After years of observation I stand on the bed rock of truth that if one does not sell out totally at there salvation point, the kiddy park at your favorite theme park is as far as you'll ever go.

What I mean is that you'll never go beyond the first stages of the spiritual walk. Candy land and soft ball tossing is where you will remain. Easy believeism and bottle feeding will be your delight forever.

Maturity will be defined by the organized church by your commitment to tithing and your being in the 'house of God' (it's not the house of God, the people are) every time the doors are open.

If you are well off, you have a better chance at a position of ministry. If you are poor you really don't care. You are being spoon fed by others and you like it. No hard work with that.

But if you are one of those odd balls, one of those nut cases that think that finding Jesus is the greatest thing that ever happened to you, and you surrendered everything and all and then some to Him without holding back a thing, then you are for a very rude awakening. Welcome to 'cold shoulder' city. The right foot of fellowship, as it were.
You will immediately discern a wall in place. A wall betwixt you and the reigning powers that be. A wall you'll not be able to bring down. A wall you'll not be able to scale. Chip away at that wall for decades with little to show for it for God is the builder of that wall. Your deep surrender to Him required that He place that wall there to keep you from ever becoming a total part of the Babylonian system we call 'church'.

Quiet you remain. Silent and still you conduct yourself as you study this diabolical system. You remain in the pew for years, for decades as you try to figure out 'What's wrong with me. What's wrong with me'.
After a few decades of watching your life go by quickly, God begins to show you that it's not all you. A mess you are, for aren't we all, but the problem is not just with you.
Its the system we fondly and adoringly call 'church'. What we think is 'church' is not 'church' at all. We finally get our eyes open and we can now see that the 'Emperor has no Clothes'! Many can't even see that the emperor is completely naked for they have been lied to for so long their vision is blurred. Others see that he is naked but are afraid to speak up. Afraid to rock a hole riddled boat. Persecution is something to be avoided at all costs. And boy does it cost.
The executive/ senior single salaried exalted titled pastor, the sermon, the pulpit, the one man show, the tithing audience, the tithing widows and poor, the 'house of God building', all run contrary to NT scripture and commands. Who wooda thunk it?
Now about that idiot who gave himself over to Christ without any hesitation or reservation. His eyes have been finally opened by the Holy Spirit through His clear teachings in His word. He must now 'come out from among them and be separate', which is now not a difficult thing to obey for he has been back burnered for all these years and the pain of it he will gladly walk away from.
He is now free, free to serve his Master according to the word of God. Alone he may have to walk but never really alone for His presence and blessing is now ten fold. He is out from under the curse of false doctrine, false teachers, false leadership, and the traditions of men that 'make void and null the precious word of God' that all but destroys the believers walk with Christ.
Folks, the Pharisees still reign and rule, taking the most upper seat in the assembly, (where does your pastor sit?) adorning their awesome names with religious titles, (is your pastor called pastor?) peddling a twisted word of God for fun and profit, (does your pastor receive a salary?) forcing widows to pay up and shut up, (are the poor and widows expected to tithe?) forcing the folks to 'make double the tally of bricks' (does you pastor expect you to finance his bigger building program?)

If you are happy in your 'church' sorry about your luck. My question is how much more would you be happy to do 'church' His way and not mans way. David was happy carrying the ark home his way, not Gods way. Disaster hit, and it hit hard.
This message is NOT for those who 'oppose themselves', but for those who get it, those who can testify with their own experience that these things be so.

Church is not a building but the assembling of true believers which sometimes contain unbelievers and/or seekers.

I'd be careful of your constant accusations...it may just reveal whose side you actually are on.

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

I'm careful of my accusations. I kept my mouth closed for 27 years to make sure I had the scriptural dots lined up first. The only thing I'm against is falsehoods, lies, doctrines of demons and of men, the traditions of men, false teachers, false apostles, false prophets, false shepherds, hirelings and wolves.

According to the NT, we are to watch like hawks for all these corrupt ears of the true faith, the true gospel. If any other gospel or spirit or any other Jesus is presented, we are to stand up and expose it.
You are right. We are to be careful, very careful of all these things. We are to study the scriptures as the Bereans did to 'see if these things be so'. If something is 'not so', we are to renounce it and correct it with the word. I would that you and others would join me.

Thanks, but I'm not too fond of joining 'movements'. Next thing I know, you'll be asking for 'dues' and living high on the hog.

You sound a little hurt.
If you have children I would hate to be them and have your fundamentalist drivel crammed down my throat. You weren't next in line to "reverend" Phelps were you?
