mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth;
I have put my spirit upon him:
he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]He shall not cry, nor lift up,
nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]A bruised reed shall he not break,
and the smoking flax shall he not quench:
he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

till he have set judgment in the earth:
and the isles shall wait for his law.

Fear not,for I am with you;Be not dismayed,for I am your God.I will strengthen you.Yes I will help you,I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.Behold,all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced;They shall be as nothing.And those who strive with you shall perish.You shall seek them and not find them, those that contended you.Those who war against you shall be as nothing,as a nonexistent thing.For I,the LORD your God,will hold your right hand,saying to you,"Fear not,I will help you."

Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. {ordained: Heb. founded}
¶ When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all {things} under his feet:
All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; {All...: Heb. Flocks and oxen all of them}
The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, {and whatsoever} passeth through the paths of the seas.
O LORD our Lord, how excellent {is} thy name in all the earth!
Psalms 8:1-9

and have forgotten the LORD, your Maker,
who stretched out the heavens
and laid the foundations of the earth,
and you fear continually all the day
because of the wrath of the oppressor,
when he sets himself to destroy?
And where is the wrath of the oppressor?
(Isaiah 51:12-13)
