Revelation 21-1
Then I saw "a new heaven and a new earth," for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

What about this scripture. They must have missed this one when they did that study.

Did you actually read the article? Or just miss the part where that scripture is addressed?

You busted me. I didn't read the entire article. When I read what I read the first scripture that came to mind was that one so I posted it. I don't think I have ever given an in depth look at this exact topic. I will now tho.

This is so common on this site and so disrespectful. It is why this site has an extremely bad name amongst people who used to be on here.

This ^^ isn't respectful. I knew I jumped the gun, which is probably a first for me on here and trying to be respectful I owned up to it just to be disrespected. But whatever, I expect nothing less from the world.

How is it disrespectful? You were clearly out of line. You did own up to it, after being called out but it took being confronted to admit to it.

I love the reaction to it as well. Pointing out some one is being out of line is suddenly I'm claiming to be perfect. Classic.

Ok, unforgiving. I knew I shouldn't have owned up to it.

Again classic judgment. I pointed out your error, in return you call me disrespectful. So then you say, 'unforgiving'.

Attacking the person, when what I did was point out how your comment which shows you made a judgment without paying the respect of reading first was not good.

The Rapture clearly is an UnBiblical joke, no offense to those who believe it but come on. The Rapture teaches the following unsubstantiated tenants with absolutely no passage that states any of these things:

1) The Christ returns BEFORE the Tribulation
2) That Christ has two more future returns, one before, one after
3) That once Christ returns that He then goes back to heaven, with or without anyone
4) That anyone receives spiritual bodies when Christ returns
5) That the End Times church escapes the Great Tribulation after enduring promised tribulation for ~2,000 years.
6) That such a concept of a Tribulation Saint exists.

Time to eat. I had more, LOL

So, basically, Scriptures IN THE BIBLE........are an unbiblical joke? Is that about right?

If what you say is true.............then the entire Bible is a joke.............is that what you believe?

The rapture is indeed biblical and I hope that it happens tonight. Sorry that you will not be participating in that event but you will be able watch from afar. After that, you can change the channel. Safe Passage.

No, I believe the scriptures. That's my point. The rapture is Unbiblical because the key elements of it which I cited above have no basis in scripture.

To believe in the Rapture, first you have to take two unrelated passages from Paul and put them together. Then you have to ignore the timing Christ and Paul give. Then you have to reverse the clear teaching of Christ that we end times believers who will be hated by all nations, killed and suffer tribulation suddenly avoid it all during the worst period of it. You have to convince yourself that Paul was given something new to teach that not even Jesus, the Son of God, knew. You have to ignore the two passages where Christ said he told His disciples ALL THINGS (Mark 13, John 15:15).

You have to ignore Ecl 1:9 which say there is nothing new under the sun and see something new. Jesus birth, life, ministry, persecution, crucifixion, resurrection and ascention and future return are all included in the OT but not the Rapture. Hmm. Jesus left the Rapture out in His Olivet Discourse. Hmmm. He mentions wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, pestilence, darkness, lunar eclipses, the Gospel being spread and false Christ(s) as all signs of His coming but left out the SNATCHING AWAY OF TENS if not HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of Christians!! That's a pretty big and obvious sign to omit, don't ya think???

Then we have warnings about deceptions, saints and elect on earth. 2 of the 7 churches clearly on earth, a great multitude of believers killed during the Trib. We have Satan waging war and overcoming saints. So the Pre-Tribber deals will all this evidence by saying, "Those all relate to new believers, those who weren't worthy of the Rapture." They see a huge revival when Paul teaches a huge falling away. They argue, these warnings don't apply to me. Yet there is no distinction ever made between a saint and a Trib Saint. What denial and what pride. Foolish 5 virgins without oil. All 10 watch, but 5 prepare, 5 don't.
