unto Life 2 Cor 2:16

16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

That's what Jesus means about His words are Spirit and they are Life. The Gospel or Jesus words profit nothing to them who are only in the flesh, Christ words are Spirit and they are Life if He is Our Life, He is Our Eternal Spiritual Life ! 499

Did Adam represent the whole human race ?

As I read different commentators, even the more sound ones, all of them error in this one point, they think that Adam was Federal Head for all humanity without exception, however my position is that Adam was only the Federal Head for the Church, as was Christ.

You see, scripture declares that Adam was made in the Image and Likeness of God Gen 1:26 / Christ is the Image of God 2 Cor 4:4

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

So Adam was made in the Image and Likeness of Christ. This appears to be accurate for that Adam is stated to to be figure of Him to come Rom 5:14

14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

That word figure Tupos :

the mark of a stroke or blow, print
a figure formed by a blow or impression of a figure or image
of the image of the gods

form the teaching which embodies the sum and substance of religion and represents it to the mind, manner of writing, the contents and form of a letter

an example in the technical sense, the pattern in conformity to which a thing must be made

in an ethical sense, a dissuasive example, a pattern of warning of ruinous events which serve as admonitions or warnings to others

an example to be imitated of men worthy of imitation

in a doctrinal sense of a type i.e. a person or thing prefiguring a future (Messianic) person or thing

And Heb 2:14

14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

The Children we believe to be the elect or seed of Abraham in Adam at the Creation, hence the rest of mankind belong to the serpent, his seed which he sewed as per Matt 13:24-28

24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

25 But while men[Adam] slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

The Children of the Kingdom, the good seed, are those in Adam , made in the Image and Likeness of God !

The seed of the serpent was added after the fall to eve's conception, and now instead of Her and Husband bearing Children for the Godly Seed, they would also bear children for the ungodly seed of the serpent. You see for the furtherance of the Purpose of God, satans children must have a physical and biological inlet into the world, and God made His erring Children in Adam and Eve that means; However in the very beginning they were to propagate the Godly Seed Mal 2:15

15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed[The Elect in Christ]. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

So originally only the Godly seed transgressed in Adam, for remember, Eve actually transgressed 1 Tim 2:14 and the Seed Christ was in Her Lineage Gen 3:15

15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman [Eve], and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

It would be Eve's Seed that would destroy the Works of the Devil. So Christ came only to recover the Seed of the Women, the Godly Seed by His Redemptive Work, His Kinsmen Lk 19:10 ; Heb 2:16-17.

Now this is why Paul can draw the parallel in Rom 5:12ff of Adam's headship and Christ's, both being for the same People, and the serpent seed element being excluded Rom 5:14

14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression[The serpents seed had not], who is the figure of him that was to come.501

Did Adam represent the whole human race ? 2

Christ came for His Own to save which is clear Matt 1:21

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Now would not these be those who in the beginning were created in His Image and Likeness, I would say so, will not those He came to redeem, shall they not be conformed unto His ImageRom 8:29

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Hence all men made in Adam in the beginning had a predestinated destiny to be fully conformed to the Image of Christ or they would not have been Created in the Image of God in the first place; For God's Purpose of Grace unto them is Immutable, for we believe that all men in Adam from the beginning are also represented here when Jesus shall say unto them Matt 25:34

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:502

Christ said His flesh is true food and His blood is true drink. The Greek here for true, means actual or is truly. Christ allowed His disciples to walk away, never correcting them or stating that He was being symbolic, instead, He turns to Hear s apostles and asks if they are leaving too.

Redeemed from the curse of the law !

Jn 8:24

24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

For anyone to die in their sins and unbelief as here indicated, simply means this, that we have not been redeemed from the curse of the Law Gal 3:13, for the sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the Law 1 Cor 15:56

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. because sin is transgression of the law 1 Jn 3:4 and the curse brings upon God's Wrath Matt 25:41

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

So for one whom Christ died, for he or she to die in unbelief and in their sins, that would overthrow the redemption that His Blood accomplished Gal 3:13

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Gal 4:4-5

4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.503

Rom 5:18 Judgment to condemnation !

Rom 5:18

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

All men to condemnation ! Does this speak of God's Elect ? Yes, it most certainly does, God's Elect in Adam did incur Judgment unto condemnation, and btw, I am a firm believer that just as Christ's Headship is restricted to His Body the Church, so did Adam's His Type; Adam's the type, his headship was for the Church, the Body of Christ in their natural flesh and blood lives, which in Adam they did acquire condemnation/damnation and whereas Christ's Headship was for the Church the Body, for their Spiritual Lives and in Him they do acquire Justification of life.

