I've been confused for quite some time. I'm not sure if I've been filled, or if I haven't been filled. I'm also just rather curious to hear what it's like, and hearing everyone's descriptions. Please describe it the BEST you can.
Also, if the changes in you after the encounter took some time to happen, or if it happened right after? I also always question if I have the Holy Spirit or not, because, well, I've always had a short temper. I still do. So, that really discourages me as to wether or not I have the Holy Spirit. . .

Thanks for hearing me out, and to anyone that answers, thank you.

You dont feel anything being spirit he dosent take up a lot of room :) Seriously when you get saved you recieve the Holy Spirit and thats as much as there is to get. Scantification is a life long process.
What you do notice is right after you get saved you talk about it and share your faith. Ussually God takes away the big ugly sin and leaves the other stuff for you to work through. The things you once hated like God, His word and His people you now love and the sins you once loved you now hate.

Is scantification related to sanctification? :)

They can't describe it, none of them have it. They can tell you what they believe it is, or what they have read or been told.
But none of them have it. You don't either.

This sounds like it is based in the charismatic movement, and thats just not how it works.

Well... is there any place in the Bible that tells us to rely on how we "feel"?

For that matter, is there any place in the Bible that tells us to even be concerned with how we "feel"?

Just something to think about.

When God puts His Spirit in you, you will most certainly know it and feel it.

Verse please!!! No where does scripture say test your feelings to know that you are in the truth.
First John dosent say I write these things that you may feel, he says know!
Are you going to lay some Asseblies of God nonsense on this person and be so bold as to say they are not saved because they havent spoken in tounges?

The Spirit of God is not a verse or in the bible. It is a Spirit. It is alive. It is not words written on paper.

I cannot make you understand.

I feel the earth move under my feet, I feel the skies come tumling down. I feel my heart start to trembling. Whenever you're around. what do you think is it the Holy Spirit or just a Carrol King flash back?

I could tell you certain things that you have never heard or read before about the Spirit of God when you have it or do not have it.

But I am not going to do this.

Then they will copy me and start preaching this to everyone.

And pretty soon just like everything else that was Holy...
they will desecrate it and pollute it with their silliness and nonsense.

I do not care. You are you. I am not you.

How does God talk to us...with cymbals and lots of noises? He comes in a still quiet voice and that is how the Holy Spirit is. For the Holy Spirit is part of God. You may not feel any different but once you have claimed Christ as Lord and savior, the Holy Spirit resides in you and starts to work on you. The Holy Spirit is a teacher and guide for you. You will find yourself wanting to know more of God and the bible. You will recognize the things in your life that need to change (short fuse) and you with the help of the Holy Spirit, will begin to work on them.

You do not need to speak gibberish or go all holy roller for the Holy Spirit to reside in you.

The first thing that I noticed was that the things that I wanted to do had changed. I no longer wanted to be around some of my "best" friends. The type of movies and TV programs I enjoyed changed. The type of books that I wanted to read was different. etc.

The most obvious change was my ability to stand in front of my class and speak without getting violently ill.

The things that came with a little time, like an end to my violent temper and my intense dislike and fear of my father, took a little more time. The Holy Spirit had to work on me a bit more.

The thing that I have learned over a life time has been that God sent me a Comforter. When I seek His advice, things work out much easier than when I go off on my own.

Over the years, I have worked with many new Christians who have the same questions that you have. I have one tidbit of of advice that I give them is found in Luke 11:9. "So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." The Holy Spirit is there, just look for him.

I hope that I have helped you.

It's alright to shout. The Prophet Isaiah said so in Isaiah 42. Isaiah had something that needed to be said. Maybe you should do as he did. Just my humble opinion. Answer the OP's questions. Shout them if you wish.

What changes is your perspective and the condition of your heart.

Feelings are like waves tossed in the ocean. They come and go and are easily swayed. :)
