Lately, the world seems to try and bring us all into slavery.
For some, the overwhelming laws passed,
Maby for another, its is their job,
Could be oppression from a family member...
critisizm run rampant, demands overwhelming..
Maby its simply all of the above and more.
I prayed often, asking Jesus how can one live in the world, without being of the world, overwhelmed by the world.
When one night, I was shown this scripture in corrinthians.
It was ment for slaves, but with all the demands and offences lately, it truely applies to all .
Do all things as unto the Lord.
Such a simple direction, yet very freeing.
For when all we do, is done unto the Lord?
First, there is no offence, for no matter the actions of the reciver of your work, all you do, is done unto the Lord, so the reactions of the worldly recieiver, belong to God.
The greater freedom though, is that when one does all unto the Lord, the world falls away, and all weakness is now made for God's glory and power.
That no matter what the world asks, we serve and give all in Jesus to God, so the offence in the world is removed.
I realise Im not doing justice to this understanding,, But I know in giving this to God, despite my weakness, His understanding and glory will shine brightly.
And this is really what it is all about, doing and giving all in Jesus to God, so that self and the world is removed.
And God glory will perfect, provide and make perfect.
Anyway, Do give this in Jesus to God in prayer, I hope the same freedom, and joy of God's power glorified, will shine brightly for you.