Now back to the Truth regarding the elect in adam incurring damnation Rom 5:18a, and yes it was a very real condemnation and rightly deserved by them, HOWEVER, that condemnation of theirs, God because of a previous Eternal engagement, known as the Everlasting Covenant, in which the Lord Jesus Christ became a Surety for them, so that the sentence of condemnation they acquired, instead of God charging it upon them, He according to the Covenant arrangement charged their crimes and condemnation to Christ ! And God looked solely unto Him, not them, to satisyfy His Law and Justice, to pay the uttermost farthing.

And so it left them uncharged for their own self inflicted crimes, and Christ instead. For if their condemnation had not been real, they it would have been no need for Christ's Suretyship and the Cross, No need for the Incarnation and He being made under the Law Gal 4:4-5

4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

5 To redeem them that were under the law
, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Gal 3:13

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse [or condemnation] of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Now this blessed Truth means that all God's Elect, because of Christ's Eternal Suretyship for them, it means they were Justified from condemnation incurred Rom 5:18a in the Counsel of the Everlasting Covenant before time began !504

Dead to sins First, then made alive unto God !

1 Pet 2:24

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

When did those whom Christ bare their sins in His own body, when did they become dead to sins ?

Listen, all for whom Christ died, are by His Death for them ALONE made to be dead to sins, in order that, and what follows that, they live unto Righteousness or live unto God !

However the key Gospel Truth and point here to be observed is that before they live unto Righteousness or are made alive unto God, they are first by Christ's Death alone ,made dead to sins, which is the same Truth Paul writes of here in Rom 7:4

4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ;that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Here its stated a little different, its stated that those Christ died for are made dead to the Law and how ? By the body of Christ, again meaning by the death of Christ, that's why Peter could write they are dead to sins, since the strength of sin is the Law 1 Cor 15:56

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 505

I am the bread of Life !

Jn 6:48,51

48 I am that bread of life.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

When Jesus says here that He is the Bread of Life, He does not mean that physically as in how we physically eat bread with a sandwhich, but He means it Spiritually
Amen! Jesus is the Bread of Life. Just as bread nourishes our physical bodies, Jesus gives and sustains eternal life to all believers. “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst” (John 6:35). As He was accustomed, Jesus used figurative language to emphasize these great spiritual truths. Jesus explains the sense of the entire passage when He says, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63). Eating and drinking is not with the mouth and the digestive organs of our bodies, but the reception of God’s grace by believing in Christ, as He makes abundantly clear by repeating the same truths both in metaphoric and plain language. Compare for example the following two verses:

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life” (v47).

“He who eats this bread will live forever” (v58).

“He who believes” in Christ is equivalent to “he who eats this bread” because the result is the same, eternal life. The parallel is even more striking between verses 40 and 54:

“Everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day” (v40).

“Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day” (v54).

Bread represents the "staff of life." Sustenance. That which essential to sustain life. Just as bread or sustenance is necessary to maintain physical life, Jesus is all the sustenance necessary for spiritual life.

The Jews clearly understood that the source of life was blood -- "life is in the blood." As with the bread, just as blood is the empowering or source of life in Jewish thought physically, Jesus is all the source of spiritual life necessary.

So one has to be already saved and spiritually alive to receive spiritual bread !

Dead to sins First, then made alive unto God ! 2

But since by Christ's death, all for whom He died, all their sins hath been taken away, abolished, made an end to as Per Dan 9:24

24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

They have been made an end to as being against God's Law and Justice, and God's Righteousness of the Law for them has been satisfied Rom 8:4

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

It has been satisfied by the Blood of Christ alone, and by that they are dead to sins and to the Law with its power to condemn them, the law of God can bring no legal charges against them before God's Law and Justice Rom 8:33 and this even while they themselves may be dead in trespasses and sins, and even by nature children of wrath as others Eph 2:3, but unlike others, they shall be made alive unto God or unto Righteousness 1 Pet 2:24 ; Rom 7:4 also Rom 6:10-11

For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Gal 2:19

For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

That's the outcome of Christ's death for each Person He died for. By His death they become severed from or dead to the Law, and because that separation is final, they must be married unto Christ, who is God Rom 7:4

4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; thatye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

That word that is the word eis and it means to produce the result or effect of being married to another . That's the stated purpose of God in Christ's Death, now if that purpose does not come into fruition for all whom He died, a major flaw, defect has occurred in God's Purpose in Christ's death and severing them from the Law ! So they must be made alive. Paul again has this in mine here 2 Cor 5:14-15

14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead[to the Law Rom 7:4]:

15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

So all those Christ died for are first become dead to the Law, then made alive unto God !506

Christ is the End of the Law !

