Can someone please tell me the difference between someone who baptizes their baby, and why some wait until they are older and they completely submerge themselves into water.

If you are baptized as a baby is this still considered okay in Gods eyes or is this a man made thing?

Every Greek meaning for, "Baptism", Is by total immersion.
And an infant has water either dabbed or sprinkled on their heads, So an infant isn't baptised the Biblical way.
Infant baptism isn't considered ok by God.

Plus baptism is for those who believe, Mk 16: 16, and repent, Acts 2: 38.
How can an infant, Hear the gospel, believe it, repent, chose to be born again and chose to be baptised.

Was baptized as a baby (or rather, christened, but I understand what you are saying). This was a vow my parents made in front of God and the church to raise their children for the Lord, bring them up with his instructions. The reason parents do this is because at that age children are unable to make those sorts of decisions for themselves, it's more of a promise to the Lord and saying thank you for the blessing of the child he has given them (Psalm 27:3).
A bit different from a baptism at a older age when you are able to understand and make that commitment to accept Christ yourself.

If you do get a chance to be at a christening listen to what is said. It's parents and Godparents promising infront of God to bring the child up for Christ.

What about God's baptism? Is that not more important to know who and when God baptize?

It is like the GROWTH. Paul might sow, John might add water, BUT GOD LET GROW! And who can tell God when to baptize or when to finish His work on us? Who of us can council God or advise God?

I think no waterbaptism impress or are disliked by God. I do not think he even norie those baptisms.

God only acts on one Baptism... HIS! Eph 4:5... One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

I would like to answer the most important question, which is 'If you are baptized as a baby is this still considered okay in Gods eyes or is this a man made thing?'. This question is very important.

Lets us look at what The Bible says in Acts 8.35-38:

Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. 36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?”
37 Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.”
And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”[c]
38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him.

Note that there is a condition which must be met before a person is ready to be baptised: they must 'believe with all [their] heart' (verse 37). Now we must consider whether it is possible for a baby to believe with all their heart. Believe what? As the next verse indicates, they must 'believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.' It was clear that the eunuch in the passage believed this, since he declared it with his mouth, but what about in the case of a baby who does not yet speak or understand words? Can they believe? Clearly they cannot '
believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God,' since they don't even understand what these words mean. Even if they could believe, we wouldn't be able to know which babies believed and which didn't, as they are not yet old enough to speak and hence communicate what they believe to us. As such, we must conclude that being baptised as a baby has no effect and is a man made thing.

Ella if you find the ONE that can baptize with the ONE baptism, please let me know I would like to go as well... I remember how easy it was to go to John's baptism... all you had to do is ask the people where at the Jordan River John was. But then look how the Spirit FELL on Cornelius when Peter yet spoke. This is the baptism I would like to be baptized with... The Spirit above through and in me... Truly FLOODED with God's holiness... now no water, priest or any man can do this for us.

It is called POURED ot the gift of the Holy Spirit.... Acts 10. Wow!

Correct explanation.

Do God need water to pour out the Holy Spirit? As I get this Scripture I see no water in this POURING or DOWNPOUR or FELL on all... Acts 10:44... This is the ONE baptism I mentioned Ella85... Act 10:44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

Nope. No scripture in the bible says it's sin.

27"For this child I prayed, and the LORD has given me my petition which I asked of Him. 28"So I have also dedicated him to the LORD; (1 Samuel 1:27-28)

You mention TWO baptisms here and God says there is only ONE in Eph 4. I wuold stick my faith in ONE BAPTISM. As I would choose to believe God's word above your understanding. Sorry ji. Either you knwo or God knows. God says one baptism you mention two... So I will believe there is only ONE!

And when Jesus said in John 3 .... Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Please do not think this is h2O (water as n drinking water or river water) it is the LIVING WATER of the WORD. It is the water Jesus mention a few times in the Bible. It is the Word of God WATER that a person should be born of, and also the Holy Spirit of God. And we know how the process work from the WATER and the SPIRIT.

So, my friend you are totally mislead by something.... There is one baptism, ONE LIVING WATER GIVER and ONE SPIRIT....

Jesus did not baptize little children. Little children are innocent before the law so they need only what Christ gave them, His blessing. It says He took them up in His arms and blessed them. Many churches have dedication services where the children are blessed and dedicated by their parents to the Lord. The parents vow to raise them for the Lord and pray for them to come to know Christ as Savior at an early age.

For the cause of Christ

So what you are saying is we need to ask to be baptized in the holy spirit. Which is the HOLY SPIRIT. No water! Just the holy spirit and then we can become born again!?
