I mean, it was wrong to eat meat before Adam sinned. Why did God say we could eat meat after that and why did he say those who refused to eat meat were weak Christians?

Meat wasn't eaten before the Fall because God had not given it...the only thing forbidden to eat was from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
It wasn't until after the flood that God gave permission and provision to eat meat.

He did not say those who refused to eat meat were weak Christians.. Those who were UNABLE to eat meat due to their troubled conscience were considered weak in the faith. If a christian determines between himself and God not to eat meat, that is not weak.

I have found nothing that says being vegetarian is wrong. My son-inlaw is one, and claims he is healthy, but why then is he always pale and sickly looking. Now there is a famous book about the becoming a Vegetarian, and eating only vegetables, where she actually is calling vegetarianism God's perfect diet. The book is called Counsels on Diet and Foods by Ellen G. White, published in 1863, where she claims the Lord gave her the revelation about the Vegetarian Diet, and that book became very popular. She promoted her book in almost all of her interviews at that time, continuing to claim how wonderful the Vegetarian Diet was, while pronouncing judgement on those who do eat meat with comments like: 1868—Prayers do not go high if your children eats eggs, butter, and meat! All the time claiming how she and her husband, were on that vegetarian diet GOD gave her. However, by 1876, evidence started leaking out that she was eating meat, shrimp, and oysters. If you want to read more, here is where I got this info. Ellen G. White eats meat and oysters

Now compare that to what the Bible really says about eating meat.

Genesis 10:8-9 (ASV)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
[SUP]9 [/SUP] He was a mighty hunter before Jehovah: wherefore it is said, Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before Jehovah.

Genesis 25:27 (ASV)
[SUP]27 [/SUP] And the boys grew. And Esau was a skilful hunter, a man of the field. And Jacob was a quiet man, dwelling in tents.

Proverbs 12:27 (GW)
[SUP]27 [/SUP] A lazy hunter does not catch his prey, but a hard-working person becomes wealthy.

What is the main course in the Passover meal? Correct Lamb, prepared in a sop or pate to dip your bread in.

Acts 10:10-13 (ESV)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] And he became hungry and wanted something to eat, but while they were preparing it, he fell into a trance
[SUP]11 [/SUP] and saw the heavens opened and something like a great sheet descending, being let down by its four corners upon the earth.
[SUP]12 [/SUP] In it were all kinds of animals and reptiles and birds of the air.
[SUP]13 [/SUP] And there came a voice to him: “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.”

Luke 24:34 (NKJV)
[SUP]34 [/SUP] saying, "The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!"
Luke 24:39-43 (NKJV)
[SUP]39 [/SUP] Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have."
[SUP]40 [/SUP] When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.
[SUP]41 [/SUP] But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, "Have you any food here?"
[SUP]42 [/SUP] So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb.
[SUP]43 [/SUP] And He took it and ate in their presence.

1 Timothy 4:1-5 (NKJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
[SUP]2 [/SUP] speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,
[SUP]3 [/SUP] forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.
[SUP]4 [/SUP] For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving;
[SUP]5 [/SUP] for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

NOTICE: While claiming that the LORD gave her that vegetarian diet, she was secretly continuing to eat meats, shrimp, and oysters. That certainly fulfills the lies, and the hypocrisy part of that prophesy.

I was a hunter when I grew up, and we were poor share-croppers. There were many times the only meat we had to eat was the wild game and fish my brother and I brought home from hunting or fishing. My favorite delicacies were Frog Legs, Snapping Turtle, and Fricasseed wild Rabbit. Yummmm. Pretty much every thing was good to eat, but possum, not so much.

Now take my red meat completely away from me, and in about 3 or 4 days, I will be out in the woods with my bow hunting for something.

