This is a literary device used to describe men in general (possibly the godly line of Seth). There is no such thing as fallen angels impregnating women.

No, not necessarily. When using a literary device one can use the same term to describe different things, and while there may be a common element between the things described, this does not mean the things to which the term is applied are one and the same.

I thought this quote was interesting: 'First and foremost, the notion that demons can “produce” real bodies and have real sex with real women would invalidate Jesus’ argument for the authenticity of his resurrection. Jesus assured his disciples that “ a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have” (Luke 24:39). If indeed a demon could produce flesh and bones Jesus’ argument would be not only flawed but also misleading. In fact, it might be logically argued that the disciples did not see the post-resurrection appearances of Christ but rather a demon masquerading as the resurrected Christ.'

I agree demons can not have sex with women but Genisis 6 is not about demons but rather "sons of God" They are also not the first fallen angels as those are reserved in darkness Jude 1:6.

The sons of God = angels .. They were fallen angels, the Septuagint renders it "angels" (Genesis 6:2). And yes, "sons of God" is also a reference to angels in Job 1:6, 2:1, & 38:7.
A son of God is a divine creation, not one born of flesh.

God's people- not God's angels. Jesus Himself says in Mark 12:25, angels do not marry nor are given in marriage. Think about it, even if it's by adoption, if God is our Father- that would make us His sons and daughters= therefore the sons of God are humans- though living in the world are not of the world- and should act accordingly. Yet still, all sin and fall short of the glory of God.

Not true....adam was a man
Luke 3:38

[SUP]38 [/SUP]Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

I wish we could really understand what's going on. Even now those who believe have the power to become sons of God.

Genesis 6:1-5
1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
3 And the LORD said , My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh : yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Fallen angels are the "sons of God." Angels can take human form like the 2 that visited Lot in Sodom.

Verse 4 The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them; the same were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown.

הַנְּפִלִים = Nephilim

Wow! Talk about blind. It literally says that Adam was the son of God, and yet YOU say not only was he not the son but not even A son of God??

This is confusion at its finest.

Who was Adam's Father?

If the "sons of God" were not corrupting the earth, then there would have been no flood. The "sons of God in the original text of the Hebrew language are most definitely not in God's will. They had corrupted the earth to the point of total destruction if God would not have intervened with a flood during Noah's time.

Geneisi 6:7-13
7 And the LORD said , I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt ; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Umm did you just disagree with the bible? XD
Um yes!
And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,[SUP]24 [/SUP]Which was the son of Matthat, which was the son of Levi, which was the son of Melchi, which was the son of Janna, which was the son of Joseph,
[SUP]25 [/SUP]Which was the son of Mattathias, which was the son of Amos, which was the son of Naum, which was the son of Esli, which was the son of Nagge,
[SUP]26 [/SUP]Which was the son of Maath, which was the son of Mattathias, which was the son of Semei, which was the son of Joseph, which was the son of Juda,
[SUP]27 [/SUP]Which was the son of Joanna, which was the son of Rhesa, which was the son of Zorobabel, which was the son of Salathiel, which was the son of Neri,
[SUP]28 [/SUP]Which was the son of Melchi, which was the son of Addi, which was the son of Cosam, which was the son of Elmodam, which was the son of Er,
[SUP]29 [/SUP]Which was the son of Jose, which was the son of Eliezer, which was the son of Jorim, which was the son of Matthat, which was the son of Levi,
[SUP]30 [/SUP]Which was the son of Simeon, which was the son of Juda, which was the son of Joseph, which was the son of Jonan, which was the son of Eliakim,
[SUP]31 [/SUP]Which was the son of Melea, which was the son of Menan, which was the son of Mattatha, which was the son of Nathan, which was the son of David,
[SUP]32 [/SUP]Which was the son of Jesse, which was the son of Obed, which was the son of Booz, which was the son of Salmon, which was the son of Naasson,
[SUP]33 [/SUP]Which was the son of Aminadab, which was the son of Aram, which was the son of Esrom, which was the son of Phares, which was the son of Juda,
[SUP]34 [/SUP]Which was the son of Jacob, which was the son of Isaac, which was the son of Abraham, which was the son of Thara, which was the son of Nachor,
[SUP]35 [/SUP]Which was the son of Saruch, which was the son of Ragau, which was the son of Phalec, which was the son of Heber, which was the son of Sala,
[SUP]36 [/SUP]Which was the son of Cainan, which was the son of Arphaxad, which was the son of Sem, which was the son of Noe, which was the son of Lamech,
[SUP]37 [/SUP]Which was the son of Mathusala, which was the son of Enoch, which was the son of Jared, which was the son of Maleleel, which was the son of Cainan,

[SUP]38 [/SUP]Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

......................[SUP] [/SUP]Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

Seriously!

Disagreeing with the bible flatout shows his spirit is somewhere else.

Considering the actual topic though I know for a fact those sons of God which saw the daughters of man to be fair were in fact not humans but straight up: the sons of God. I have no need to compare this to Jesus and his birth which was a miracle, but you see how somebody else above did so to cast down this idea? Not to condemn, but it seems people's faith ends at topics like this, because it gives them the feeling like they might be inferior, among angels as well as demons, and maybe not be as important as they thought, LOL.