Rom 10:4

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Christ came to fulfill the Law, not to destroy it or do away with it, for God's Law is Eternal as He is Matt 5:17

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Religionist shall never understand this, but the main purpose for the Law of God, God's Moral Law, the Commandments of God Ecclesiastes 12:13

The main and first and foremost purpose for the Law was for Christ to come and with it as it is written here in Isa 42:21

21 The Lord is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

His Life obedience unto it Ps 40:7-8

7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

and His subsequent dying under its curse Gal 3:13

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Gal 4:4-5

4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

See, this World was Created for an Redemptive Purpose in Christ Jesus, this was part of God's Eternal Purpose Eph 3:9-11

9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

It was through this Redemtive Purpose that God's People would receive Life Everlasting, Christ is the culmination of the Law, and everyone believing in Him, manifest the end for which God gave the Law !

The Keeping of the Law does Give Life Matt 19:16-21

16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Jesus knew this was Impossible for the youngster to do, and before the World began Eternal Life had already been Promised to come through Jesus Christ Titus 1:1-2

Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

1 Jn 2:25

25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

1 Jn 5:11

11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Its always been in His Son for His People 1 Jn 1:1-2

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us ) 507

The First Resurrection !

Rev 20:6

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

What is this first resurrection ? The word first prōtos :

I.
first in time or place
A.
in any succession of things or persons

II.
first in rankA.

influence, honour

B.
chief

C.
principal

III.
first, at the first

I believe the first resurrection is Christ's Resurrection, and those who take part in it are all those He died for and rose again for !

The word part does mean :

II.one of the constituent parts of a whole

Christ rising from the Dead, He rose as the Head of the Body of the Sheep, the Chief Sheperd i.eHeb 13:20

20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that greatshepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

Col 1:18

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Christ's Resurrection was the firstfruit of all His members to follow 1 Cor 15:20,23

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

Rom 8:29

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son,that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Eph 2:6

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Now, Christ's Resurrection is the First Resurrection of all His Members and because His death destroyed for them death, it [His resurrection] ensures for them #1 a spiritual resurrection from spiritual death in this life Jn 5:25

25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

This resurrection is also New Birth and it ensures them a future bodily resurrection if we are not alive at His Coming Jn 5:28

28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

Christ's Resurrection from the dead ensures, guarantees these resurrections for all whom He died, and so blessed are they !508

If Christ did not rise, then what ?

1 Cor 15:17

17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

If Christ had not been raised from the dead, then that would mean, those for whom sins He died Vs 3, they would sill be in their sins, meaning that His death fell short of satisfying God's Law and Justice for them, which means His death was vain and those He died for still have all their sins charged against them. See the Resurrection is that which did verify that those whom Christ died for, was delivered for their offences as Per Rom 4:25

25 Who was delivered for our offences or died for their sins as in 1 Cor 15:3, and was raised again for our justification.

It verified that they have been, by His Death for them, Justified before God, for all their sins or offences, and so He was for that reason , Raised for or because of their Justification.

So God given Faith is given in substantiation of that Truth, but if He had not risen, then Faith would be worthless, it would not evidence anything !

See Faith is not what causes Justification from sins,Christ's death and or blood did that, and for whom His Death Justified before God, Faith is given to them to realize [ to grasp or understand to bring vividly to the mind] the same ! If Christ death did not Justify one, then Faith is not given, and they believe not Jn 10:26. for God does not give Faith to those Christ did not die for, those who were not of His Sheep !

Christ's Resurrection also means that all those Christ died for are Justified before God from all sin before they believe !

For instance, If Christ died and rose again for one in 33 ad, and they are not born sinners until 1952, well they are born sinners already having been Justified before God by Christ being delivered for their offences back in 33 ad, but they did not hear the good news of it 1982 when it was revealed to them by the Gospel and they believed the Truth of it by Faith ! They were Justified then by Faith at the age of 30 ! However they were Justified by Christ's death before God in 33 ad and the Resurrection of Christ was proof !509