I think that in the pre-flood period God intended man to be a vegetarian. But after the flood, God told Noah and his sons that they can eat meat. My guess is that there were irreversible changes in the environment during the flood which caused changes to the climatic conditions. Perhaps God felt that without meat, men may not be able to survive these changes

That is a very strong probability, or why would it say as you mentioned:

Genesis 9:1-3 (GW)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fertile, increase in number, and fill the earth.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] All the wild animals and all the birds will fear you and be terrified of you. Every creature that crawls on the ground and all the fish in the sea have been put under your control.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] Everything that lives and moves will be your food. I gave you green plants as food; I now give you everything else.

But what we must remember, is before SIN everything was perfect, and because of Adam's sin not only did humans change. but so did animals, and the earth. Many have asked me what did the Carnivores eat on the Ark. NO WHERE does it say the chosen animals were any older than just weened babies. In that case the size of the Ark could accommodate a lot more animals, AND A FEW adult size milk producers could have fed the baby carnivores. Then inevitably the doubters of the flood, want to hurl the accusation, "that still is impossible because the carnivores still would have nothing to each except the pairs of animals that Noah so desperately tried to save." How quickly they forget. The story accounted for a multitude of carcasses of animals and humans, being all over the beaches; and Noah and his family certainly did not take on a massive burial detail job. Coming from a perfect world, I imagine, there would have been little bacteria, very few flies, and the salt water washing over the carcasses, followed by the water drying up, and sunny days; could have made it the ideal climate to sundry jerky, naturally. First time I ever thought of GOD as being the inventor of Jerky.

Vegetarianism makes you ten times wiser than meat eaters

Dan 1:16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them vegetables.
Dan 1:17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
Dan 1:18 Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.
Dan 1:19 And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.
Dan 1:20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.

Reading the Bible is why I became vegetarian

after I went vegan (since might as well eat like we will in heaven since I am going there)
I can really remember and study my Bible much better....
ask me something! :)

Adam were to only eat the fruit of each plant, except for one; but when they were banished from the Garden, they were banished from the sight of God; so which means they have to do whatever it takes to survive. But Abel's offering God had taken it into consideration that they were without Him, for they didn't had known any better. But when Noah exit the ark, was a sign that He accepted us eating animals for food and other things that we had pick up while He was absent.

Yes, that came afterward when Adam already had fallen. That's when God had told Noah the things that he can eat and what not to eat.

Vegetarianism is only an issue if you're doing it for the wrong reasons eg. making an idol of nature and its bounty.

Some foods for thought.

Fish oil is sometimes used after heart transplant surgery to prevent high blood pressure and kidney damage that can be caused by the surgery itself or by drugs used to reduce the chances that the body will reject the new heart. Fish oil is sometimes used after coronary artery bypass surgery. It seems to help keep the blood vessel that has been rerouted from closing up.

When vessels expands, you'll need something to dissolve the clots that are floating in the blood stream. Once dissolved, it will come out of the pores, like blackheads or pimples. Should away from foods that clogs arteries, Because if it can clogged the arteries, it surely can plug up something smaller than it like veins and capillaries as well.

You see, the isoflavones in soy ARE the goitrogens. According to the research of Chris Masterjohn in his paper Thyroid Toxins: The Double-Edged Swords of the Kingdom Plantae, fermentation frees the isoflavones (goitrogens) from the sugars to which they are conjoined. When a person eats unfermented soy, there is little digestive action in the human intestines to free the isoflavones from these sugars. However, when this bond is broken during fermentation via the action of the fermenting bacteria, this paves the way for much greater absorption of the isoflavones when a person consumes fermented soy! - See more at: Mercola Confusion: Fermented Soy IS Goitrogenic | The Healthy Home Economist http://www.thehealthyhomeeconomist.com/mercola-is-wrong-fermented-soy-is/

it's not wrong, neither is it 'more right' than being an omnivore.
food doesn't commend us to God.
anyway, there are better things to eat than either animals or plants.

But he said to them,
"
I have food to eat that you know nothing about."
(John 4:32)

we are living in the fallen state are we not? Yes I got saved, thank God. But I am still in the flesh and I have to eat. If every moving thig was good enough for Noah, then it's good enough for me.
