Luke 14:26 "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple."

That word hate is comparative, which is the same word used in Romans 9:13, in comparison to His love for Jacob.

So yes, God loves everyone, with a gooey, wooey gentle love like a love sick man who who's chasing after his bride.

No if you look up the root word for Romans 9 13 it means to utterly hate

No it says for the children not yet born nor having done any good or evil that the purpose of election would stand. Not of him that runneth or of him that willeth but of God that sheweth mercy. And all are gone astray all deserve Hell

The Old Testament gives us examples of the attributes of God and how those attributes are shown in how God deals with people, with the prophets giving God's reasons. There we see God's love for all people as God guides people in how to live our lives here with safety, security, and abundance. The people God developed (the Hebrews) to show this were always told to welcome anyone who wanted to join them, expressing God's love for all people. But when people chose to live away from God and not know Him, they were left to their own devices. Sometimes they were used for God's purposes, but they had chosen to be dead, to not live with God forever but only in the short time they had on this earth. It was their choice.

For God so loved the (cosmos) <---translated world, but actually carries the idea (whole order of things).......

God hated Esau's actions and the devaluing of the birth right!

I find it ironic that those who go around saying, "God HATES" those who aren't his 'special class of elite chosen ones', fail to see that God actually HATES the lies they're spreading about him. All this hooplah about everyone being 'blind' to the truth, yet these people can't see that THEY are the victims of everything they assert is happening to the 'unelect'...

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Did God love the planet? Or did God love the WHOSOEVERS?.... I would think that includes everyone. But then of course not everybody CHOOSES God.....
