I had a dream about a couple months ago of this guy that I liked.

DREAM: I was sitting in myroom cross legged. And I was happy. I was looking out of my two big windows.Everything was white and it was snowing a lot. Just a light, fluffy snow. Not alot. Just lightly snowing with the sun out. There were huge snowflakes and I was watchingit snow. When I looked down onto the drive way I saw (I'll call him Eric) Eric trying to fix hiscar like under the hood on the engine. It was silver. He looked up into the window and smiled a very warmsmile. He started to wave at me and I could feel he was excited to see me.While he was waving, his car started to roll into the street towards my car. Mycar looked like his car, it was silver also and the same car. He saw that it was going in reverse and he ran behind his car and puthimself between my car and his car and stopped his car from crashing into mine.He somehow stopped it and then I signaled to him for him to come into my house.I remember thinking that my front door was dark blue. And I was excited that Iwas going to see him. I ran down the stairs and let him into my house. He washappy. And he was in pain also. He told me he had just returned from Mexico andhe was sun burned from being there. He told me that it hurt a lot and bothered him. Itold him that I would go and get him something to make it stop. So I went andgrabbed some aloe Vera and rubbed it on him. The aloe Vera was green. I noticedthat his sun burn was everywhere except around his eyes where he seemed to havesun glasses on. Then he and I laid down on the couch and he hugged me. I turnedaround and smiled at him and we laid there together and rested.

I'm not sure what this dream means. I've prayed and interpreted it but I would like a second opinion on it if someone can please. Please discuss and pray for clarity on it. It's about 2 months old.

Why does it have to mean anything? Sounds like a dream. We all have them...

Dreams is like a waste desposal unit in our brain. What we see, hear, experience, what we think or thought about, then gets all jumbled up. and the information thats wasted comes out as a dream.

So obviously you had been thinking a lot about this guy. so therefore the thoughts has been noted in your brain, and layed dormant for a bit, until its time for your brain to release all the waste. I not saying that the person is a waste, but trying to explain how dream works.

However there are some dreams that can have meaning, and of course, there are those that do receive dreams from God. and its only those we need to be more concerned about.

But everyone dream sometimes 8 to 15 times a night. and Not all dreams has meanings. I wouldn't listen to too many people, because they will fill your brain with alsorts of rubbish that your dream means this or that. If and I mean if, your dream has meaning of any sort, then best thing for you to do is lift it up to God in prayer. and Let God answer you. If its his will for you to do something. or is he is telling you something. Then who better to go to for confirmation and understanding?

Thats why Jesus quoted Matthew 7: 7. Use that verse and seek God for an answer.

Well sister i always advise people to go to the Lord as daniel did in order to receive interpretation and revelation, but since you seem to understand that and are just looking to hear people's personal impressions, i can try to share with you a few things i've learned on dreams and symbolisms.

1.....The car usually represents a person's life, it is where your life is headed and in which shape your life is, depending on what the car looks like and its behavior in the dream, it can imply your life's direction/ speedy or slow process/ safety or crashing situations/prosperity or poverty/ control of self or loss of control/ issues, depending on whether the car is behaving or represented in good or bad ways. The person behind the Wheel is also an important element with cars in dreams.

2.....The snow, being pure white, and the overall atmosphere you describe is rather positive and holy, it seems to imply purity, a relationship that is kept in the right biblical path towards marriage.

3......your cars being exact matches seems to imply that God Himself has set you as compatible for one another, perfect mates, and the fact that no one was hurt when they started sliding is also good. It could just indicate the conditions in which your paths have crossed.

4......if he had sun burns, maybe he has personal issues where Healing is needed and you will play a role in helping him just as you did in the dream, i would suggest you pray for him, for his Healing and protection.

5......The house is also a symbol of your own inner house, your space, in which this person is welcome and is bringing joy and peace, not trouble. It's overrall a fairly positive dream, in my opinion, it seems to be about marriage blessing and compatibility, but as i said please go to the Lord and ask for His confirmation and counsel before you do anything.

