Son of Man?

Matthew 8:20

And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

Mark 14:62
Jesus said, “I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.”

Why does Jesus refer to Himself as the Son of Man?

What does that mean to be the Son of Man?

Was it a good thing?

Was it a bad thing?

Daniel 7
13 “ I was watching in the night visions,
And behold, One like the Son of Man,
Coming with the clouds of heaven!
He came to the Ancient of Days,
And they brought Him near before Him.
14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,
That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
Which shall not pass away,
And His kingdom the one
Which shall not be destroyed.

Wow - the Son of Man the term of the Divine Messiah!

So when Jesus was called the Son of Man, referred to Himself as, the Son of Man..

That was an amazing title! I mean look at what Daniel says ...People will worship/serve this "Son of Man".. All nations, all people, all languages... An everlasting dominion..

Yep Jesus fits this description PERFECTLY!! Jesus is definitely the Son of Man!

I just learned about this the other day, thought it was cool.
