Hello friends :)
Just wanted to get your opinion.
Is it weird that I read science magazines and science books even though I believe in God?
Do anyone find it weird? I mean, even the MOST genius scientist believed in God (Einstein)

I'm made from star dust, i'm atoms, like everything in this world, (Water, sunlight, etc)
GOD created these things, and he created the BIG puzzle with Atoms etc too. Right.
Scienctist are usually atheist though, and very arrogant. So perhaps God created science to test people?
Tell me what you think? :)

No. I do too and I declare myself un-weird; so you can do the same.

Do anyone find it weird?
I don't think there's a problem with it.

i have subscriptions to Astronomy & Smithsonian magazines and check nature, astronomy & general science news sites regularly. when i have time, i absolutely devour sci-fi novels, reading hundreds of pages a day. if it's well written, it's not weird for me to finish a 400-600 page book in a single day.

it is my Father's world, and i'm fascinated by His fingerprints on His handiwork.

that 'christians shouldn't be interested in science' is a bogus propaganda. does the universe not show His handiwork? don't i love Truth? don't believe anyone who tells you God and scientific knowledge are incompatible. those people are deceived.

The really smart scientists believe in GOD hah!.....

Couple points to ponder...

1. God has made foolish the wisdom of this world and one cannot know God/find God dia worldly wisdom....
2. The things made are NOT MADE OF WHAT THEY APPEAR TO BE MADE OF....

Up to the ACID GURU college professors and liberalism MOST geologists and many scientists such as your referenced Einstein believed in God and testified unto global destruction by a flood.....Even NEWTON believed in GOD....!

Absolutely not, I love science.

Was one of my fav subjects at school.
Also when I did my diploma in beauty therapy we learnt a lot about chemistry, its awesome stuff :)

God created everything scientist are exploring. Sometimes they even explain God to us. When it was discovered the earth was round when bible scholars said it was square, it explained what God meant by the four corners of the earth, for instance. By their assertion that the earth is old, we can go back to the first day and find there was something here on that first day.

We can even use the psychologist findings about meditation on how God uses it for our benefit. We know not to follow their guidelines to empty the mind, scripture shows us that. But we can better understand what God means to meditate on the word and how to do that the best way.

No doubt?......I was as well.....I made a SOLAR MODEL and was studying Atoms at the age of 12 and was doing algebra at the age of 7.....I had a relative in my family tree that helped Newton write algorithms....my grandfather was a Time Study Engineer and the math and science came easy to me.....English on the other hand..........HAHAH :)

Haha yes I remember you telling me about this... thats so cool

Well I always had a passion for science, I was never good at maths lol...English I was quite good at.
When I was doing my beauty course we learnt a lot about biology...
Its really important in my line of work.
I learnt all about the anatomy and physiology of the body, skin function, we even learnt how organs are formed, the nervous system, digestive system, etc ...

Thennnn we learnt chemistry haha that was hard.....but I think it was my fav out of all the subjects.
Learning how plant extracts penenrate the skin, the molecular components they use to bind the products....its all science.... im still learning about this stuff as my rep for work shows me new things all the time

Awesome and it is amazing how (things) work and how plants can be utilized for many things.....what trips me out is like the following....

Take liquid oxygen and or hydrogen and they are extremely flammable and explosive and yet add two atoms of Hydrogen and 1 atom of oxygen and you get water that is used to put out fires...

Same thing with salt.......Sodium chloride....apart they are dangerous, will burn, poisonous etc. and together our body utilizes it to help connect and control our muscles dia electrical impulses

Can one of you science buffs explain what an electron is? How does it appear to be a particle and also a wave?

An even deeper thought is the fact that in reality, each ATOM is a MINI REACTOR and under the right circumstances equals perpetual power of ALL things HAHAHHA.......:)

Ever since Greek thinking began and took over, we have been mixing paganism into our everyday life. Before, days of the week were first day, second day, etc. Then they became Sunday to honor the sun god, Monday to honor the moon goddess, Tues. for Tyr the god of war, Wed. for the Norse god know to Romans as Zeus, Thur. to honor Thor, Fri. for wife of Zeus, Sat. for god Saturn.

The use of the heavens as astronomy uses them was used by Apollo in her worship services. We are not to do that. Read what Paul says about that worship. You are not worshipping Apollo, you are just copying the worship of her.

Do you rely on God with your life and future, or a distant star?
