Read Isaiah 1... this is one of many places that Israel is called the harlot. Israel/Jerusalem was continually called the harlot and this does not just up and change in Revelation of the New Testament. The harlot has always been Israel and her detestable worship.
Reading Revelation 17-18 about the mother of harlots, etc was referring to Jerusalem and Israel's Old Covenant system, even them which rejected Jesus Christ as Messiah. They even shouted... "Crucify Him, Crucify Him... Let His blood be upon our hands and our childrens hands!"
Compare with end o Matthew 23... whose blood would be upon whose hands?
We need understand the obvious and and then search out the not so obvious. Many tosday refuse to do this in their study however.

The way i see it,the harlot of revelations stands for a wicked one world religion.
A wicked religion that perhaps will have its origine in Israel.
A terrible religion that will unite every other existing religion.
A religion that goes directly against the gospel of Jesus.
And perhaps,even an literal person creating or leading this religion.
Perhaps even a literal person who really is a ('female') fallen angel,or its wicked giant son.
Look,I think the one world religion will have everything to do with Israel eventually.
Satan goes out to specificly deceive Israel.
I think this world religion will proberly be born in Israel most proberly.
But I dont think Israel itselfe is the harlot.I believe it will come most proberly from Israel.
Israel will be the first to be deceived most proberly.From there on,it goes out to the world.
So perhaps Russia wont be the first country that meets the fallen ones after all, as i sugested that possibility before.
It ll proberly be Israel.
I think the abomination of destruction will be an 'alien' abomination.An abomination of fallen ones.
I think its gonna land in Israel.And when the israelis see it,they should run imediatly after they see this,for there will be very few time to think it over.
The dragon isnt gonna waste any time.
The moment Israel sees this,A part of Israel will start to wake up.(the 144 000 perhaps?)
But the dragon is gonna imediatly wanna devour them right after they wake up.
But he wont succeed though.
God will bring them to the dessert and protect them.

"Jews" is just a modern word translated from Ioudaios which is in the sense of a country, so a subject of the land belonging to Judah, not Israel, that would be the Northern Kingdom, Judea was seperate, and being Judean Ioudaios would be like me being Australian, it's in the sense of a country, you could be from any tribe or nation and be a Judean by state, all that was required was the you live there for a certain period of time and many nationalites did...But this is is all very different to what makes up followers of Judaism today, anybody can become a Jew, you just go and see the local Rabbi and become one by conversion, either that or if your mother is a Jew, which is matriarchal and of course Judah and Israel were patriachal, so there is a big difference there.
I am in agreement here. There is alot happening that points toward the end time and deception.
But what I see I hold untill certian in Jesus.
I do not want to be part of the confussion, that is a great responcabuility.
Seeing what lays ahead is more about confidence in Jesus, less about who knows what.
One can have fun with this but there are many that cannot disern, and for them I am careful.
But timing is the biggie and that is God Our Fathers.
