I still wonder about how you could believe in the existence of God?

You never saw Him and never heard Him. There are no concrete evidences, period!

Many people saw UFO! Others saw ghost! And so on. Do you believe them! NO!

What is the difference between these and with God? Only words nothing concrete!

I now realize that I am a Christian with a Lord but without God!

Please share your thoughts for the truth seeker!

Blessed be the Lord!

This is likely to be my last post for a little while (no more internet access soon).

Firstly there is no Christianity without god as jesus is the son of god who died for our sins so we may have eternal life who then came back from the dead to prove this to us.

Secondly what proof of existence do you require I myself see god everywhere and in everything.

The trouble in this day and age people put their faith in science which I find strange as people will deny god but will take the word of strangers as the truth of existence

I have seen UFO's and I've had experiences with ghosts. I am of the firm belief they they were and are all demons working toward a great deception. There is concrete evidence for the existence of God. I guess it depends on who you are and what you will accept. All of creation testifies to a Creator. All of creation. Animals that could not exist without other creatures, plants and elements fully in existence and working. How can a flower pollinate without a bee? how can a bee exist without a flower? Everything works in a perfect balance and everything is so complex down to our DNA. There are those who argue these things. Of course there are those who will argue anything. People believe what they believe for different reasons. I have been blessed to see the truth beyond the evidence. I have had experiences. Not only have I seen UFO's and had experiences with ghosts, I have had experiences with satan and many experiences with God. Physical experiences with God. (blinded on the side of the road by a man who said "THUS SAYS THE LORD GOD") I am Christian and I have a God. His name is Yahweh and His only begotten Son is Jesus Christ- The Redeemer.

What is non-sense?

Believing what you read without verifying its veracity !

Or

Analyzing and reasoning about what you heard before accepting it as a truth?

@Deadtosin : You raised good points about the engineering wonder of the creation.
However, the creation is programmed to work by itself! No need of God!

Why is it only a few person that would have physical experiences of God?

Lol all Christians experience GOD because they are open to the holy spirit
Everyone has faith in something its human nature but its where you choose to place that faith that matters I choose GOD not because of family history or low intelligence I choose because in my heart I know it to be true

I experience God every day. He speaks to me through His Word, through other people, through nature, and sometimes through a "small, still voice."

Jesus Christ is God! He rose from the dead! Unless you beliefve, you will perish in your sins!

Start reading the Bible and perhaps God in his mercy will forgive your unbelief, show you mercy and save you by his grace.

To say creation is programmed to work by itself with no need for God is like saying a car is programmed to run by itself there was no reason for the man who built it. The same could be said for every single thing man has ever made. That is a silly argument.

As far as why do only select people have physical experiences with God? I do not pretend to be capable of comprehending God's purposes. His wondrous works will never fit into my 3 lb brain. In many ways I envy people who believe who have not seen.

[SUP]29 [/SUP]Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

I think this idea of God is the problem with the church, has been for hundreds and hundreds of years. Your knowledge of God is incomplete, so you don't know the true God. It is true that what Jesus did on the cross is the heart of God, and that God wants us to be His and live with Him forever is a key element of God. It could only be through Christ. Christ has been given dominion, and sits on the right hand of God. But in your mind, what you see of God is only Christ.

Christ is one with the Father, you cannot cut the Father out of Christ and know Christ. You must see them as a whole God to know God at all.

Christianity has long been without God when the Son of God is believed to have replaced the Word of God.

Well you have some reason, but consider this; Jesus said two commands, Love God and love your neighbor. Therefore believe in God even if you have not seen Him. You are young though as I am young, just keep learning and following after Jesus who is the Christ who proves that God is real and God is our salvation.

No evidence for God?

Ever looked into the historical evidence for Jesus Christ, living, dieing and resurrecting.. just as the bible says?

-one theory was put forward that Jesus never really died.. but that goes against everything that goes on when someone was crucified at that time

-one theory was put forward that the disciples stole Jesus' body (the theory of many of the Jews of the time) But the fact is the disciples were scattered.. not organised together to hatch a plan to take Jesus' body.

-one theory is that Jesus only 'swooned' on the cross-- which has the same bad logic as the first theory

-one theory says that Jesus was a master at hypnosis.. and hypnotised his followers to believe he was risen. Problem? No known hypnotists now have been able to hypnotise over 500 people at once! Even 12 at once.. I doubt many, if any have done. One scholar put it..that if Jesus was able to do this.. He would actually be performing the equivalent of a miracle anyway! So this theory bit the dust.

It goes on and on.

If you do look into the historical record objectively.. you will find the 'footprints' of Jesus thru it.

So in response to Twotwo.. there is evidence.. it's just not the kind of.. 'appear to you personally' type of evidence, because even in the bible, there were not THAT many people that actually literally saw Jesus.. plus to appear to someone personally means that part of believing - the faith part.. is made less significant. Eg. to believe in something and not have to see it, feel it etc all the time.. is greater than having someone who everyday comes to see you and tells you he is there.