God bless :)

i forgot to mention, the fact that he was fixing his car and also had sunburns, both imply he might have issues to work through and will need your support in prayer and love.

i am curious @minouche where you got that it was about marriage? couldn't it just mean that our lives are similar? we aren't talking currently and he has a girlfriend. i just pray for him to come to a revelation that being a christian is more than knowing about God. it's about knowing God intimately and i'm just praying for his well being and safety and true salvation, submission, and peace in all walks of his life. i know i have to trust the Lord with His plan. but yes, i am just asking about what others interpretations are of this.

i ask for prayers that the Lord speaks to me about what is to happen and what i should pray about in the mean time while I wait for answers from Him and a direction for my life. i have decided to submit and dedicate everything to God and want the same for this guy.

thanks.

Hello Elissab103. Becareful listening to many people, as many will give false information without realising it. and may not mean what they say. Im not saying not to listen, but have discernment when asking from people for advise or to explain your dream. Best thing to do is ask God. Seek his will. and seek his truth in your dream. if its meant to be for something? well at least you will hear it from a true source that you can trust.

people can go a bit too wild in telling other people about dreams. and share some amazing rubbish, and you are getting what they think, and not what God may be telling you, if he is trying to tell you something. Just a little something to think about.........

Maybe it means nothing other than he was on your mind when you passed out!

Thank you. minouche's interpretation was actually exact on my own. i always thought that cars were something to drive us or move us from place to place. i thought they were similar because we might have the same mission or something that the Lord has planned for us. i'm seeking the Lord for this interpretation as well but i was just curious. i know i need to be cautious. i will be taking it to my congregation and asking for prayers for interpretation and confirmation on it as well. i think i just need to pray to know and discern what the Lords voice sounds like to me and what i am hearing.

Becareful Elissab103, some people can tell you what you want to hear. even if its wrong, or false information. But who better to ask? other than God? The one who made you who you are. Designed you and put all the attributes in you? and experience life? Again Im not telling you not to listen or telling you what to do. Just becareful who and what you listen to.

There are those who just wants to fill your mind with rubbish, and things you may want to hear. Some people can tell you what they think, and not what God has told them, ask for scripture from people to back there explanations. at least that way, the information wont be pointing to falsness. and will give you something real to think about.

First I'd like to say that not all dreams mean anything but as I read it here is what I saw.

Your legs were crossed and the snow was white and lovely, you were happy. This sounds chaste, holy, joyous.

Outside of where you are residing (you are dwelling in peace)
there is a man outside, he has a car like your car. That begins rolling into your car. This seemed like a ploy. A way to connect and you willingly brought him into your sanctuary. He comes in burnt.. That is a warning, was it actually Mexico he came from? or somewhere hotter?

my advise? be cautious. As others have said pray. Satan is sneaky.

i don't need anyone to disagree with me on if dreams are from God or not. this isn't a theological discussion post. if you believe in them and have an interpretation, i'd very much appreciate it. thanks.

thank you for your opinion deadtosin. but because of the context of the dream, the colors and the overall feel, i know this was not a dream from the enemy and was not a warning dream about the enemy. this is definitely a dream from God.

for the record i believe it is possible for dreams to have real meanings...

but in this case...as i read the description of this dream the only thing that kept coming to mind was 'this dream is completely meaningless'

So....It seems that if we just simply state that it could mean nothing and or it was just a dream because he was on your mind before you passed out it doesn't fit your bill as good, appreciative, interpretation of your dream?

Well what would you rather? a person who will lie to you and give you rubbish and tell you what you want to hear? or find the real interpret of your dream? IF it really means something. You asked in a forum for people to comment, and people has, If you don't like any of the answers, then fine. and Im ok with that, and im sure many people are too. But you are going to get people who will be theologic about it. Otherwise you are just seeking for people to explain to you what you want hear, so you can pursue this guy more. If you are Christian, though not saying if you are or not. You would therefore ask God for understanding about things.

What you want is someone to tell you what you want to hear, so you can pursue this guy, Because you like him and so on. Again if you are serving teh true God then you would trust in his will. But with your comment, I can see many people are only going to advice you what you only want to hear. So it sounds like you telling people not to waste time and giving you sound and good advice. Because you not going to listen to them anyways.

Fair enough. Thats with me. and im sure with other people too.
